My daughter and I popped up to the coffee shop last night after doing a spot of shopping. We had looked beforehand to see what time they closed and it said 8pm. We went in about 6.40, we ordered our drinks and sat down, having a lovely chat and the lady came over to us at 7pm and said that we are closing inside now so we had to go, assuming we could sit outside but it was a bit chilly so ended up taking my unfinished hot chocolate to the car to finish off. They could of said this before I ordered and state clearly online that the shop closes at 7pm not 8pm (I am assuming this is just the drive though).

As a regular user, I find the staff friendly and efficient, serving great coffee Update- what has happened to the standards! After complaining about 2 cups, he gave up and just threw the 3rd alway as it was undrinkable! And this was not the first time! At nearly £4 a cup you should be able to rely on consistency?

Be aware this Costa isn't where it's stating on the map it is further down the road just off the roundabout before the hospital.

Very dirty and grubby, floor lots of food debris, seating had crumbs etc on, tables hadn’t been wiped. Serving area very disorganised and was dirty. Certainly not conditions for a hospital environment.

Decided to sit in for coffee, (Withybush) Staff not interested in serving me I waited ages, yet there were 4 behind the counter chatting. Not even an acknowledgement, until one decided I had stood there long enough and said ' I won't be a minute' think she was the only one doing any work.

Stopped in this Costa to take my son to the toilet, it was 10am on a Sunday morning, quiet, and I was shocked at the state the toilets were in. They looked like they had been open all night for the local youth to use, after using the toilet I ordered coffees and asked the staff if they had checked the toilets that morning to which they replied they had not. Whilst waiting for my coffee I couldn’t help but recognise the store behind the counter was absolutely stinking too. Coffee all over the floor, dirty rags on the floor. Milk jugs which had gone off. I assume left from the day before. Empty bottles on the side and just a general lack of organisation, I did comment to a member of staff that the store was dirty and she just said “I know” and looked at me blankly. The coffees I brought then tasted weak and sour. I will never visit this Costa again. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. That’s how bad this store was.

Went here at 18:40 and was told by a member of staff that they were closed. When I said that opening times online stated they close at 19:30, I was told that the inside area closes at 18:30 but the drive through closes at 19:30 however, this 'wasn't working' - how convenient. Be aware that is considerably more expensive than the one down by the Riverside a short walk away. Same food and drink, samecquality, but charges more. I actually walk past the Riverside one to get here, stopping there in future.

Drive thru - very rude this evening, slow service & absolutely no apology for waiting. A young girl with strawberry blonde hair was very blunt and did not offer sugar etc. felt very annoyed with our experience. Not impressed.

Sophia served me and was utterly delightful. Great service and delicious drinks :)

We were served by Jessie who was such a great barista, she took so much care over our order and went above and beyond! Give that girl a raise 🙂

I think the staff are great here. They do a hard job, and the demands of the drive-thru are not insubstantial. And yet they do their absolute best, get everyone served and the coffee is made to order and very good. All of the Pembrokeshire locations for Costa are really good. Yes it’s busy sometimes and things are slow. Go over to M&S cafe, who work just as hard, and see if they are any quicker. Answers no. Everyone’s trying their best and some people are just whinging about a little wait. Grow up.

5 behind counter took awhile for someone to actually ask were we being served, we were sitting in. They seemed more interested in serving the drive through. Not the cleanest of places and coffee could of been hotter. The staff were friendly but need to try harder with serving people who decide to sit in and cleaning.

Very slow staff, waited about 20 minutes in the queue with about 5 people in front of us

Have recently seen improved speed and efficiency of service. Are better managing the competing demands of drive-thru vs inside service.

The delicious chicken wraps have been discontinued and replaced with the bland inferior ‘Cajun spiced chicken pizza wrap’ which tastes like washing up liquid. They used to be a highlight whenever I stopped for food. No longer. Such a sad day for civilization.

Would love to give 5 stars but the queue wes long and only one person serving.

It's a Costa. Nothing really to shout about, but serves good coffee. Lots of seating and free WIFI.

We go here most weeks and is always a pleasure. Friendly staff and good service.

The little lady with the big smile is always so friendly.

Friendly staff, Rebecca came over to the queue to take orders to make the ordering process quicker for customers. What a great idea. Izy is a great asset to the place. She was very helpful and asked if we needed our table clearing to give us more room. This was a great help to us on a small table.

Went in Monday evening and ordered two drinks, waited ten min for the drink and whilst sat waiting a member of staff walked over and said we are closing in ten minutes, do you want takeaway? We replied no and had them eventually in cups but the staff were very rude and slow. They should’ve just said we close in ten mins do you want them to takeaway?

Rude unhelpful staff with no customer service skills between them....an embarrassment for a big company like costa

Friendly and inviting. Nice areas to sit, especially if you have children with you. Cafe and ladies toilet area was clean and cared for. Nice coffee too 😊

Painfully slow service on Saturdays. Must be understaffed and overworked. All friendly though but trying to deal with the drive through and walk in customers from the shopping area is just too much.

Log wait, but friendly staff. Costa coffee as good as always.

Didn't use the drive through, we went into the store. Staff friendly. Good choice of food. Had to wait longer than expected for our coffees, considering there was no queue when we arrived.

Usually live in Costa coffee but sadly, the barista does not know how to make a flat white. Not good at all. Also, they concentrate on the drive thru customers at the expense of the cafe customers. Even at 7am, I had a long wait. Disappointed.

Best cortado and extremely pleasant staff

Decent products, food and cakes are great quality but quite expensive. Our hot chocolate was cool in temperature and had to be replaced. It was unpleasantly cold and due to being understaffed the tables were left uncleared and not cleaned for excessive periods of time. Staff were working under pressure but still cheerful and helpful.

Not good. very slow staff and dont listen to customers orders, asked for a caramel latte and got a hot cross bun one instead they dont even sound the same i will stick to the riverside one from now on

Staff friendly and helpful, but click-and-collect menu consistently out of date. Not sure if this is an issue with this specific venue or Costa generally.

Brilliant can't fault it grate staff best hot chocolate ever kept me warm for the journey home.

Your facility is ridiculously undermanned. 25minutes for a late and a hot chocolate?

Nice friendly service and good coffee

Over bearing staff micromanaging you as soon as you walk in the door, too insistent on track and track being done before u have ordered. Really spoiled the visit made our group feel very uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Would highly recommend going here for a very nice cup of coffee.

Went to costa , ordered 1 drink. Woman had no idea what she was doing while we ordering on the drive through, then when at the window I could hear her say to her colleague “ I don’t even know what she’s on about” very rude , very poor service. wasn’t a difficult drink or request, seem to be too mush hassle.

Very long wait times. Long queues of cars. Queuing customers ignored over click and collect customers so a form of electronic queue jumping is in operation. Lack of communication from staff. Will be buying my coffees from an independent coffee firm in future who will show their appreciation for valued customers.

Very slow 25 minutes waiting .. Drive through , more like a crawl through Watery caramel latte , no taste of coffee!! very poor £6 for 2 coffees , to then be thrown in the bin .!!

Would give it zero stars if I could. Is the third time they give me a drink that tastes just rotten. I don't know if they use old milk or they don't clean their machines but their coffees just taste so bad. It's a shame there is no more coffee shops open. This Costa doesn't seem to have standards. I'm not impressed with the staff they recruit either. Can't wait for other much better quality coffee shops to reopen.

Great little drive through but if you use the drive through please don't chuck your used cups out of your car window, Pembrokeshire is littered with them. Please dispose of properly 🙏👍🚙🥤🚫🚮

Always busy, staff friendly enough but had a few errors with my orders and always feel a little disappointed with the food.

The coffee gets the 1 star... Incredibly rude staff, very patronising. Such a shame as I know this has been mentioned by many in the local town.. For a new set up it has got a bed reputation very fast..

I ordered a brie and cranberry and they gave me a pig's in blankets, but I only realised when I a couple of miles away. Service is quite slow sometimes, but I do enjoy the coffee.

Writing this review during our visit. In the future we will use the drive thru. Walking in through the main door to request a seat in the corner as we have a young child with us who is always on the move we were spoken to in a patronising and unprofessional way (we even managed to get a roll of the eyes). The lady (dressed in black who I can only assume be the supervisor) was quick to pull her fleece jacket across her name tag and shuffle away. You are probably best using the Costa machine in the local Morrison’s petrol station.

Very nice staff and made sure I knew that food i had chosen was vegan encase I hadn't seen as I'd also picked up non vegan
