Let me order and wait for food to be made then at very end told me it was cash only wasted 10 minutes of my life

Good and quick food, quite a large selection, and Charlie is always nice and helpful, I recommend👌🏼👍🏼

Great place shame about the location

I’ve been coming here for years, it’s about time I left a review! 5* from me, the food is consistently very good. The highlight being the breakfasts. The kebabs are great too and are competitively priced. Also their sandwiches beat anything shop bought for the money. Food is ready very quickly, whether you’ve rang ahead or just called in. Handy free parking directly across the road. You will enjoy!

Just had an amazing baked potato with cheese and side salad. Almost equal cheese to potato, and cheese melted under the grill. Great value for money. Love their sausage and onion baps but this may be my new favourite. Always make a detour to eat here if we are in the area, very generous portions and excellent quality and value.

£7 for a small breakfast or nearly £5 for a bacon bap with the cheapest bacon they could find and just tasted like bread, was expecting more than a little cut of bacon for that price, shocking

Charlie's sandwich shop is without doubt the best butty shop in Flintshire.. Charlie has worked so hard - I first met him many many years ago working in Saltney...his work ethic shone back then...it was no surprise he took over this sandwich shop His food is superb his staff are all absolutely lovely The fancy coffee machine he has is amazing - his pizza's are incredible Will update with pictures next time I eat here Keep it up buddy well done 👏

As the title of the review states, lovely food and a lovely welcome. I always get great service and great food here - especially when they respond to my attempts at speaking basic Turkish with their own Welsh phrases. Love it.

Having been given a rebuff from Honey's my cycling colleague and I were looking for a nearby alternative.(you need to eat after 40 miles of cycling). We were pointed in the direction of the Lunch Junction. Although there is only one table it's more a grab and go takeaway. We were made welcome for a sit down meal in the warmth. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The staff were attentive and friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our meals. To top it off the price was half that of nearby establishments. Ten out of ten and definitely a place I will visit again.

Called in for a quick breakfast bap, very friendly staff, clean little takeaway with lots of choices. Was busy but didn't have to wait too long, reasonably priced at £2.80 for a large bap full of sausages. Glad we stopped, will use again in the future.

After visiting Caergrie Castle, we stopped just beneath at a visually unimpressive sandwich cum light meals shop. The small general store next door put us on to it as a good option with their quality and taste rating, telling us not to be put off given its decidedly old fashioned simplicity in appearance. The very personable lady owner told us she begins before opening by cooking fresh chicken, turkey, ham and pork every day. We accordingly each ordered a different large bap sandwich from her equally friendly young man assistant, splitting one Cherry Coke from the glass cold case. I almost never order such sweet carbonated drinks but admittedly it was enjoyable. My wife had a very tender and generously portioned turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato and mayo. I chose the chicken tikka with onions, tomato, lettuce and mayo. Both were so fresh and surprisingly delicious. There were a couple of other options I would readily consider for an easy inexpensive lunch if returning to the area. At L7.80/$11.75. given the quality of ingredients, hospitality, and generosity of portions, the value was outstanding.

Pro's: Breakfast baps are OK. Con's: Poor quality ingredients (especially the meats) Choice of bread - Brown or white baps only. No Baguettes etc Poorly made - Sandwiches thrown together with no attention to detail. Staff only using one glove but two hands! Whats that about??? Staff smoking outside the shop. Coffee is poor. TLJ could be SO SO SO much better. It seems they put quantity over quality which Im guessing some people prefer. To call themselves a Deli is, if I am being honest, quite farcical. Its a shame as I think a quality sandwich shop and real Deli could do quite well in the area.

I'm shocked that I'm the 1st to review! This place is awesome. The food is excellent and not a bad price would highly recommend the breakfast bin lid
