Nando's - Balham in Wandsworth

Ordered online waited over an hour for the order to constantly become more and more delayed every fifteen mins. Tried phoning the branch I had ordered from only to be sent to recorded messages that kept taking me back to voice bots rather than allowing me to call the branch and speak to someone directly to find out what the issue was and why it was taking so long without any update. Will never order from them again and will use a diff branch.

Great staff, good food. Slight communication problem, they didn't understand my order! Garlic bread came instead of garlic peas, which was actually a delightful 'mistake' And I got a chicken leg, when I thought I had clearly asked for breast. Maybe my fault for having a phone that doesn't like qr codes, or whatever those scanny things are? So I had to order verbally. Chocolate gellatio to end was perfect. Thank you. Best Wishes. A.

There was a sight problem with the ac dripping at our table onto the children, but the manager Marlon, resolved it very well. We were immediately moved and the children compensated with a dessert. He also cleared up the problem you. He was polite and had good customer service. The food service was quick also and food tasted great. Thank you & recommended.

There was a lovely staff member who took my order, he was so lovely so eager to serve whilst holding crutches and standing with a hurt leg (as per obvious) Although i love nandos food and staff in Balham (amazing quality of staff actually) i am appalled that the employees have to work with an injury, because I presume that there is no sick leave or sufficient pay… this is disgraceful. You are who you are because of your employees and if you don’t respect them then me and my 40k followers on social media should know not to choose you . Been coming here since it opened and I have to say the team are so friendly. I know them all by name and they know howni like my food cooked. Resha,Steve,Liz,Nula,musatfa are great…in terms of cooking Grant and Albert really know their stuff. Restaurant is a bit tired now!!! And it could a bit cleaner! Keep up the fantastic work guys

Although my internet wasn't working they still said i wasn't allowed to pay at the till, it had to be done online. Which i couldn't do and they didnt help so we left. People who cant use internet or have issues using it they dont help. No point of going..

Quick bite before a local event. Staff lovely as always. Very pleasant occasion. Slight issue with the draft from the takeway window (which is fairly new). Loved the Christmas clementine marinade

Unbelievably poor service don’t order online waited two hours phone them to say they are struggling to complete order. I understand lack of delivery drivers but don’t offer the service if you cannot fullfil it.

Went out to eat with my friend after finding out Nandos were not delivering. Best decision of the year !! Food was amazing. Great taste and out promptly. Staff were friendly and accommodating with good charisma and charm. Great diversity with both kitchen and floor staff. And manager dealt with an angry, shouting customer with both humility and calm. 5 tables in the restaurant and forgot 2/3 of our orders. Mate had finished by the time it arrived. Only one good staff member.

I haven't been here for 18 months so it was lovely to be back. Very well organised even for those of us with no smart phone. Very welcoming and friendly staff - everything managed very well indeed.

Had a great experience. Just popped in for lunch. Really accommodating. Clarissa our server was exceptional. Food was nice hot fresh. Chops were cooked great. Has the new vegan weap. Not bad at all

I was served by Elizabeth, I couldn’t use my NHS discount as it was clock and collect so I got free sauces. The food was cooked very well, chicken was juicy and peri peri chips were well seasoned. They forgot my garlic bread but was offered a free meal on my next order. We definitely go again!

My partner and I enjoy a Nandos once in a while. So we decided Sunday to go the Balham one for lunch. Such a bad decision! To start with no soap for customers, disgusting filthy table, we decided to wipe ourself, very dirty floor. Food was not fresh either: bad coleslaw and the wings not cooked properly!!! Outrageous! Not going there again!

1/10 again for Nando’s Balham. Last week the order came but 2 hours after we ordered it. This week it only came an hour late but it was not our order and only had food for 3 when we have a family of 4. Nando’s Balham can only deliver correctly 1 in 7. Poor. That was your last chance. I expect a refund for tonight but from now on we will go elsewhere. Such a shame Nando’s Balham the kids love the food but there have been tears every other week. Shame.

Don't go to this Nando's if you are in a hurry. I waited half an hour for chicken wings!!!! And it's not the first time!

Oye, es de Nando. . Tú sabes qué esperar . . . y nos dieron una buena comida esta noche. . . Nos sirvieron rápidamente y nuestra comida llegó rápidamente. Muy bien cocinados y servidos con porciones de buen tamaño. Fui por un desierto esta noche, probé el brownie que estaba seco, por lo tanto no puntuaba 5 estrellas. . Buena variedad de platos de pollo y opciones tan vegetarianas.

Soy un cliente habitual en Nandos, sin embargo, solo visité este en un puñado de ocasiones. La comida estaba bien, sin embargo, me dijeron que no había más ajo con mis aceitunas y la persona que nos servía olvidó mi queso. Cuando levanté esto con el camarero, me dijo que no lo había pedido sin siquiera revisar el recibo. La comida era estándar de Nando y la baja calificación solo refleja el servicio que me dieron.

La calidad de la comida por el precio es buena, sabroso pollo y buena variedad de salsas, pero solo si come adentro. La comida para llevar está mal envuelta y por lo tanto fría y cuando llamamos para decir que faltaban dos elementos, dijeron que lo sentimos. Entregar reembolsaremos el costo. . bueno cuando tienes hambre y es media comida simplemente no es lo suficientemente buena, especialmente en Londres cuando hay tanta competencia. No ordenaremos de nuevo, muy decepcionante.

Comimos aquí la noche antes de nuestro paseo en bicicleta. Tuvimos una gran comida. No decepcionó. La comida se sirve rápidamente y estaba delicioso. El tamaño de las porciones parecía decente. El servicio fue amable. Buen ambiente ya que el restaurante estaba ocupado. Tenía dos platos principales para llenar de energía y ambos eran sabrosos. El restaurante está en una buena ubicación en la ciudad

Evening meal with a friend in a familiar places. As always the food was excellent and the staff welcoming and friendly. My only gripe is the background music - as people get older, it's harder to hear.

I love this place, it’s Halal, yummy, and delicious. Their chicken is marinated and their burgers have lots of sauce I am 9 and go here with my family sometimes. 5 star

Tonight nandos had BARELY ANY CHICKEN. No butterfly chicken or chicken wings. Then they claimed they had no coleslaw but staff were particularly enjoying it with their meal. Front of house staff were calm and collected, food really disappointed me tonight. Terrible

Pre theatre meal with a book. Quiet before 6.30 which is lovely. Staff really friendly and helpful and the food is always very good. Plus I'd reached my red chilli so got the meal for free. Very good loyalty scheme

Went for a meal with my partner food was freezing staff miserable called to complain and manager davide was very unhelpful didn't believe me very unprofessional I definitely wont be eating here again. Terrible food, terrible customer services skills and terrible manager.

Called in here for a quick snack before a meeting.Very busy but in my experience service was quick and food very good with a good selection of sauces.

Fui con un par de amigos el pollo no estaba bien era de hecho marinaded insípida. El servicio era buen personal son buenas, limpia, no como antes, fuimos allí una vez vi un ratón corriendo por el restaurante dijo a la gerencia, se rieron y a la izquierda! ! Quizás es muy sucursal de mascotas? ! :/

I visited the place with my family in the Xmas period and had a horrible time. I would suggest to go to another restaurant as they need vast improvements in all areas. Too many to go in details. If you still prefer go to another...

Me gusta ir a es muy cuando realmente no te apetece cocinar pero no quieres la culpabilidad de ser obligado a comer basura. Mi preferencia es extra caliente con puré de camote y col.

I visited this Nandos after a very busy day and as my friends and family are regulars to nandos, visiting almost all in south and west London, this by far is the worst for service and food quality. My chicken was burnt to the bone, and I was ignored from the very first moment I arrived at the door. I am actually in shock that when placing my meal at the till the waitress had the worst body language and instead of suggested things for me to order actually started to roll her eyes. Even the manger wearing a light blue shirt ignored my many attempts to ask what was happening with my order. I was also with my 2 year old and was not once offered anything to make his visit interesting, such as the crayons and child menu/colour book often offered in all other Nandos, My suggestion is don't bother going here drive down a bit and go to another nandos as this one clearly cannot cope even when the restaurant is half empty.

Well, it's rare restaurant that runs on Sunday in Balham.People are friendly, and the food was good, though not great.

I like Nandos - a lot. And the Balham branch is a good one. They have refurbished since I last went and the ambience is much brighter and friendlier. The draught from the door has been sorted. A reliable place for a quick bite without being rushed.

Visited out local Nandos, the refurb looks really good & I'm sure we'll be back to eat in the restaurant. I ordered a beanie wrap - this came burnt and in a pitta as they had run out of wraps. Also our food took about 25 mins to come - for chips and a wrap. Not sure if they have new staff and are still training but it seemed a bit chaotic.

Nandos everywhere is pretty much the same.. We often go to this one, and depending who is working they either let you in 1030-11 or only takeaway... its inconsistentI must say I love a Nandos.. the chicken, the rice the sauces.... mmmmm mmmm,However my gripe is this... when it first opened, the portions were much better.... bigger chickens, overload of chips - enough to cover the chicken almost (on a platter). Now its very much measured. Sides are expensive for the amount you get... the chips im sure these days are counted so not to give you one more than the accountant has allocated. Mash potatoe is awesome... New Churasco burger is very good, with a side of 3 wings of course.Those people who dont like chicken on the Bone... are missing out.The new card system means that if you get two meals you only get one 'chilli' - before you could get two stampsIt is chicken and chips... but its better than good...

Anyone who has been to a Nando's before will know exactly what they're getting food-wise - chicken and chips in a lively environment. Unfortunately. the service here was shocking and a number of those who served us were extremely rude. Not great when you're paying over the odds for generic food.

Went here after a our regular netball game on a Wednesday. Got a table for 8 no problem and the service and food was good. It is great for groups as not too expensive.

Yummy Nandos as always! Staff are lovely, polite & efficient here. The only downside is still the phone line isn't very clear - order online instead.

We've been here a few times now, and we're always greeted by super friendly and fun staff. The food is pretty perfect, just what we're after. The restaurant itself is rarely horribly busy, so you're guaranteed a table without too long a wait, and you can eat without too much disruption. One of the nicest places to eat in Balham.

I particularly liked the way the waiting staff in this branch looked after me and my colleagues. They really made y evening. Thank you.

This branch is a good Nando's, mainly because its not always rammed (except Saturday nights) & the staff are friendly & very polite, customer service here is exceptional. The only complaint I have is the bad phone line - its really hard to hear staff & they need to fix it, we now only order online or in store at this branch.

Nando's is always Nando's. There's nothing special with the Balham branch, nor is it bad in any way. Decent chicken and friendly service :)

So self service, dry overlooked chicken that they pour some unsubtle unpleasant sauce over. Serve it with frozen chips and bought in coleslaw and viola a big plate of crap.What utter rubbish.

We all know Nandos and what they do. And they do it very well. But the Balham Branch deserves special mention on my visit for the excellent standards of service.I was on a business trip so dining on my own. I was made to Feel welcome and served professionally and efficiently and very courteously .

Order chicken wings for starters, waiter taken out order wouldn't allow us to only order wings we had to order another side, garlic bread. And a double Brest wrap medium and single pita with sides. Manger came over after bout 10 mins to say waiter should have told us there is delay with wings will be another 8 mins. Said ok. 8 mins later she says another 10 mins I said just give us bread and no wings she said no wait for wings and gave us nuts on house. 10 mins later new waitress with very poor people skills advises it will be another 5-10 mins. We just accepted it we've waited this long so far. Few mins later manager returns apologies for delays offers us free desert. We requested at time of ordering and to the manager that we wanted wings starters and about 10-15 mins later the wrap and pita, each time they said of course no problem. Low and behold we were only 2-3 wings into our starter and out comes the mains but PROBLEM two wraps arrive and no pita. Very poor service to be honest. Food itself was nice but the delay and then serving both starters and mains almost at the same time led to us not fully enjoying our meal. We ordered 1 desert which was niceOverall good management in place, staff lacking some what, communication inaccurate, food nice.

Went Friday evening while visiting our daughters who work in London and live in Balham. The place on high street is busy but they still serve you well and food is dependable and good. Have visited Nandos in many countries over the years and have not complained as yet. The branch in Queenstown Newzealand being smallest but with biggest portions ! They seem to work on an excellent business formula.
