Great pub, great food . Clean tidy and welcoming.

Called in on a Sunday and had lunch. Food was lovely and generous portions. Great atmosphere.

Very lovely food and good staff all the time few minutes with Andrew very pleasant

Not the best experience! Service was a bit short but looked single handed. Food was average but could have been hotter. Better places in town for the prices.

Service was fairly miserable. If food is on appears to be a choice based on how much money they will make from you. Food was served slowly and cold. Not all food arrived at once. Certainly no service with a smile.

Came here for the first time in years and it's still a good place to go for a drink. Small inside the pub but the seating are down the side it's good.

Popped into the bull today on our way through Llangollen and was served by a women (I think her name was Leah) she was warm welcoming and more then happy to help 10/10 would come back again!

Hands down the best Sunday dinner in Llangollen.Coudn't recommend it more.Froendly staff lovely atmosphere.

Really impressed with the family Sunday lunch we ordered, good traditional food cooked to perfection. It was also a treat to have 'real home cooked chips' with the scampi that my son ordered rather than the frozen chips often served in many establishments. I think the Bull must have changed hands from the last time we visited as I don't remember food being served and the interior looked much fresher with new furniture in the front bar and fresh flowers in the window. We were drawn to the Bull because of the beautiful flower displays and fresh flowers in the window. The staff were helpful too, would definitely have Sunday lunch there again.

Dan the barman was very helpful and knowledgeable on our Saturday evening visit, will definitely be calling in again

I note that most reviews who rate the Bull Inn with 5 stars a generally made only one or two contributions which makes me a bit suspicious because their opinions are completely different to my own experience. We normally go to The Corn Mill when visiting Llangollen but they were not serving food on the day we were there so we had to look elsewhere and came across the Bull Inn. Initially we sat in the rear 'garden' (actually a small patio with 3 or 4 tables) because it was a nice day but it was filthy with dirty tables and cigarette ends everywhere so we moved indoors to the back bar area. Most of the sparse furniture in there was worn out but it was a bit cleaner although it does need refurbishment. The front bar was much smarter with comfortable chairs but most tables were taken. When getting some drink I asked for a menu from behind the bar I was advised that meals would take about 40 minutes after ordering which was surprising because there were only a few others eating. After looking at the very limited menu we decided it wasn't what we were hoping for so we drank up and left. In a popular and busy tourist town like Llangollen I can't understand why Marstons don't consider it worthwhile investing in a pub like the Bull and giving it a complete makeover because I'm sure it would attract more customers, especially with a better food offering.

Went today was really disappointed. Ordered pea and mint soup fish and chips my partner ordered mixed grill. The main meal came with no soup the barmaid offered to go find out what happened to it, I said it didn't matter as I ordered it as a starter .She refunded the money for the soup. The fish and chips were drenched in fat the chips were saturated all the way through. The mixed grill poor quality meat full of fat . Would not recommend this place for food.

Came for a little girls break in Llangollen and stumbled across this gem of a pub. Walked in and they had 80's music playing and we ordered a bottle of wine..which was only £13..which anyone who has visited Llangollen is ridulously cheap. Bar staff where so welcoming, we had the best time here and will make this our regular when we visit, such a lovely friendly atmosphere.

2 lovely roast dinners, compliments to the chef. Would highly recommend.

Nice place, narrow room well decorated and presented. Usual tap beers with one real ale available. Staff were friendly and the beer was excellent. Enjoyed my visit.

The staff were a little brusque initially, but the food was very nice. Tasted like homemade & we didn't have to wait too long. Well priced.

Quiz night was fun. Only had drinks . Found their outside space looking forward to a warm evening to enjoy the area later in the year.

High street boozer that serves food. Pub is standard fare but outside is nice. Sheltered and heated outside area with pool table and big screen sports. 🎱

Poor organisation when ordering food. Lots of items missing from meals and some not available which we were told about half an hour after ordering food. Food came after a long wait, substitutes given on meals when items not available, but not told about. Food cold, unappetising and over priced. Plenty of other places to eat that were so much better!

Went today for Sunday Dinner Absolutely beautiful dinner I had Beef which melted in the mouth ,Vegetables were cooked perfectly and plenty of them to new potatoes and Roast potatoes to ,My wife had a small turkey roast which was just as nice ,can highly reccomend for Sunday dinner and no need to book great service and friendly staff to .Will definitely be going back

My partner Mark treated me to a surprise Sunday dinner. I thought we were just popping in for a quick drink. We both were glad we did. The food was plenty, delicious and hot. Well done to the chef. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back again soon.
