Kassidy's in Flintshire

We had breakfast at Kassidys this morning. It was delicious. Very dog friendly. Boris our Labrador loved his doggy sausage. Great value for money.

Lovely tea room very popular with the old folk. Me. Always a smile from the staff, and we were served by a lovely looking lady I've not seen before. Nice eyes. Think I'll go back soon. The food is delicious and good portion sizes. Had liver n onions this week. Lovely jubbly. Pop in, you won't be disappointed. (Can i have a free coffee for this recommendation?)

Really lovely food and very friendly service.

First time I'd been there and was extremely satisfied with everything. My dog was made welcome as well.

Stopped here on the way to Conwy for a bite to eat. Already checked it out on line before we set off. Didn't disappoint. Very polite staff and lovely food. Highly recommend 😁👍

A lovely tea room in Holywell, serving good quality food.

I recently had the most delicious beef roast dinner at Kassidy's. I don't eat roast potatoes, so Christine gave me extra vegetables. I can recommend all the meals. Whilst I was there, an elderly gentleman was raving about the ploughman's lunch he had just eaten. He said that so few serve it these days. The drinks and cakes are delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, plus it's dog friendly and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended.

Definitely a spot for locals. I just popped in for a cold lunch and cuppa. Took _ages_ to get a very mediocre ploughman's lunch. On the other hand, the people were super-friendly. There is also some talent in the art gallery, which I appreciated.

A wonderful traditional café on the High Street. Staff you can have banter with, good service and a friendly chat. Food is always tasty, piping hot and quickly prepared. I thoroughly recommend Kassidys as the place to go. Beryl is the best waitress there.

Lovely little place in Holywell. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are exceptional and really good value, but I was let down by the temptation of their gorgeous-looking cherry and marzipan slices and it was too much to resist. Highly recommended.

I've started going here every Saturday for the roast dinner. Varies between Chicken, beef or Lamb. Really tasty food, cooked perfectly, and excellent quality. Desserts are lovely too, proper pancakes! Lovely staff to top it off. Great little cafe.

Nice little tea rooms/cafe on Holywell High Street. Staff very friendly & helpful. Menu what you'd expect with plenty of choice. Food though was great. Tasty, hot and plenty of it too.

Very slow service initially, but the food came quickly, the portions were massive and the food was good. Not very healthy, but certainly did the job. We would definitely visit again, and maybe just have cake next time!

Wow so if I'm honest never been a fan of Holywell always felt its a bit run down, however this place is amazing little find, it not only is clean and bright but warm friendly atmosphere. The food is great and value for money, the service is great to. Only down side is please severe both meals together I was waiting 5min more for mine, rather send them out together

Had a hole in my stomach and now it's filled. Clean well cooked breakfast. Staff are very professional and a really nice relaxed atmosphere.

If you want a lovely cup of coffee when out an about then this is the place to go, food is also very good

On my visit to Kassidys tea room. My first visit was very friendly l had a pot of tea, and a Beef Burger, chips,onion rings and salad etc. Large portion quite nicely cooked and plated up. 4 star. Since then I have had & enjoyed many Gorgeous Special of the day meals at Kassidys Tea Room. As a retired London Chef l really have been impressed by the friendly staff,and Good home cooked style Roast dinners & other selective meals on offer ECT. I have also been very impressed with the fresh made cakes & Gateau's on offer. Including fresh baked scones cream teas. All in All, a very enjoyable meal in a very friendly & well kept diner. I admit I have now become friends with the proprietors and staff.Since I have been going there for so long now. But because Everyone in there is so helpful and friendly .It dose not seem to take long to become part of the family Lol. Obviously with the Covid19 worries,safe distancing is in operation at all times. Highly recommended meals at a more than friendly prices Try, See & Enjoy!!. -------------------------------------------------------------------

It was ok, food decent. Old fashioned.

Just went for a cheese and ham toasty taking time about over 15 minutes it was nice. But to long it wasn’t busy.

We go in here quite often. Local and well placed in the town centre. Good parking. The staff are nice and always greet with a smile. During winter I found it quite cold, and actually ate with my coat on. I think it must get hot in the kitchen, but we're not getting it out here. Sometimes, during a quiet period, it can be extremely quiet, like a surgery waiting room. Some background music wouldn't go amiss. Anyway, the food is good, tasty and good value for money. Service is usually fast and correct, except for last week, when I didn't get what I ordered, and that was after a twenty minute wait. The only thing different that day was the man in the kitchen wasn't there. I'd go, if I were you. It's a lovely place, and we all have off days.

We visited kassidy's after seeing it featured on a local news item. Both of us had breakfast, which was tasty and very good value. Service was friendly and efficient. We've never been there before, as it doesn't look very welcoming from the outside, but will definitely be going back. There were plenty of customers, so maybe the owners don't feel they need any advice, but here goes....we would have visited before if we could have seen from the street what the cafe is like inside. The windows are obscured by the window blinds and by condensation. If you could just give the windows a wipe now and then so that people could see in it would be so much more inviting!

Love this place, it's very friendly and inviting. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The food is prepared fresh for you so be prepared for a little wait during busy periods, it is worth the wait though. Everything is very good value and includes specials. Would highly recommend this cafe.

Roast dinner for five fifty big plate to plus large filter coffee at one pound twenty five can't get that at costa for that price well worth it

Today I visited this wee cafe wae ma daughter. It was a wee delight. Welcoming staff and I couldn’t have been happier wae the service. The lunch we had was top class. Not to say about the milkshakes totally Delicious. 100% recommend you visit this cafe when visiting Holywell :-)

Call in most weekends for filling breakfast and sometimes bacon and egg sandwich with milky coffee.. always excellent food .always hot.. sometimes little wait depending on tome of day..but worth the wait..staff always happy smiling and will go out of their way to help..well worth a visit

Have visited Kassidys in the past and it was okay my wife loved it and the kids eat their food. We were back in the area today went to the well and came back here as my wife was keen to go there (not so much me).We went in the place was busy staff were stood around the till area chatting away. All the empty tables were littered with plates with food on them or occupied.Wife went to a table for four but it had gravy on the chairs and tablecloth- plate of food and gravy all over the table. I was less keen to sit down. I went to the toilet which had no hand dryer and a towel for you to dry your hands on (not single use not hygenic). Toilet was reasonably clean. Came out and saw by the door a couple of bait traps ! that was enough for me. I sat down, table still had plates on it staff had still not cleaned it or the other dirty tables,Eventually waitress came over (don't know were the supervision was ? these people could not be bothered serving or doing anything) were we ready to order I said "No" I told my wife about the bait traps - I saw the other tables covered with old food cutlery. Thought perhaps not got up and walked out !The staff were less than attentative, couldnt be bothered clearing tables or doing much except for standing chatting.Place was a mess carpet was dirty old and pretty yukky …My wife posted a review which was a fair account of the place today this was followed by another post of someone with 9 reviews stating the place was amazing short time later .. a bit strange ??? ?? ?? perhaps look for yourself ….It might be amazing for some Im sure Chicken Dinners for £5.40 special is a god send to some people but not to me - what might be special for some might not be special to others ..This place was awful today I had to give it one star that was for the waitress bothering to even come over to our table at all ! Avoid … or as I always say try it for yourself …"Caveat emptor "

Came today with my family, as we came last year and it was so nice,but today was awfull, we drove from liverpool and we walked in all table were full if empty plates, we waited no body came to ask if we wanted a table so we sat at a dirty one, i dident sit as my chair was full of chicken and gravy, we waited ages the place was filthy, so we got up and walked out, i would not have my kitchen or dining room in that state were my kids are discusting !! Will not be returning !! Very dissapointed !!!! Staff need to clean up instead of leaving dirty dishes everywere was vile !!!

The cost is next to nothing...and a very friendly, patient staff! Nothing is too much.Such a lovely, unique, tasteful and clean environment! Came across this Cafe whilst passing through Holywell and I must say its probably the best Cafe here. The staff are exceptional, they are attentive and friendly and cater to your every wish.

I visited here to meet up with a friend from out of town and knew this would be a perfect place to get a good cuppa and fresh food. There is a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, attentive and looked very happy. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little cafe with excellent staff.

Friendly service and good food. Paninis, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, a range of main meals (and starters) and a great selection of desserts, including freshly made pancakes. A number of different table sizes means they can cater for different group sizes. Very popular with locals and visitors, so don't expect to dash in and out at busy times. I'm looking forward to returning.

I have visited a few times recently usually in a group. The place is very welcoming and the staff accommodating The food is cooked to order so there is a slight delay but the quality is worth waiting for ! There is a good range of meals including an all day breakfast and a special. Everything is reasonably priced including hot drinks and cakes.

Estaba en la calle Holywell winifreds retomando. Cafetería local estaba cerrado, así que fuimos a Holywell. Encontramos esta tetería en la calle principal ordenados varios sándwiches tostados y comidas y bebidas para niños. Todo fresco y servido por un personal educado y servicial. Como todo está hecho comida fresca agradable y bebidas calientes y una buena relación calidad-precio visitará de nuevo cuando esté en la zona. Gracias. . .

Una cálida y agradable bienvenida, ocupado dentro, así claramente popular con la gente y un buen menú, pero el café usado en mi capuchino probado antiguo y rancio. ¿Qué calidad de granos no usan! ! ! ? Una solución simple a fuente frijoles café mejor haría que este el lugar a donde ir.

Encontré por casualidad mientras de Kassidy caminando a través de Holywell, así que de haberlo hecho, nos preguntamos si nuestro pequeño Terrier de Norfolk fue bienvenido, que él era así que entramos y hicieron que nuestra orden. Cuando llegó la comida estaba caliente y bien preparado, incluso nos dieron una salchicha para nuestro perro. El café era limpia, luminosa y agradable para comer, una visita obligada en Holywell, personal parece que se esfuerzan en hacer su estancia tan agradable como sea posible.

I have frequented Kassidy's a number of times over the last few years. Each time, the staff have gotten my orders wrong. I have asked for my hot drink to be brought with the meal, the drink is brought over within five minutes therefore, my drink is stone cold by the time my meal arrives. I have had problems with my hot food also being cold, the staff can never remember what has been ordered even though they have written everything down. My daughter who is vegetarian, ordered scrambled egg on toast and a sausage for her dog. Three times, my daughter had to repeat the order. Her meal was eventually given to her after thirty minutes. It consisted of, scrambled egg, sausage, and bacon on toast!!! When my daughter complained, the waitress took the meal away and returned with the same plate after removing the bacon and sausage. My daughter informed them that she could see the fat juice from the bacon over the egg and yet again, explained that she could not eat that as she is vegetarian. My daughter was then told that they were too busy to cook another meal and that she would be charged for the coffee and the sausage for the dog.. The food is good, however, the service is extremely poor, the waitresses are always getting the orders wrong and the service is very slow.. I'm afraid that in future, Kassidy's is off my list of places to eat..

Comer en un presupuesto, tener un buen servicio al cliente, desde el personal y disfrutar de comida casera, recién hecho. No calientan basura aquí. Te dejan intercambiar sobre lo que le gustaría en los desayunos, (tener demasiadas de esas...) sentir bienvenido y no te sientes incómodo ir solos para un buen brunch tranquilo. Mucho mejor que en la carretera Wetherspoons en términos de precio y calidad de comida.

Not sure if new account made for this cafe as I know I've reviews it before but the review is no longer shown. I ate and drank here once and due to rudeness of staff mixed with apathy and lack of produce vowed never to return.May be the recent reviews show the improvement and mine is outdated-hope so, but I'll not be back

My wife and I go to Kassidy's at least 3 times a week, the food is well prepared, the homemade cakes are wonderful. The café is clean and well looked after, it feels like home from home.
