The Saltney Tavern in Flintshire

I've not been in here for years until the other day, but it's good to see that clubs can still keep the price of drinks down if they want to

Brilliant place to have a drink and enjoy your self, absolutely brilliant staff and the beer is always on form . A good bunch of locals, very friendly and always welcoming

Crazy place..felt like I had gone to Colombia 🇨🇴

The Tavern is used for a community venue mainly with music venues, which are well supported. A slimming world venue is set from the main events room. The bars seem to be used on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the venue is very old and doesn't look like it's been updated for decades. It has an old, musty smell of old cigarettes and alcohol. The carpark has so many potholes. It would and is a hassidard at night leaving the venue. It seems the tavern is well used and supported, but updating and refurbishment are not high on the agenda and also hard to use for disabled people.

Best Social Club in North Wales. Great staff and very reasonably priced drinks. Great function room. Even the resident DJ Sam isn’t bad either! 😉🕺🎤

Nice little local. Must be a member.. easy to become one.. staff behind the bar are really nice. Mags. nia. Ian... very friendly. Cheap drinks.. smoking area that is sheltered. Clean.. seperate bar area for quieter evening Function room available . Karaoke nights. Pool tables. Dart board.. large parking area.

Local social club handy for large gathering

Great venue for boxing plenty of tables and chairs around the ring. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the prices for drinks and snacks were affordable.

Brilliant charity night. Queen tribute group. Well organised event. Great staff and great manager 'Ger'. Cant wIt for the next one. 😁😁

, Quite a large function area tables well spaced out so very covid aware, on my first visit staff extremely polite and helpful, I would recommend Saltney Tavern.

All pubs serve alcohol and therfor deserve 5 stars.

Great friendly local customers, and great prices

Its not amazing but its not terrible. It does the job when booking a party. Its free to book but you have to pay for the bar, dj amd bring your own buffet which is pretty standard. Overall its a good place

Nice big room for our function with a raised stage for the DJ above the dance floor. Separate bar with two pool tables. Good range of drinks reasonably priced, staff very accommodating.

The Soul nights @ Saltney Tavern are well attended with a great crowd, there's plenty of car parking space good beer and friendly staff. Just the place to hold an event as the main room is large.

Great place. Lovely staff and very reasonably priced drinks. Top karaoke in the bar on a weekend and great acts in the main hall on special events nights. A must to visit for a great sociable and entertaining night out.

Cheap as chips, and good down to earth, live entertainment.

It’s the people that make a pub great and this is one of them pubs where everyone is welcome It looks are deceiving but rest assured there will be a warm welcome waiting for you.
