Turned up at the pub. discovered the owner and i shared the same name and believed that we would see eye to eye however...When she looked at me i felt as if my soul had been removed from my body then again if it had that would have been a blessing. she was very rude and abrupt On to the food, the difference between this restaurant and a chip shop is the chip shop give you decent portions of food and it actually comes cooked. i am uncertain if there was a power cut as the lighting was very dim and all food was served cold. if i wanted cold chips i would have ordered them from McDonald's.When we asked for deserts and a cup of tea it felt like the impression was given that we were depriving a child of love.None of the waiting staff looked older than 15 therefore the only bit of eye candy was Craig the other owner. After one glance i knew he wanted it, which was really the only positive memory i would take away from here and take it away i will.Wouldn't even recommend to someone i didn't like.

This was a terrible experience with awful food. When you think the place cant get any worse all of a sudden you meet the owner. She is a heartless, sour faced, rude abomination who doesn't care about anything other than feeding customers food that was cooked a week ago! If I was you I would save the time and not waste your life by going.

2 Jackson StreetI visited the restaurant on Saturday 25th Feb as part of a large group (50+people). Now I understand that 50 people arriving at the same time is a bit of a nightmare but, as I understand it, Marco was given all of our menu choices in advance. Anyway, we arrived at 7pm and received our starter at 8.20pm. This wasn't a huge issue as we were enjoying the company of our friends, however as the night went on it meant that some had finished their meals and others hadn't even had their mains, some never got them and left. The waitresses did their best to calm the waters and generally the mood was OK despite the obvious problems. The food when it did arrive was acceptable, but I had expected slightly better than acceptable to be honest. We asked for parmesan and was told there wasnt any tonight. Some on our table didn't eat their mains as they said it was bland and left before their deserts. As I say, I get 50 people is a bit of a logistical nightmare but surely the restaurant should have been prepared for that? All in all I would advise not to visit if you're in a large group.

56 Market StreetOverpriced. Nice environment but messed up our order, over charged us. Wouldn’t give a drink for their mistake. Shame as good pub but arsey manager.
