The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in West Wales

We visit the village twice a year staying at a cottage near by, but the b&b facilities in both The new inn & The tannat valley public houses are excellent. If you want a great dining experience then look no further than THE NEW INN the meals are all home cooked (no ding ding meals) prices are very very reasonable, portion sizes are big and real ale is available as well what a bonus. We have been going 16 years now and intend going for a long time,, we are treated as locals but so are all visitors. In closing all I can say is give the place a go you will not be disappointed.

After a few days camping in a field in Cwympengraig we chanced on Emlyn Hotel. The Bistro was recommended so we gave it a try. I was delighted that the cod was in gluten free batter. It was perfectly cooked and a generous portion. The Lentil and Spinach burger was good, but was a curry flavour. I like curry, but was going more for a classic taste that night and it didn't say that it was a curry burger. Having said that the gluten free roll was excellent and from a local baker and the triple cooked chips were fantastic. My husband had the welsh cake stack with Penderyn Ice cream and maple syrup. He said it was utterly delicious!

Would never recommend this place to anyone, was ment to have been a fun staff party but turned out to be a complete let down, drag queens or drag or drag something accused one of the party of being drunk when actually she was blind. Food was cheaper that cheap and cook and staff vaping in the cooking area.we got over charged for 2 people and staff just awful. Stay away this place is a shambles !!!!!!!!

I took my elderly parents 91 and 90 to the White Hart Thatched Inn in Llanddarog today 20/4/25 for lunch. My mother who is 90 wanted to buy the drinks as she’s never ordered drinks at a bar before so she ordered 1 soda water and blackcurrant, 2 soda waters and lime and 1 half a beer shandy. She was charged £14.85 for the 4 drinks. As I drink soda water regularly I’ve never paid more than £1/£1.50 a drink. £14.85 for the 4 drinks is extortionate. Needless to say we did not stay to buy lunch. How awful to rip off an old lady

Awful place, every time I visit tables are cluttered with dirty pots, the barista area is filthy and covered in coffee grounds and they were in my drink.no interaction between staff and customer, very poor customer skills

I spent £11.00 in here for fish and chips and they were absolutely awful. The fish was cooked so much that it was hard to bite through the batter, which was mainly hollow - so not sure where the fish had gone. The chips were a combination of poor potatoes covered in eyes and some were green. Others looked like they had been though the fryer several times already, smelt and tasted greasy. Even my dogs wouldn't eat them. Truly dreadful.

We booked at table for 7:15, and received confirmation. But when we arrived we were told the kitchen had closed at 6 and the kitchen staff had all been sent home.

Just met up with friends for coffee in Haverfordwest Costa drive-thru. We were having such a good catch up decided to stay for brunch. Coffee and food OK - but ... we went over the 90mins allowed in the car park and now I can expect a £100 fine!!! Staff at store rude and unhelpful .Costa - what a shameful way to treat your customers.

tried all the different dishes , pizza, kebab, burgers, chicken, not disappointed at all and if we have to wait to long for delivery normally get a free pop or something, highly recommend

Food Quality good. Older blond lady at the till is always grumpy, no smile. Been served by her many times and always the same. No customer service skills

I love this Starbucks, it's spacious and clean, although it could do with a refurb as the toilets are not the best. However, the staff today were lovely, in particular Pete and Ella ( I think that's their names), were super friendly and accommodated my weird order. I spent the entire morning here, and will probably stay all day as its a great environment to continue my studies.

Absolutely horrendous attitude from the women who served us, bought an ice-cream for my daughter and asked for sprinklers which she replied it's 50p extra; when the gentleman who served us the other week gave it for free for us, kept repeating it was 50p extra . We said all ok just went pay only mentioned that last time gentlemen have not charged us. She did not like that. She through the cookie and was saying that our attitude stinks then she walked off and In corridor where other people started to say about our attitude . when we only said that we before we have not needed to pay. We only wanted to double check. We was shocked with this lady's behaviour and how unprofessional she was! I don't think she should work with people if she can't have just a normal conversation! So rude!!

Great spot for some grub. We had burgers which were fantastic and good sized portions too. Kids had pizza which were freshly made. Reasonable priced and nice beach theme inside.

Cafe was ok, Gary at customer services is the most rude, arrogant, viscous person at this store… he definitely needs sacking!

Food is hit and miss, toast is either cremated or warm bread! Service is also hit and miss, sometimes waiting ages in an empty restaurant. Lucky if you get a spoon let alone one each! Cleaning leads a lot to be desired, many trips here and always have to clean the table and cutlery.
