The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

First impressions from the outside are really off putting. The front carpark is partially blocked by an old estate car and the back carpark almost full of scrap delapidated vehicles of all types. There are fridge and washing machine and kegs scattered about the grounds as well. This may have something to do with storm damage that’s mentioned but it should be cleared away completely not left to walk past on way to restaurant. Why the owners would want this as a reflection of their business beggars belief. Inside it’s supposed to be in the process of renovation but from the front entrance onwards the decor is very tatty and once again sets a poor impresssion. The food is ok but as someone else has mentioned the green veg is a mishmash of sorts and left a pool of water at bottom of plate. It’s needs bringing up to date fast and the carpark cleared to become a venue that you would like to return to.

Vine aquí a almorzar. Comida muy sabrosa y no cara. El servicio era un poco lento, podría ser un poco más atento. Me encantaría volver.

We've planned this trip ages ago to go London from Cornwall with friend for one of us birthday. This was the only food I had through all day and I had the most horrible food poisoning ever. We've had beef burgers and girls had veggie wraps along with chips. Under one of the burgers there was a piece of paper and meat was suspicious. My heart rate went up to 193bpm, I had all the things that could possibly happen due to the food poisoning. Thanks for messing up such an important day for us, we had to go back to our apartment as I was feeling terrible. I hope staff sees and realises that their food does impact people day/days. Again, never trust places like this because you don't know what they're serving you. Ciao! 😨

No tengo gluten y solo pude comer dos cosas en el menú principal, ninguna de las cuales contiene carne que realmente me apetecía. El servicio fue bueno, no super rápido pero muy amable, lo que creo que compensa cualquier defecto. La decoración era preciosa, romántica y de mal humor con dos grandes chimeneas, se sentía cómodo, lleno de gente con un buen ambiente.

Absolutamente horrendo servicio. Supongamos que cierra a las 11. 00 . Pero alrededor de las 10. 30 pm la tienda estaba totalmente limpia, trapeada y no se proporciona servicio mientras estábamos dentro. Una señora trató de ayudar arriba, pero el turco le dijo algo a la señora y la señora actúan como si no hubiera entendido mi petición. Servicio de basura. Nunca lleves a tu familia allá afuera. Te decepcionarán

Lovely breakfast so welcoming, definitely worth a visit as Four in a Bed winner. Matt and his team were lovely.

Turned up at the pub. discovered the owner and i shared the same name and believed that we would see eye to eye however...When she looked at me i felt as if my soul had been removed from my body then again if it had that would have been a blessing. she was very rude and abrupt On to the food, the difference between this restaurant and a chip shop is the chip shop give you decent portions of food and it actually comes cooked. i am uncertain if there was a power cut as the lighting was very dim and all food was served cold. if i wanted cold chips i would have ordered them from McDonald's.When we asked for deserts and a cup of tea it felt like the impression was given that we were depriving a child of love.None of the waiting staff looked older than 15 therefore the only bit of eye candy was Craig the other owner. After one glance i knew he wanted it, which was really the only positive memory i would take away from here and take it away i will.Wouldn't even recommend to someone i didn't like.

only been there during lunch. Very good mix grill and mix meze. Nice ambience with a touch of class. lunch time normally quiet.

My sister and I had a beautiful high tea at the Brasserie. Sandwiches and cakes were amazing served with excellent coffee, my sister said her pot of tea was good too. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Nice surroundings, we will certainly go again when my sister comes to stay.

Hazte un favor y ve a este pub! El ambiente en este lugar es increíble! El personal (y los otros clientes) es súper amable, muy acogedor y feliz de hacer su visita lo más agradable posible. No comí aquí... sólo porque no investigué mucho antes. Hubo una actuación musical esa noche, y fui principalmente por eso; sin embargo, de haberlo sabido, habría ido antes y comido antes del espectáculo. Nunca había oído hablar de este lugar antes, pero cuando estoy en la ciudad, voy a hacer que esto me vaya - para un lugar para una noche! Gran barrio, también! Disfruta!

Honestly, non very attractive from outside but I found amazing good and fresh baklava’s and welcoming personnel. Worth a stop there

George was so amazing what a tentative waiter! He works so hard & made our meal so enjoyable, very friendly and we would highly recommend. Top service! Beautiful food also xx

I went to this venue for a silver wedding anniversary celebration on the afternon on 4th May. The venue is really lovely. There's a great sense of history in the dining area of this former schoolhouse. The food was fabulous and the warm and friendly atmosphere made it rather a magical occasion. I can highly recommend this as a venue to hold an event. Many thanks
