My son and his partner told me about the Kings Head from the multiple times they stayed, so when it came time for me to hop across the pond, I insisted. And I'm glad I did! The people are just the best, the room is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, and the fish and chips are top notch! Thank you Robbie and staff for giving me the best first night in the UK. I will be back!
What can I say,top quality food (proper butchers sausages etc) cooked well for a fantastic price. Honestly guys you could throw a few quid on top of your prices and it would still be great value for money.
Friendly staff, quick service in an old style cafe setting. We we're a party of 9 people and our meal were all quickly prepared and all came out of the kitchen virtually together !!
Three stars only for the atmosphere because of scruffy menus, empty sauce bottles and a few wobbly seats.
I had the belly busting mega-breakfast for an unbelievable ÂŁ6.95 (you can even have a "monster" breakfast for ÂŁ9.95 which you could easily feed 2-3 people with) and on a return visit the Standard breakfast for ÂŁ4.95
I'm an old P.Dock lad and will definitely be popping in every time I'm back in the Dock in future.
I can highly recommend The Cozy Diner if you love good food at a top price in a no frills setting..
Been several times before and it has always been excellent but today's sunday lunch was poor. Tough beef, cold vegetables served on cold plates. Don't think we'll be back
Great friendly place to lunch.
Advisable o book ahead as its that popular .
I opted for omelette without salad my husband chose the chilli jacket which came with cheese , salad & coleslaw.
Mine arrived with beans, enough to keep 4 cowboys happy. :-)
All served with a smile of course.
Hubby had a glass of lager & I had a small glass of wine. For under ÂŁ30 that considering the quality of the food and the portions sizes was very reasonable.
Would definitely go back, nothing on their lunch menu was over ÂŁ9 .

I love this place. The food is absolutely brilliant. I have travelled the world in the past and had amazing food abroad, but it's difficult to find very tasty food in the UK. This place exceeds all expectations. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so generous with their portions. They're very chatty and I always have extremely good service. I often recommend it to my friends and family. This is some of the tastiest food around and definitely the BEST place for a kebab locally! Keep up the great work!
Fantastic 2 night stay in the B&B rooms above the family run gastro pub.
A warm welcome (even to an Englishman đ) from everyone both sides of the bar! Dog friendly and very much a countryside theme in the decor throughout.
Close to many scenic attractions including Carly ruins, long empty beaches and shopping. Several cask ales on draught and a full compliment of wines and spirits.
Full menu from breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals using local produce.
Real fires and cosy rooms to have your meal. Clean and stylish rooms to relax in afterwards, with a good nightâs sleep.
What at a privilege it was to lunch alfresco at Tides on a beautiful sunny spring day. We have been before quite a few times and the food has always been fresh interesting and delicious. Today we tried a variety of dishes starters and mains. Tempura prawns squid and a lovely tartlet. Washed down with a crisp glass of white wine to top off a lovely experience. As usual the serving staff were friendly and efficient. Canât wait to return.
We were looking forward to our food from.here after reading the reviews, but were left disappointed. Chicken tikka Balti, hard to know it was tikka meat. Only one piece of red pepper and one piece of green, lots of onions! Chicken tikka jalfrezi. Again wouldn't know it was supposed to be tikka meat and lack of peppers. Flavour only ok. . Paratha bread so salty it was inedible . Sorry but wouldn't return.
