Fantastic value stop for a brew and a bap. It gets quite busy but the kitchen is well oiled and churns out your order in very little time.

Dropped by Old Stores Motorbike Café for the MARK - Motorbikes Acts of Random Kindness charity launch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to host it. The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive, making sure everyone felt right at home. It’s clear they’re passionate about the biking community and always up for backing a good cause. The food? Absolutely lush—proper, hearty meals that hit the spot after a long ride. But what really made this place stand out was the hidden gem out the back—I won’t spoil the surprise, but it’s definitely worth checking out for yourself! Can’t wait to go back, whether it’s for another event or just an excuse for a ride and a great meal. If you haven’t been yet, put this café on your list—you won’t regret it!

Amazing find Suits my inner tom boy.. bikes bikes and moe bikes. Breakfast was out of this world.. best beakgast i have had in a while. Easy to find. Carpark for cars over the road. For bikes on site. Recommend

Went for the first time mid march and it wasn’t a disappointment. I had the bikers burger which was fantastic and was the best burger I have had in a long time and was only £8.00. I had a bottle of water so cannot comment on drinks ( although I think there might be free water) fantastic service from the girls and I don’t know how long a i waited as so much to look at Only pain was the 20 mph through the villages although nothing the cafe can do about this. Plus I imagine difficult to find without a route finder

Great motorcycle memorabilia and good food a must if you’re in that area

I have visited this cafe a couple of times now.It is a typical greasy spoon type of place.Prices are reasonable,food is average.There is lots of old riding gear and a few old bikes on display.Great bike only CCTV covered car park.Separate car park for cars across the road.The entrance arrows direct you down steps alongside the river and up steep dangerous steps into the cafe,yet there is far easier access straight into the cafe avoiding the steep steps from the car park but the door says disabled only that way,WHY.The Old stores cafe is a great place to have in Pontblyddyn,as there are very few cafes in the area,and a good place for motorcyclists to meet.

What a lovely little gem for motorcyclists. With so much motorcycle memrobila you can't help but be drawn back to childhood memories (for myself that would be back to the 80s) would have loved to have been able to stop a bit longer to take more of it all in 😁 lovely to sit indoors with an array of dining table n chairs to dine at or comfy sofa n chairs to sit back, relax, enjoy a cuppa whilst watching a bike racing dvd or browse through one of the many magazines available for all to read. If the weather is warmer its great to sit outside with undercover seating next to the stream running alongside below. Friendly staff, food and drinks available which are reasonabily priced, clean toilets with all covid restrictions in place. Ps they prefer cash payments.

Proper old-skool “greasy spoon” - and I mean that in the best possible way! Excellent cooked breakfast, with other (slightly) lighter options available. Plenty of lunch options - sausage & chips, pie, etc. Lovely outdoor seating areas above the river. Really atmospheric environment with all the memorabilia. Brilliant place.

Found this cafe from a Facebook advert. The food is great and reasonably priced. Staff are also friendly and polite. Would highly recommend

Such a quirky cafe. Loved the decor of the old bikes Staff were great and food was nice for a great price. Nice by the river for summer Only down side is the steps/ramps to get in but this is ok if you take your time

Warm & Cosey in winter, outdoor riverside seating for summer, Plenty of Memorabilia to look at, lots of friendly like minded people to chat to. More than just a cafe. Dedicated Motorcycle parking, car parking too. Reasonably priced food & drinks.

If you’re looking for a good breakfast experience, this spot is a hidden gem! The food was excellent and satisfying—truly a great way to start the day. What made it even better was the unique and relaxed ambience; dining amidst motorbike memorabilia added a quirky charm that enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike would enjoy. The service was prompt and friendly, . As for the price, it was more than reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and experience. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped off here today for breakfast and really enjoyed it, large breakfast with tea or coffee for £9 and worth every penny! Friendly service, great tasting food and a awesome location if your into motorbikes, 10/10 from me thank you very much 👍🏻

Went today the 19th December 24 for the first time and was really impressed, loads of motorcycling and motoring memorabilia, met two really fascinating older guys had a good ol chat ect ,will be definitely going back some time soon ,highly recommend a visit

Visited the old stores today and loved it, from the atmosphere of the place through to the friendly ladies taking orders and serving the food, the place is very clean and well managed, we went in the car today as opposed to previously when we went on the motorbike, either way there's plenty of parking. Thanks until next time we visit.

Popped in after driving past so many times but now you have a cars only car park it’s so easy. Looking at the memorabilia it’s like a mini museum. Tea & coffee was exactly that and was so quick. My cake was delicious & husband enjoyed his eggs on toast. As a definite none biker I still really enjoyed the cafe. Lovely atmosphere. We’ll be back. Beautiful setting.

Always a warm welcome, nice food, reasonable prices, great venue, plenty of seating inside & out, large secure car park for bikes only. Great olat to head to or stop at whilst passing through. Loads of Memorabilia, like a mini museum, not many motorcycle cafes like this.

First visit to this cafe set within a motorcycle haven. We had not visited before due to parking for cars being an issue however a new car park across the road is now available. There is still the motorbike parking next to the cafe. Situated next to a lovely stream there is seating under cover outside overlooking the stream and wooded valley. Inside there is so much memorabilia you don’t know where to look first. We had just arrived after a large party so had to wait as the kitchen was very busy but we only waited 20 minutes till we could order. That 20 minutes flew by as we looked at the items on display. We have an all day breakfast and pie and chips. The food was very good and served quickly. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere in the family run cafe. The prices were really good and definitely value for money. Definitely recommend a visit and will be visiting again.

Fantastic! Anyone in the area with any interest in bikes needs to visit here. In terms of atmosphere and ambience this was already a great, but combine that with decent quality food for a really competitive price and you have an absolute winner. On my last visit, all-day breakfast with a bottle of diet coke came to £9 and was served in about 20 mins despite us ordering during the breakfast rush. The time before that, baked potatoes with plenty of fresh salad for about £7 each. Plenty of food choices and a decent parking area for bikes. Well located for onward travel up-towards the Horseshoe Pass or Corwen/Bala. This has been my second visit of what I'm sure will be many more in the future 😁 Plus you get to meet some of the friendliest ducks anywhere 😅 Great stuff!

All of my motorbikes are in storage in Australia. However, I did, single handedly, rescue your appalling summer! Sunshine! Sadly, I had to drive here but glad I did. Family run, epic business. I had a big brekkie n coffee here and enjoyed the banter, food, coffee and memorabilia! Would return in a heartbeat.

First time visit, rode past many times onto another well known biker cafe meeting place. Will definitely stop here more often now. Lots of memorabilia in here, wife spotted our first helmets brand and model. Always packed with 🏍 and bikers on weekends.

I have nothing but glowing praise for the Old Stores Biker Cafe. I ride all the way from Lincolnshire every month spring to Autumn to visit this place. I love riding to this cafe. Great food and great prices. They keep the prices affordable but with good quality. Can't wait to visit again.

Love the bikes and motorcycle gear that they have dotted around, lovely sheltered area outside if you fancy it by a little stream, staff and food are fab too

Quirky biker cafe with lots of biking memorabilia. Plenty of seating inside and out. Outside area by the river very pleasant. Had the bacon and sausage baps which were lovely and good value. Staff all pleasant. Don't be put off by the fact it's a bikers cafe, everyone is welcome.

We have been wanting to call in for a long time living just a few miles up the road but apart from my lad enjoying the bikes on show and memorabilia it was a big let down. The burger was poorest quality I have had since school and was left after a few bites. The sausages my daughter had not far behind.... don't think I have ever seen her leave them after a few bites before. Stick to ships and you will be OK though.

Decided to check out the Cafe on my day off and I wasn't disappointed. Large designated parking area for the bikes and plenty of seating outside and in. I enjoyed looking around at wall to wall motorcycle paraphernalia while I ate. I liked the menu choices and the prices were reasonable. The food was good and served hot. The staff and even the other bikers were friendly. A great cafe with a great vibe. I'm definetly going back.

Never been here before, brilliant location! Someone has made a brilliant effort to make the place look great. Next to river. Was just really disappointed with the food and coffee.... Coffee was a powdered latte and the quality of the food was very poor, especially the cheap sausages. Disappointed as the location was brill.

Great find and a lovely ride out from Telford about 54 miles. 1 minor point could have had better quality sausages.. if that's all I've got to moan about, . But genuinely a lovely place to visit. Cheers 😎👍☕

Best motorbike cafe in the whole of Wales

Lovely unique and quirky cafe, catering primarily to the motorcycle community. Inside is a museum of motorcycle memorabilia. Only criticism I'd make guys is PLEASE PLEASE buy better quality brown sauce and better quality sausages, these white processed chicken skin cheap catering sausages ruin a breakfast

Awesome little place right next to the river. Great for bikers or motorbike enthusiasts. Lots of memorabilia all around the cafe that it could be listed as a museum. So much to look at! Can sit inside or outside. Disabled access or you can go down the steps. Parking outside and additional parking across the road. Reasonable prices for food, and yummy, too!

Motorcycle enthusiast's dream cafe, worth visiting, they even leave wooden blocks in the carpark for motorbike side stands, especially helpful in summer on hot tarmac.

Just had a cuppa.Great atmosphere, food looked delicious..almost as delicious as the motorcycle s outside.

First time visit,friendly staff and lovely bacon butty. Its a must for motorcycle lovers as its full of memorabilia. But a great spot for anyone to stop at especially sat outside next to a stream

Brilliant place, lots of interesting bike related things to look at. The breakfast was good but personally I would have preferred different sausages, Lincolnshire or something and pay a bit more.
