Use to go here regularly. Massive price hike over the last 2 years. Was stood waiting for a drink for about 5 minutes when staff where sat down talking to each other. This was the day time. Lovely little pub just service on that day wasn't up to par

I absolutely love this traditional pub in the heart of Denbigh. Emma, the new landlady, is doing a fantastic job, following in the footsteps of her Gran who ran the pub for over 30 years. Always a lovely warm welcome, and the beer is a great price.

We were on holiday in denbigh and we were advised the Plough was a good place to visit and we were glad we did the food was great and reasonably priced,pub very clean and staff very helpful, WE would have returned but things conspired that made it imposible to do so. {That is another very long story nothing to do with the Pub}

Been to a couple of pub quizzes, moderately challenging but will struggle to hear questions as they don't have a microphone

Nice relaxing place to drink on weekday afternoons and evenings. Bit noisier on Saturday evening. They don't serve food but do lovely brown barm cakes full of cheese and onion behind the bar. All the locals in there are friendly and so is the manageress Christine and her family. Beer is also good. Only 4 stars cause no hot food

On our first walk around Denbigh a mini pub crawl took shape and PT :-) and I found ourselves wandering into The Plough along the high street. Considering it was a weekend evening we were surprised to find the pub empty, but delighted that the friendly barmaid was happy to cater to our musical taste. We enjoyed the beer and the company and decided to pop back a few weeks later to find it much busier with the hustle and bustle of local flavour. We will definitely be in again. SW :-)

Went in for a quick drink, the atmosphere was good, lots of drink choices which Mike behind the bar was really great with helping us decide what to have. We will definitely be visiting again when we are back in Wales.

So lovely warm greeting I ordered two strong hot chocolates and a round of Welsh cakes which was duly served and the hot chocolate was nice a strong full of flavour. The staff were friendly chatty and took genuine interest in who you were. I would highly recommend this cafe

We came to sweet daisy for ice cream after a meal at the pub. There were eight of us so a big order. The man who served us was lovely, smiley and patient. There was a long queue forming behind us but we didn’t feel rushed. The ice creams were delicious and my sister said ‘felt like they went on forever’ 😍 which is quite the compliment! I had a rocky road and it was the best most delicious ice cream I’ve had all summer. Thank you.
