The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wales

Got to say the food and staff were amazing,we all really enjoyed thanks will definitely be back soon....

Two of us visited Tal Y Cafn on a Saturday night for dinner, we prebooked The restaurant itself is lovely, cosy and welcoming For starters I ordered the deep fried brie, and my partner ordered the soup of the day - tomato The brie was only melted slightly, the middle was still raw cheese. Although I thought it odd, I didn’t think anything of it until the table next to us complained about the same issue My partner’s soup tasted very strong of coriander. Not a hint of tomato. We questioned whether it was carrot and coriander, we were told it was tomato and coriander? Not heard of that concoction before We believe the waitress was talking about us after we queried the soup as different members of staff were looking over at us, not looking happy. Not sure why as we were very polite and didn’t kick up a fuss For mains I had the fish and chips, my partner had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. My fish was a bit greasy, although the chips were lovely. We had a side of onion rings, too much batter and there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl For dessert we both ordered the chocolate fudge cake which took 30 minutes to arrive. Both came with pouring cream, not ice cream as per the menu. The waitress bought over some ice cream after we queried it. The fudge cake was nice Overall, the food was nice although 4 dishes weren’t cooked properly or correct. The service wasn’t the best. I don’t think we’d come here again unfortunately

El personal aquí es siempre amable y servicial. Los cócteles son increíbles, especialmente el martini de chocolate. Visitamos aquí cada vez que venimos a Cardiff y sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita. ¡No se puede salir de noche en Cardiff sin un cóctel de Martini Sucio!

Lovely seating area out the front, catches the sun

Decent pub with pool table - great selection of drinks and friendly staff and locals. We felt immediately at home and had we not other plans the food we saw looked great. I would eat there.

We found another little gem of a place here, to meet up and have a great pint with friends

Live music last Saturday loved the atmosphere no problem getting a table

Fantastic lunch. Great personal friendly service. Lovely and clean with a chilled atmosphere. A hidden gem of a garden in the sun. Definitely be back.

Classic traditional village pub. Sunday lunch was amazing!!!. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the prices were very reasonable. The pub has recently come under new ownership and the new owner is breathing new life into the place.

I called in with my parents on a Wednesday night. Do no pass this pub up, the food is all homemade and so delicious (the chips are amazing) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We visited while on holiday and hope that next time we're in the area, the pub is open so we can visit again. Thank you so much for a lovely evening out

Terrible. Gastó 11 libras. 00 hoy a las 12. 10 pidió una bolsa hoy servida por un muchacho joven y simplemente tiraron la comida en el mostrador, tomaron el pago y luego al siguiente cliente... Tuve que embolsarlo yo mismo donde como solían hacerlo lo hacían más fácil. . . . . . . . Sucedió hace dos semanas... Mal servicio al cliente

The Trap is a great looking pub which only falls down because it's so small, but that's probably for the best as it was quite quiet when we visited. Music was much too loud for such a small pub and we eventually left as my head was spinning from the noise. Drinks were ok and well priced. Staff were polite.

Staff are always attentive Landlord and landlady run a clean pub Good selection of beers Good entertainment

Ordered 2 fish lunches (specials) instead of having draught coke we had cans instead which they charged an extra £7 without mentioning that there would be an extra charge, the women on till very abrupt peas stone cold &bread stale never use again .

Came here after reading about their burgers online while staying in a local lodge, fair play the burger lives up to it's name. The portions were very generous and the burger was hands down the best I've had.
