Excellent! Welcoming hosts & nothing too much trouble. Food & service were amazing! Huge selection on the menu, large portions, excellent value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, just loved everything about our experience here. We loved it so much, we came back again and it was just as good!! Highly recommend this place, especially the home cooked food.

We brought a friend here for lunch and all thoroughly enjoyed our food. We were a bit late so managed to get a table straight away. We had a lasagne, a chicken curry and the chilli with chips and it was all lovely, homecooked food. We all had dessert too, 2 cheesecake and the apple crumble, which was declared the best one in a long time! The coffee served here is always nice too.

Placed a big breakfast order for the office with baguetty junction and couldn't be happier with the service and food! The whole thing was organised perfectly by the team at baguetty junction and the quality of the breakfast we had for the price we paid was phenomenal! Highly recommend and will be returning in future! J

Before any negatives, this was simply some of the best cake i had ever had in my life, a little expensive, but I guess you get what you paid for. What I cannot fathom in anyway was a couple of the younger staff who clearly didnt want to be there, and didn't want any interaction with the customers, which when your front of house, is only going to lead to issues. Whilst waiting to be served, at least 3 different members of staff came from the back , glanced at me and carried on with what they were doing, i know it was only 30 minutes to close and everyone wants a lively dart, but I was left feeling like i had really put them out.

We needed somewhere welcoming to eat an early dinner prior to going to a show elsewhere in the town, Vasco is excellent. Perhaps more of a bistrot than a restaurant, it is relaxed and welcoming. The food is authentic, freshly prepared and wonderful. We shared a cheese and meat platter to start, followed by the mixed meats skewers. Washed down with a bottle of Portugese white, the bill came to an incredibly reasonable £66. Only problem was that service was slow - long wait for the starter, so we had to rush our food a little. Next time we'll pace that better ... and there will be a next time

Great cafe taken over by friendly new owners April 2025. We arrived about 5pm after a walk up Cnicht and were pleased to see cafe was open. Had savory scones, tea and Bara Brith - all fab. Proprieter said they tend to stay open later when the Croesor car park is busy knowing people will want feeding and watering.
