Rotisserie chicken, garlic aioli and French salad is brilliant. Service is exceptional, cute restaurant. Highly recommend. Great for date night.

Soif is a little slice of wine-fueled magic on Battersea Rise. The food? Effortlessly delicious. The low-intervention wines — each glass tells a story. And the service? Like dining at a friend’s house (if your friend happens to be effortlessly cool and really knows their way around a wine list). A proper gem!

Outstanding as always - remains my favourite place in London. Feature in the Michelin Guide more than well deserved for this place, only thing missing is its first star!

We absolutely adored our evening at Soif! The staff were so lovely and accommodating , felt like they could be friends. And the food blew us away, especially the pumpkin on Gorgonzola. It was a little more expensive than anticipated but still good reviews

This French bistrot was such a tasty find! Great food, service and atmosphere. Everything our table ordered was delicious, with highlights being the pumpkin starter and the bavette for me. Richard, who looked after us was a delight! Definitely recommend it and will be back!

Excellent food and interesting selection of wines - we enjoyed the Georgian Red paired with the Ham Hock . You have a choice to eat Meze style with small dishes or a start and shared main . It’s a formula that offers something different in the SW11 catchment .

Was meaning to come here for ages and wasn’t disappointed. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable and food was delicious. Tried some interesting wines, including two lovely orange wines. The soda bread was a highlight for me. Also enjoyed: salad, anchovies, salami Wasn’t wowed by the beef tartare.

Way way too expensive for what we got. The absolutely WORST was charging over £50 for Roast Chicken. Had the Roast Chicken been amazing, maybe that would be have been ok but any Roast Chicken from Tesco Rotisserie for around £3 tasted exactly the same. Really disappointed and even more so as I brought 5 guests with me. However, on a positive note, the starters were outstanding and the service was so friendly and really excellent.

Delicious food and friendly staff But it was so busy (which is good) and the noise levels too much for a relaxed dinner with the tables just a bit too close to each other. Perhaps we should have chosen a quieter night!

Excellent experience for lunch with friends. The sevice was caring and attentive. The food and wine selection was interesting with plenty of choice of sharing plates. I don’t eat meat but still found plenty of choice. I was surprised by how reasonable the bill was, and it included a service charge.

Visited with my partner and both our Mums for lunch. Friendly and attentive service. Reasonably priced for excellent, ethically sourced food and drink. Lovely experience overall.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants and we try to get there on a regular basis. The food and service is always exceptional. They have an amazing selection of wines with lots of interesting new ones to try every time we go. Cannot say enough good things about Soif!

Small cute restaurant with an original and delicious menu. Prices have gone up, and it makes for an expensive lunch place... Staff is attentive and very nice.

We went for their set lunch menu, three courses and a glass of wine for £25pp. It blew us away! Incredible value for money given the portions were healthy and every course was rich and flavourful! We often walk past and now feel its a bit of a hidden gem, will certainly come back - the chilled red wines are enough reason to alone!

The Food and wine I had was lovely and staff only too happy to make good recommendations. But please be aware that the booking App allows you to book a table for food before the kitchen is open. I was expecting the full menu but sometimes the unexpected provides the best experiences. The cheese and bread selection was wonderful!

the best impressions, hard to describe. Simply everything, but the combination of wine and food is beyond praise! Canteberian anchovies in first place, Iberico tomatoes and oysters for starters. Grilled chicken for three with a mind-blowing sauce for the main will leave no doubt about the quality. Wine in the photo, try it yourself! And we were very pleased! We will come many more times and recommend it to you!

Fantastic meal, great selection of wines and attentive service

Wow! What a fabulous lunch again at Soif. Braised pork jowl with a cassoulet of cannellini beans and a Dijon mustard sauce. It was accompanied by a simple leaf salad that looked divine with the colour combination and tasted as good with a delicious French dressing. Chefs you are doing an amazing job. Well done.

Excelente servicio, buen ambiente, excelente comida francesa bistró con igualmente buen vino. Elegimos un entremés para varios y la tapenade fue gloriosamente suculenta, El principal fue un pollo entero con patatas fritas y ensalada, de buen gusto por decir lo menos. el pudín era ligero y sabroso. lo que no es de gustar! El Radiccio en la ensalada fue una ventaja añadida! Este equipo sabe cómo complacer y cómo clavar una comida excepcional. la única crítica negativa es que la mesa era una pequeña nimiedad, pero ¡oh qué fiesta! ¡Volveremos pronto!

Very pleased to have visited Soif last night. Great food, wine and service. Charcuterie was excellent and venison cooked to perfection. Dessert of salted chocolate mousse served with a fine glass of Maury was an unexpected but deliciously pairing. Staff were a delight. The place was full of v happy customers.

I have been really impressed before, we have had dinners a few times at Soif. Was a bit disappointed with the service this time; waiters disinterested (some were drinking behind the bar), food not as nice as it used to be, what’s going on?

Next level Stracciatella! Good wine list. Lovely Swartland number by the glass.

It was our first visit to Soif, we were meeting friends to celebrate a birthday. We were given a very warm welcome and enjoyed great service from all of the staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The ambience was warm and welcoming, the food was innovative and delicious, and the wine list was very interesting. We travelled up from Surrey and the effort was well worth it and we look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Monday night good if you like chicken and a £15 discount on a bottle of wine. Very relaxed ambience but great service and French bistro atmosphere. Bread selection excellent with starter platter, duck rillettes , pâté cornichons and the inevitable chicken. Ate too much so had to share a single choccy mousse with coffee, 15 yr old Armagnac, heaven.

Food wine and service fantastic. Between 4 adults, we had the beetroot and the stratetelli/grape and bread to start, then the rotisserie chicken and the halibert for mains, and 2x chocolate moose and a crème caramel for desert. Reisling wine to accompany. Everything bang on, would recommend

One of our local favorites! The food is always excellent and the service is personal and fun! Of particular note is an excellent wine list with so many interesting and very reasonably priced options. It's always full and exciting on the weekends so do book ahead. It's awesome fun and we always go back for more!

My fav restaurant in Clapham Junction and I’m not even a big fan of French food but will willingly go to Soif any day of the week! Great food, good service, generous portions and moderately priced. The owner makes you feel so welcomed too, and the wine selection is fab. They were even be try mindful about my friend’s intolerance to dairy and helped us order a different salad for all to enjoy. Honestly just go!

We went on a Monday when there was a discount on bottles of wine which was great. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. My only complaint would be they only have roast chicken on a Monday (besides small plates). I was with a vegetarian man so it would have been nice if he had had more options for a 'main' course. Food was delicious though.

Great local spot with an amazing selection of unique wines. Their £20 half chicken, chips and greens was an absolute winner. The staff really knew their wine list and the menu was easy to understand. Would definitely go back.

Ruddy bloody good food. It does classic flavours really well, it's kinda how you want most restaurants to be - simple and delicious. It seems that's quite a rare thing, though, so I guess this place is a bit special. Really good natural wine list too if you like some dutty flavours in your glass.

Prices are stratospheric for the small amount of decent food that arrives. Be prepared to spend £80 a head or leave hungry. And that is with modest drinking. The tiny Monk fish tail was raw and had to be returned. The rear of the establishment by the kitchen is dingy and unpleasant. This used to be a decent restaurant…

Always a lovely place for our Monday date night with my husband. The service is great and the wine choice is extensive. They have a lovely terrace, so we can even bring our dog when the weather is good (large dogs like our Lab are not allowed inside). Now, let’s talk about the pièce de résistance – the rotisserie chicken. It’s a dish that transcends the ordinary, with its flavorsome and succulent meat. The jus is a smooth symphony that enhances every bite, creating a harmonious blend with the perfectly cooked fries (there is also a side of a leafy salad for those who want to balance the fries). It’s not just a meal; it’s a perfect dinner.

Normally have the rotisserie chicken here which is always excellent but instead went for a choice of small plates which were all utterly stunning especially the scallops in parsley butter. An amazing wine list and knowledgeable (and friendly) staff make this highly recommended. I scored four stars for ambience as there were only 3 tables occupied at lunch. Criminal!

The food was decent quality but portion size very small and outrageously priced. Definitely recommend getting bread if you want to come out full.

I was blown away by the food. I tried things I'd never tried before and everything was delicious. I couldn't believe how good the food was. The bread and desserts were also amazing. It's a shame I was not drinking as they also had an extensive natural wine list. I will definitely be back to pair that pork collar with a nice wine 😁

We've been going to Soif for over ten years and think it is by far the best restaurant in the area. We love the food, service and ambience of the restaurant. You can see the care and attention paid to all of these areas, whilst having a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.

Food was tasty but hit and miss on the wine. Were sat at the back near the kitchen and I think you need to change the oil or clean the grills as a very heavy smoke smell - made the ambience unpleasant. Friendly helpful service though. Some dishes better value for money than others.
