Big Bite Cafe & Take Away in Carmarthenshire

tried all the different dishes , pizza, kebab, burgers, chicken, not disappointed at all and if we have to wait to long for delivery normally get a free pop or something, highly recommend

Really good food delivered, first time I’ve had a kebab and the chips actually be really decent! Would definitely recommend!

Visited after reading the reviews on here. Wasn't disappointed. Staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. I'm a mushroom lover but hate when places deep fry them.. but this place cooks them on a hot plate. The bacon was really thick and generous helpings. Comes with a free tea, coffee, apple or orange juice..we both had a coffee which was really nice.. and I class myself as a but of a coffee snob! Will definitely be returning.

We called in for breakfast. Although the cafe was empty we ere not allowed to bring our dog in. Apparently the owner did not like it. Breakfast was very average. Only white bread for the toast, no decaf coffee. On the plus side the bacon was good and car parking was easy

Really enjoyed our breakfast in the cafe this morning. Food came really quickly, it was hot and very tasty. Great value too. Staff friendly and polite, and we were impressed how clean everything was. Would definitely come back again.

Never again will I order food here. This is the 3rd time in a row the food has taken 2 hrs to be delivered by which time it was cold and soggy and this time absolutely dripping in grease. Couldn’t or even wouldn’t want to eat the chips, you could pour the grease out of the tray. Disgusting!! What another waste of £20 for 2 medium kebab meat and chips. Not happy!

Dreadful wait, dreadful staff service, dreadful prices, even worse food. Waited an hour for our order, despite staff serving food to customers who arrived well after us, when I complained the server kept saying I’d been told there was a wait, but she couldn’t get her head around The fact that others who’d arrived after us were served first. When our order did arrive it was wrong entirely, plain toast (nope), vegetarian sausages (nope), no mushrooms (nope) etc etc. I appreciate it’s a greasy cafe, but still the quality of the food was appalling!! To say the least, lowest possible quality imaginable, to the point of we didn’t even finish what we could eat. No one wearing masks, staff or customers, we had to clean our own table and even then they didn’t come to disinfect it. Cutlery in ‘help yourself’ trays with everyone dipping in despite Covid!! I usually like to end a review with something positive, but as for Big Bite there are no redeeming qualities, avoid, and go around the corner to Cafe Jas, better quality, better staff, better food.

Ordered at 7:15, was supposed to be delivered at 8, food came 10:40 , was cold and didn’t have the correct toppings. Phoned up at 9 to complain and was told that the driver had broken down on the way. When the food got here he said he was sorry he was late but the driver had a gall stone. Won’t be eating there again.

I order once a week but the last year food as gone bad under cooked getting orders wrong it’s a shame as once was great take away

I have used this place several times in the past and the food has always been great. However, on this occasion I ordered fried chicken to take away and it was awful. The chicken was just dripping in oil and I ended up throwing it away. Perhaps they were busy or new staff but I was bitterly disappointed. Never again.

Food was lovely, great staff and cracking prices. This meal was great on my taste buds and my wallet. Top Marks

Food from this place is literally heaven, I have never received such good quality food for the price! Staff was friendly (Someone could learn a lesson from these lot on what it means to have polite service!)
