Such a shame this lovely place closed down. Steve and Elaine were wonderful, the food was incredible. Quite frequently ended up there for breakfast and dinner. Even hired the whole place for my birthday. Loved it. Food was always freshly cooked and delicious

Este es un pequeño y lindo lugar encantador con un propietario/chef. Teníamos baguettes y té y nos quedamos muy contentos. hay muchas ofertas del día que suena genial. la comida es limpia y fresca y no muy caro, sin duda vale la pena pasar por aquí.

Proper home cooking and nice atmosphere. The owners are delightful too. When you go a pudding is a must.....

What a gem if a place!Delicious and imaginative menu with a great selection of veggie and meat dishes. Very friendly hosts and lovely ambience. All for a really reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A very surprising discovery, only looking for a late breakfast and found this friendly little establishment, well worth a visit!

We found this nice and simple restaurant while we were hungry. The owner welcomed us warmly and the food was clearly house-made and very good. This is the right place to eat cheap and to feel comfortable.

Why isn't this restaurant full all the time? A great secret tip with terrific value set meals, wonderful staff and service that would put most top venues to shame. Enjoy!

Have recently discovered this place and have had light lunches and, recently, an evening meal.It's a small place but the food is excellent and good value and the service friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Despite having lived close to this wonderful little place for nearly ten years and having often bought baguettes here on a Saturday morning when passing, we only finally ate dinner here in October this year. The quality of the food was very good: we had a lamb casserole and an Indian curry. Starters also lovely. A reliable local place which is welcoming and homely. With the comfortable cushions & artwork on the walls (spot the Iguana! ) it's a very interesting bistro & Elaine & Steeve are lovely hosts! Also the meals are often out of the ordinary, I have had Pheasant & Venison in the past !!!

Steve and Elaine run a lovely little gem on Battersea high street...the food is always top quality fresh and home made...Elaine never ceases to amaze with the list of deserts..it rally is a great place to eat and very very reasonably priced..keep it up!!

If you are in the neighbourhood then this place is worth a try. The food is of a good quality and the prices are reasonable - long may it last!

I went here today on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. Turning up very hungry and needing a filling lunch, I was not disappointed by the menu offered - choices from all day breakfasts to Lamb tagines to corsican beef stews. Great stuff. I went for the lunchtime set menu, and had roasted vegetable and quinoa salad and arancini with tomato sauce. Both were delicious, especially the arancini. The only grumble I would have (as I was very hungry) would be that I wouldn't have minded a bigger portion! The quinoa salad could've done with a bit more on the plate. Service was great though and everything pleased me - I will be back!

This friendly restaurant/café at the top of Battersea High Street is great for croissants and coffee for breakfast or excellent innovative cooking for lunch/dinner. We have been going for breakfast for some time but only recently had dinner there. The food is modern fusion with a special atmosphere all of its own. It almost feels as if you are eating at a friend's place. The night we were there we had an Indonesian Mie goreng with prawns, chicken and pork, and a Moroccan lamb tagine. Both were excellent and the bill very reasonable.They also do take-aways and picnic hampers and there are a couple of tables outside. Although slightly off the beaten track it is well worth a visit.
