The best restaurants in West Wales

Visited for the day to watch the 6 nations rugby - it was an accidental find and they were amazing. Welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We spent a lovely afternoon - food 1/2 time and good drinks and service. Thank you

As a family we were well served and the food was excellent. The kids loved the starters and pudding and to keep then amused they brought out some paper and pencils.

Visited here with my family on a weekend visit to Tenby. The food was fantastic! The staff were all polite and helpful and we got a really good vibe for the place. Next time we visit Wales we’ll definitely be booking here again.

Came here for partners birthday meal, needless to say they delivered. Food was delicious. Service was amazing and couldn't fault a thing. Food was presented really well. Would highly recommend to try this place out. Cant wait for our next visit!

Called by on 18/04/25 had a mixture of starters mains and puds could not fault, staff were spot on, had a couple of pints of Guinness which was also very good, prices were very reasonable, atmosphere was also very good. Would recommend and will be back soon. Brilliant menu plenty of choice something for everyone.

Brilliant place to pick up a bite to eat or drink. Food and coffee are delicious and staff are really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

There are no rooms to rent here anymore. But definitely the best café in Llandovery. Great coffee and food.

My husband and I dined here for the 2nd time whilst on holiday in Tenby. We had visited last year and the food was gorgeous, however this time around it was no where near as good. My husband had the pork belly which was overcooked. No one came to ask us whether the food was okay and you couldn't get anyone's attention even if you wanted to. Last year the service was chaotic and we thought it was a one off due to short staffing, but one year on nothing had changed. The staff are all over the place and there is little coordination. We even had to get our own drinks from the bar counter after waiting for around 20 minutes and we waited around 45 minutes for our main course following the starter. The owner is lovely but he stands around chatting rather than paying attention to the service and then gives free drinks when people are left waiting. There was only one person preparing drinks behind the bar and they even ran out of glasses at one point. Our water was served in beer glasses! We will not be returning.

Really lovely place, I would definitely recommend it. Friendly staff were very attentive and helpful. The steak was beautifully cooked and my partner raved about the vegetarian options too.

Booked in lat night for four night stay. Hotel has exceeded my expectation. As a disabled solo traveller I need a little help. Staff have gone the extra mile the restaurant meal was amazing.

Looks like the Neuadd Arms is closed for the forseeable future as although you can book a reservation on the website, when you call the pub the answerphone tells you that the pub is closed. Just saying. Quite normal for Wales to have total lack of communication as it would have been good to know before setting off and arriving at a locked door.

We attended a live jazz event, which was great. What a fantastic pianist & entertainer Dale Storr is - thank you 🥰
