We had such a lovely evening here. There was a good choice available on the menu which was reasonably priced. Our food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Friendly staff and a really comfortable bar with amazing views for pre drinks. Highly recommend!

The Bad: Everything tastes of cardboard containers, the cheese was transparent and that was concerning, the garlic bread was soggy, the chips were soggy, and had that transparent cheese on it, and the chicken nuggets were dried out and crispy. On top of it all, the food was luke warm on arrival, and the cardboard box containers were a poor choice because it contaminated everything with cardboard taste. Extremely expensive, I expected much better. I don't mind paying more than the average, but then I expect premium quality..... The Good: Burger meat was very good quality, chilli cheese bites were nice, and to my surprise, the onion rings WEREN'T soggy, as they are with all other take aways, they were actually really nice. The loaded hotdog was nice, but again, everything tasted like paper, because of these terrible cardboard containers.

We ate here one lunchtime on finding that the beach tearoom was shut. The lady who served us was lovely, the pizza was enjoyable (if a little small for the price) & freshly made by the owners husband. Coffee was really good.

We spent few days in the village and we discovered this amazing place. I have never seen such a rustic and authentic place. Back in the good old days. No music, no draft beer, forget wifi or credit card payment. It's the 60s here. Its adorable owner has been running the place for over 50 years. We went there every single evening with always the same pleasure. A few bottled beers and ciders on the shelf. A few soft drinks. Bags of crisps. Who needs more? And always that "thank you" after carefully pouring each glass. I will remember this place forever...and the kids too!

Looks like the Neuadd Arms is closed for the forseeable future as although you can book a reservation on the website, when you call the pub the answerphone tells you that the pub is closed. Just saying. Quite normal for Wales to have total lack of communication as it would have been good to know before setting off and arriving at a locked door.
