Excellent service, arrived before closing but Flavio was super friendly and helped us with our order.

Note that this review is for the business known as nandos in its entirety - this is not directed at the putney franchisee. As this company choose to not list their head office, located in Erico House, it is necessary to select the nearest available location to the aforementioned head office in order to make customers and prospective customers aware of their business practices. Having placed an online order for delivery in the last twelve hours it is fair to say that we were initially dismayed at the size of the bag that arrived - at a cost of £48 to me and my partner - and further appalled upon opening said bag, to reveal four meagre pieces of chicken, a tiny serving of livers, wilted broccoli, dry corn and 'spicy rice', and a sad little cardboard box of almost warm mashed potato that could easily fit within one serving ladle. The accompanying 'peri chips' were not saved by the size of the serving because paying over £7.50 for a portion of chips beggars belief, but we did so as we were acutely aware from the last order we placed with these people during the lockdown of 2021 of the stingy helpings that this company have reduced their meal sizes to. To say that the days of travelling to this establishment with friends and family or attempting to make use of their delivery service as a special treat are over is an understatement. The portion sizes, overall quality and blatant overpricing of this product was so lacklustre and uninspired, it is easy to state that we will never return to nandos again. It would also not be unreasonable to say that we can not nor would not recommend this food to any of our friends or family in future, either.

The staff are super attentive and friendly. Our server was Navio he made sure we had everything and we’re satisfied with our meal I felt like we definitely got the 5/5 star nandos experience. Will defo be back

I had a brilliant experience with Flavio at Nando's in Putney this evening. He is the life and soul of the restuarant and welcomed me with a warm greeting. I'd forgotten to add peri-salted fried to my takeaway order but he arranged for the kitchen to make some at the last-minute and threw them in free of charge. I will certainly be returning, mainly due to Flavio.

Flavio was very nice to us:) The food portion was huge and very delicious! I love bottomless drinks and bottomless ice cream. Nicest crew I've met in a while. I got at least 4 smiles. So random, but so cute.<3

Always 5*. Been here too many times to count. Need to bring back the great imitator wrap though, as I'm not going as often due to this. This branch is a lot better than the Wimbledon branch which I've been to twice, where the tables are practically on top of one another and they don't let you sit upstairs during non peak hours.

Customer Quality-Ometer – Mild, Bland, Medium, Not Very Hot Service, Peri Poor, Peri Peri Poor Quality I sent a detailed complaint about our experience to Nando’s head office, and six days later, no one has even bothered to reply. It seems their customer service is just as disappointing as the food – definitely not very hot service! Peri peri poor! We’ve been loyal Nando’s customers since the first branch opened in Putney back in 1997/1998, when they welcomed us with a complimentary full chicken. Tonight’s experience, however, was far from the high standards we once enjoyed and was honestly appalling. The chicken was burnt and dry, with absolutely no flavor. The chips arrived hard, cold, and riddled with large black spots – completely inedible. The garlic bread was a joke, resembling a burnt bun with only the faintest hint of garlic, something a 10-year-old could easily replicate. The halloumi was overcooked to the point of being a charred, tasteless mess. And to top it all off, we attempted to eat the Portuguese natas, but they were just lumps of dough with no flaky pastry – clearly made with cheap ingredients and an absolute waste of money. For a meal costing £70, every single element was done badly. It begs the question – what exactly are we paying for? Certainly not quality. It’s evident that Nando’s has lost its commitment to providing great food, despite charging premium prices. Nando’s HQ often responds to negative feedback with the same old message about passing it on to the Putney team, but it’s obvious that nothing changes. This lack of care for customers, especially long-standing ones, is disappointing. After the pandemic, you would expect more effort to win back loyalty and deliver exceptional quality. This experience was anything but memorable, and we’re left questioning if it’s worth returning at all – certainly not for £70.

Great food service was slow but overall nice atmosphere with outdoor seating

First time ever trying the infamous Nandos and was waiting for my food for almost 30 minutes while everyone else ate and finished. I even went to check on what was taking long 15 minutes in and it seemed they forgot about my order they said 2-3 minutes and it still ended up being about another 10ish minutes. Food was lukewarm from waiting. Hoping the next time I go to a Nandos it lives up to its acclaim.

Worst nandos I've ever been to food was awful dry unflavoured, plus Manager was more interested in getting herself ice cream than helping customers walk right past me, service was even worse I can't believe I spent 18 pound on this plus I can hear staff screaming having a conversation in the back please don't come here bread tasted like it had been microved not crispy or. Tasty all never coming here again .. absolutely appalling behavior 🤦🏾😪🤔

I am never using Nando’s Putney again. We walked up to collect an order for three of us. We got home and one of the orders was missing. I called and they said I should walk back or pay for Deliveroo!! (we are a half mile away). I would have to walk to their restaurant again (!) while family ate as I didn’t want them to suffer from Nando’s lack of customer service, their mistake and negligence. They wouldn’t credit my credit card for a refund as I paid cash. Juan the manager was so unhelpful and no apology. Useless all round!

This was my first time dining in a Nando’s restaurant outside of my own local area. I was very impressed with how the manager and staff were very accommodating immediately and went out of their way to help when I had asked. The food didn’t disappoint in the slightest!

I wish I took some pictures of the Nando’s we visit yesterday, This Nando’s is on of the prettiest Nando’s I’ve visit, The manger Flavio was amazing he went above and behind for our service he provided, I also have notice the great team dynamic going on, I would highly recommend this Nando’s. I had the Beanie wrap and some sweet potato chips, can’t wait to try the pulled mushroom wrap 🤤🤤

Nice place, good food and super helpful when requesting to adhiere to gluten free guidelines, but got the rest of my delivery order wrong twice and were not taking any responsibility for it.

Service is ok food is average but what is strike me everything I go to nandos they changing the rules of blue light card discount. It is really annoying. Do or don't. It sounds like big discount but tiny bit and asking questions and embarrassing front of other customers. Shame really

I visit this Nando’s once a week with my girlfriend to go for dinner. The staff are all lovely and go above and beyond to ensure that we are looked after. One staff member in particular (Milena) is always super friendly, ensures that we are well looked after and always checks in to see how our meal is. She’s amazing and deserves recognition for her great customer service skills! :)

As far as Nando's goes, this is a pretty good spot - clean, not too busy, service is great. Food is the same as every other branch.

Thank you for charging my sons mobile phone battery.he was stuck at putney with no phone no communication.He went to the Starbucks near you but they said to him he had to purchase something and he had to pay for charging his phone.he didnt have money on him as he was on his bike just to ride for exercise,than he came to you Nandos and you didnt refuse him you charged his phone so he than able to call me and tell me where he is..I thank you soo much for your amasing staff..dont need to tast your food to rate you,some times little humanity,little help to needed ones,kindness ore smile is more than anything... Would never return to the Putney Nando’s. Very rude young lady who works there and has no respect for customers or her manager.

It has been some time ago but the last time I was there, I saw a waitress pick up an old plate from a customer who didn't eat his chicken and she gave it to the cook. Cook checked fast if somebody was watching then picked it up and put it back in the tray for the next customer. Today I went to another Nando's restaurant and saw a similar behaviour...

Experience is very hit or miss here. I've had excellent, quick and efficient meals, and then meals where staff have completely forgotten entrees. Nice layout and I enjoy the upstairs quite a bit.

Stopped at Nandos on the spur of the moment for a takeaway. Placed my order for thighs and mac n cheese only to be told a minute later that they forgot, there was no mac n cheese. I was disappointed as I'd passed other branches on my journey back from being out but came here as it's closer to home. My son visited two days later, and they were still out!! The ingredients are not hard to source! Get it together, Nandos in Putney. 😒

Honestly, Putneys nandos is absolutely top-notch. We've been coming here for so many years and we are always greeted with nice and welcoming faces, being new or old. Great shout out to Susana the manager for being super comprehensive and supportive around the restaurant, especially aiding our table and our "table neighbours" alongside us eating. The food is always prepped at amazing standards and it comes fresh and hot at our tables. I highly recommend coming to this nandos if you are skimming around Putney for a meal! 😍😋

Those staffs are too loud too loud, inside the kitchen she doesn’t have any management to look after them and make they realise they are too loud

The food order was wrong the staff were rude to myself and to the manager who appeared nervous of one of his employees we will never return to this restaurant avoid this place food was cold and cutlery was dirty

Went on 23 Dec'23 for a quick evening meal. Friendly staff, clean restaurant compared to Old Street, Tooting and Colliers Wood (all sticky tables and dirty floors) , the food arrived quick and was tasty. These days unfortunately the salad has been reduced to only leaves and seeds these days, before it used to have cucumber and tomato pieces. Moreover upstairs the ladies toilet cubicles looked like complete car crashes - like they had not been cleaned all day, wish I had taken a picture, toilet roll bits on the floor, sanitary towels overflowing in the bins, someone had pulled the toilet roll out of the holder such that the bit was stuck and nothing more could be taken out without unscrewing the holder itself. Highly disappointed.

Had a great experience here. One of the younger men in the staff was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. I did mention his name to the manger as he did such a fab job!

Loss of a star due to occasional mistakes made with order on each visit (which were corrected). Our last visit we had to wait ages to be seated... only then was told we had to order via the online app. My brother found this extremely slow so we gave up and left.

After waiting 10 minutes for a downstairs table for my elderly mum told till problem so could only order our food in store using the app, sadly we didnt have the time or patience to use the app so left hungry

This has to be the worst branch I’ve ever been to and received a delivery from. The staff sloop around with no urgency or passion for what they are doing. The order is always wrong. Every time I go I say it’s going to be the last. But this time I really feel that is true

Nice fresh food, served quickly. The restaurant was quite clean and tables were cleared and cleaned quickly between customers. Staff were friendly and welcoming. If I was being picky, I wasn't keen on the sink situation in the toilets as I found the automatic dispensing of soap water and dryer made it difficult for me to wash my hands.

I recently went here and the guy who took my order was really friendly and nice the food was good and hot it’s a decent meal for the price there’s upstairs and downstairs seating the only annoying thing is if you sit upstairs you have to keep coming up and down the stairs to refill your drink which is tiring they need to definitely put a drink tap upstairs the atmosphere was nice isn’t want to loud apart from a lady In front of me talking to her kid like he wasn’t right next to her but that’s not nandos fault it’s usually very quiet in there I recommend you don’t get dessert in there because it’s never that great just gonna be a waste of money

Fernando is amazing! The food is very good and to add the waiters are so friendly and kind, asking “how is your food… ect” making sure everything is perfect and Fernando is a great waiter! 5* service!!

Small restaurant compared with other locations yet same great taste. No car park except short stay redbox loading bay

Horrendously burnt chicken, and extremely dry, like eating cardboard. Couldnt eat half of it. Tiny amount of chips given this time too. Extremely disappointing. You would have thought this branch right by the HQ of Nandos would keep some standards. We used to order regularly from Nandos, never again.

I ordered 2 sides, being spicy rice and garlic bread, however I received rice and chips. They soon brought my garlic bread after I mentioned it, but they also forgot about my glass as part of my order, which was also quickly corrected. And my spicy rice was burnt black at certain parts and wasn’t enjoyable.

When I have a time in the peaceful atmosphere with the Darling to have a candle dinner, that will be a perfect place to visit here

I had the pleasure of being served by a lovely waitress here. I mentioned to her that I was feeling hypoglycaemic, and my blood sugar had dropped significantly low, and she rushed to my aid to supply me with soda and a chocolate bar and continued to check on me throughout my meal. Such a fantastic waitress. An incredible act of humility and compassion. Please thank her immensely as this really helped my situation, get back to normal.

this location will be one of my favourite nandos to eat because there are lots of space and its not busy. I enjoyed my food and it arrived very quick. no delays. I will come back again soon.

We had lunch today being the 22/8/23 ordered 2 butterflied prego burgers they arrived with no rolls a mix up with the waiter who couldn’t understand English. They took the order back and replaced them with the burgers as we had ordered but they were dry and tasteless my wife’s burger had a slice of tomato on it that looked old, mentioned this to the staff and the comment was that butterflied chicken is dry, what rubbish if it is overcooked it is going to be dry anyway staff not interested our last visit to Nandos what rubbish.

Poor service. Only 3 of us eating 2 dishes came out and then took 15 minutes for the third to arrive after chasing up. No apology or explanation.

Went to eat here and the service was appalling. Ordered food and it came 1hr late. Didn’t even bother to come and ask us why our food didn’t come. The staff didn’t know what they were doing and they all looked oblivious to the fact that I ordered my food and it didnt arrive at all. Gave us free complementary food though so can’t be entirely mad. 3/10 experience

Whenever I want to order Nando’s from this brand that is the closest to me they never have their delivery on and claim they’re so busy . They give you false timing and tell you it will be back on in a couple minutes and it never comes back on for hours . They tend to deliver food cold and they’re just not truthful unfortunately. Better of ordering from Wandsworth nandos at least you will get your food. I used to work in Nando’s so I know they just close the Deliveroo down and never turn it back on which is very bad .

Disgusting, had chicken wings that was either uncooked or off, chips soggy and cold, What happened to you Nandos, you were my favourite restaurant and now I am off eating with you, last 3 deliveries was not great but this was top for me. Some juice coming out of them.. Blood or water? I just hope I won't be sick tonight as I ate 3 of them. Was hoping the next bite be better and it was getting worse.Sorry nandos but you have seriously disappointed me.

Llamamos para preguntar a qué hora cierra su cocina, ya que era un lunes tranquilo, alguien en la tienda nos dijo por teléfono que la cocina cierra a las 10:30 p.m., si estamos allí antes de que cierren la puerta, podemos sentarnos y comer. Llegamos a las 10: 16 y tres miembros del personal nos dijeron con una sonrisa en su rostro que ya estaban cerrados, solo para llevar.Mencioné que no había llamado 10 minutos antes para verificar y me dijeron que podríamos sentarnos antes de las 10:30. Los tres miembros del personal se miraron el uno al otro y luego nos miraron sin mucho que decir (ya que uno de ellos obviamente acababa de atender mi llamada ...). Les preguntamos si podíamos sentarnos afuera para no hacer un desastre y causarles más limpieza, dijimos que seríamos rápidos y fuera de su camino, dijeron que no tenían asientos afuera y que solo podían sacar. En ese momento, estaba agotado discutiendo con un grupo de personas que, a pesar de la publicidad, están abiertas hasta las 11 de la noche, no se molestaron en lavar los dos platos completos que hubiéramos usado, así que nos dimos vuelta y nos fuimos.Por curiosidad, verificamos la entrega en línea (con ellos diciendo que sacarían mientras estuvimos allí), a pesar de que anunciaron que la entrega de Nando hasta las 11 p.m. ya habían hecho que sus ranuras de entrega en línea no estuvieran disponibles y no harían entrega a domicilio. . . .Después de haber trabajado en la hospitalidad durante muchos años, entiendo que puede ser frustrante servir cerca de su cierre, pero trabajar para una marca respetable con los estándares de la compañía, lo que significa que debe obtener el mismo servicio y producto sin importar dónde se encuentre, es decepcionante que no lo sea. siempre el caso. I am fan of Nando and have tried in various parts of the world - Putney did not disappoint goos food, &amp; friendly staff. I also had a few takeaways but the quality is better in the restaurant - maybe just hotter and crispy.

Visité hoy un lugar para almorzar. Fui servido por un joven muy acogedor llamado Ayrton, que era muy profesional y muy amable al tomar nuestro pedido, hizo que mi almuerzo fuera muy agradable y relajante. Una vez que terminé mi almuerzo, decidí que era un pastel para el desierto, así que una vez más fui a pedirlo, fui recibido por un caballero llamado Tim, que era el gerente. Hice mi pedido con él, que era muy profesional y su nivel de servicio al cliente fue excelente hasta el final de nuestra comida. También había una señora encantadora que constantemente preguntaba cómo era nuestra comida y disfrutamos de la comida, que fue realmente agradable, su nombre era Daniela, el nivel de servicio al cliente aquí era impecable y definitivamente regresaría para otra visita.

Bel locale e non solo in questo locale e penso che in tutti i locali di questa catena ti siedi ti portano il menù scegli ciò che vuoi vai alla cassa ordini paghi e te lo portano al tavolo le biotite come coca cola e aranciata e acqua sono libere alla cassa ti danno il bicchiere e te lo riempi tu il cibo è ottimo buono il pollo

Comí en este restaurante varias veces antes, entendí que el restaurante se ha redecorado recientemente, sin embargo, se sentía igual que antes. Era acogedor, limpio y cómodo. Había comedor en dos niveles. Las escaleras estaban un poco abarrotadas. El personal era amable y acogedor. El servicio fue bueno y oportuno. La mayoría de nuestra comida era satisfactoria en sabor y raciones pero no guau. Me decepcionaron mis cuñas de camotes, que eran suaves, empapadas y de aspecto poco apetecible. Parecía que fueron recalentados en un microondas. El personal se disculpó y me ofreció una alternativa. Mis verduras asadas servidas en un tazón pequeño eran como pisto y muy picantes. Tenía estos dos platos anteriores que fueron cocinados como se describe en el menú. La estación de condimentos estaba limpia y ordenada, mucho mejor que la de otros Nando en los que he estado. El baño estaba limpio.

Paré para almorzar en este Nandos con mi esposo y los dos estábamos más que impresionados. La orden fue tomada por Kingsley, que fue paciente, educado y muy atento. Estaba un poco inseguro de qué ordenar, pero él estaba feliz de hacer sugerencias. La comida era deliciosa; millas mejor que la mayoría de los restaurantes de Nandos que he estado. ¡Definitivamente haremos otra visita pronto! Gracias Nandos Putney

Solíamos venir aquí regularmente, las últimas 2 veces fue una decepción.El restaurante está sucio, el personal está deslizando los restos de comida en el suelo. Los inodoros están sucios, para mí esas 2 razones son suficientes para no poner un pie en él nuevamente.Pasó un mozo de camarero con los pantalones a la mitad de su trasero, como si fuera a una reunión de la esquina de la calle. ¡Eso es absolutamente asqueroso, él está caminando pasando a la gente comiendo su comida! Se lo he dicho al gerente, él los sacó, 5 minutos más tarde estaba con los pantalones nuevamente abajo.¡Pasará mucho tiempo antes de que vuelva a poner el pie en este Nando!

Este es un Nando's, venden pollo, pollo piri - piri, como todos los demás Nando. Si te gusta Nando deberías ir aquí, si no te gusta Nando no deberías ir aquí. Si nunca ha probado Nando o no sabe de qué se trata, debe intentarlo una vez y luego, una vez que tenga una opinión al respecto, puede consultar las dos primeras opciones. Es sabroso y lo disfruto.
