The food here was fabulous and so tasty. The potion sizes will not disappoint and nicely priced too. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Tenby. Large portions of tasty food. The staff were superb and very helpful , even with one of our party who has allergies to nuts . Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend.

What a place! Beautifully done out inside, amazing food and super friendly staff. We booked a late dinner service and they were eagerly awaiting our arrival. The staff were friendly and welcoming and gave us a choice of tables. The menu is great with lots of choice. We were a little disappointed we couldn't get the seafood platter, but the waitress pointed out it was out of season, which can't be helped. We'll be back for that! The portions were enormous! We had the king prawns and kefta to start, and the crab linguini and full rack of ribs for mains. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We were quickly the last table eating as most had come earlier. We offered to cash off our tab so they could close down and the friendly waiter insisted we take our time and enjoy our dinner. Good serving staff really do make the experience 5 star. Thanks team! See you in the summer.

First time here and we were not disappointed. Atmosphere, staff and food were first class. The menu has something for everyone. The tempura king prawn starters were the best I’ve ever had. The fish cake was amazing and extremely filling. You will need to book here in advance at peak holiday periods. Our new No1 restaurant in Tenby.

Whenever we come to Tenby, we always stop in at Billycan! The food is always top notch with large portion sizes and the service is excellent.

Best meal I've had in some time. Really tasty, generous portions - but quality not just quantity. We had the burger and also the trio of pork, absolutely delicious! And the sticky toffee pudding too...

My partner and I had dinner at Billy Can tonight whilst on holiday near Tenby. We looked at many of the restaurant menu’s in Tenby, many looked great but this menu stood out the most - huge variety and different choices to a lot of the neighbouring restaurants. Between us we had the Pork Trio and the ‘1/2 Ribs & 1/4 Chicken combo’ - both were delicious and very generous portions. The restaurant had a great bubbly atmosphere and friendly attentive service - highly recommend if you’re in Tenby.

Booked the Billycan for a 60th birthday lunch for 9 including 2 vegetarians and a child. The food was incredible, portion size was excellent, be warned you may not have room for pudding. All meals were excellent in taste and presentation. Service was also brilliant, live the added fruit in my fruit cider. Will come again when in Tenby!

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying Sunday lunch at Billycan, and I have to say it was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, it was the perfect dining experience. The moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately set the stage for a great meal. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. Now, onto the star of the show—the Sunday lunch itself. Wow! Every element of the meal was cooked to perfection. The roast meats were incredibly tender, full of flavor, and paired beautifully with all the trimmings. The vegetables were fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the Yorkshire puddings were light and crispy, just as they should be. The portions were generous, and you could taste the quality and care in every bite. It’s hard to find a Sunday roast that ticks all the boxes, but Billycan does it flawlessly. If you’re looking for the best Sunday lunch around, this is the place to go. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will be making it a regular spot for Sunday dining! Sunday lunch........ amazing offerings! 11 of us ate here and we varied from the roast dinner to the chicken madras, it was gorgeous! Comfortable surroundings, exceptional quality, top drawer!

Food and service were good, portions were just too big even for healthy eaters like ourselves. Meant a lot was returned which isn't great for food waste. Just need to be clearer on portion size and whether mains could be shared.

Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. We were a party of 8 and service was faultless. Food was amazing, you certainly won't starve

Our landlady recommended the Billycan to us. It's a lovely restaurant and our meals were superb. I had a pint of Neck Oil with my meal which was £6 a pint!!! Staggering rip off which spoilt the visit.

We had a delicious roast lunch on Sunday. Not only was it tasty but it was served nice and hot. We would highly recommend a visit.

More of a foodie place than a drinking establishment though you are alright to have a beer. A few tap beers, ciders and craft beers. Staff were very friendly and polite. Small L shaped room with wooden floors throughout. Food looks fantastic and smells better. Descent tables and chairs, reasonably decorated. Beer was good and I felt comfortable. Enjoyed my visit.

Had lunch today and although it isn’t cheap, the food was amazing. There’s great variety from salads to burgers, fish etc. Service was great, all clean, toilets nice and clean, well decorated. Lovely place to eat!

Went 4 a Sunday Roast. Today was seated at once we did book very friendly staff Menu given to us in minutes 1 Lamb 1 Turkey 7 lots of fresh vegetables on a side dish Hugh Y PUDD and a very nice gravy it was VERY enjoyable afraid no room for a Dessert 5 *****

Pre booked a table online a few weeks ago. Have dined here before so knew it would cater for our fussy kids. I’d say portion size was too large for kids. Our 10year old usually has adults servings and finish’s them no problem but struggled with kids meatballs and pasta. Our 6year old had sausages and chips with loads left over. We shared scallops for starters, then I had lobster while hubbie had surf and turf. Both enjoyed and just the right portion size for us. Was too full to have dessert.

Last minute booking for a meal and they only had 9 pm,and every other night we were on holiday, it was also fully booked, (which is generally a good sign in a restaurant)but as the place had been recommended, we took it and so glad we did. The girl rang us at 7.30 to give us an option of coming early, as the previous booking had been cancelled, which we took her up on and it was a nice touch. The food was outstanding, I had Moroccan chicken skewers, and it was delicious, as was my partners giant fishcake. If you're in Tenby I would definitely recommend trying to book in.

Came today for Sunday roast with the family and all I can say is it was amazing. Lovely food all cooked well and dessert was 😋 delicious Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble we will definitely be back

We had an amazing dining experience. The food was outstanding. We had the beef, pork loins, and the fish pie, which was excellent. The service was fantastic too, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tenby.

I can't say I totally disliked it but I can't say I liked it either... Huge portions but lacking in flavour... It just didn't feel like it was nicely cooked food but previously prepared... And those soggy tempura prawns were really not very nice... can't put my finger on it... Sorry...

Went here for dinner. The restaurant is quirky and very popular. Excellent service. Lovely staff. As others have said the portions are huge. I had the curried Hake. And sadly the curry taste overpowered the Hake taste. The rest of the meal was tasty but far too much. A lot of waste across all the tables.

The food here is lovely! Me and my daughter were stuffed when we left there was so much of it! Delicious. The service is great and everyone is friendly. I always make sure I get booked in during my yearly holiday in Tenby. Till next year!

Ate lunch with the kids, they ordered the cheese burger’s from the kids menu good portion size for a teen home made burger, we ordered the share platter pie, mini burger, chicken & fish strips, chips & Mushy peas big portion for two. pie & burger exceptional rest great. An absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the restaurant's beautiful surroundings and aesthetics. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly professional, making it the perfect spot for a family meal. The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the food. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed by the fish and chips, which were undoubtedly the best we've had in several years. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. We cannot recommend Billycan highly enough. It's a true gem and we can't wait to return! A massive thank you to the entire Billycan team for such a wonderful experience.

I seem to be in the minority in not being particularly impressed by this place. The food was fine. Yes, large portions, but none of it tasted particularly refined. The gravy was made from granules that were still present I.e. not mixed properly. The steak was well cooked (medium rare) but wasn't a great cut of meat. The sausages were the pink paste kind. The chicken in the chicken burger was tough. The coleslaw side ordered seemed straight out of a tube rather than fresh. The bread that came with the olives was actually excellent. Service wasn't great. The place was half empty (despite a sign outside saying fully booked) but the staff seemed distracted and weren't overly welcoming. There was no atmosphere at all to speak of. Perhaps we went at the wrong time (5pm). All in all, am surprised it has the reputation it has in Tenby and there's at least one other place serving more interesting and fresher food not far away.

Thanks to Adam, Bobbie, and the Billy Can team who catered for 30 family and friends in order to celebrate my big birthday. All of the food was to the usual high standard, and all of which came out together. Special mention to the wonderful super chef Ras. The food definitely left a lasting impression on my family and friends. Brilliant.

Very delicious and good quality food. Had some tempura king prawns for startets and Ive never eaten such juicy and fresh prawns anywhere. For main had some cannelloni and I was very positively surpised how good that was too considering its not Italian restaurant. Very friendly and fast service. Would definetly go again!

Has to be THE best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Not because it was a huge portion but the fish was beautifully battered and cooked, light and crispy and just flaked away. Located just a street away from the heart of Tenby. No parking right next to restaurant but multiply car parks within a 5 min walk. Great seafood at such a reasonable price and massive portion sizes a single seafood platter comfortably filled two people up. Drinks are reasonably priced as well.

Booked here for my Birthday meal, lovely cheese burger, husband had Billycan burger and said it was the nicest burger he'd had, was struggling to finish it but pretty much managed it, service was fast and friendly, will be back for sure. Thanks.

We were extremely impressed by Billycan, and if we were staying in Tenby longer, we would have definitely returned for another meal! The hospitality and the quality of our meal were so outstanding that I would even consider staying in their B&B. The chips were possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We ordered the ribs and the Billycan burger, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Our only criticism is that the portion sizes were so large that we felt guilty for not being able to finish our meals. I'd recommend booking in advance. We booked by walking in at lunchtime on a Monday, and it was almost fully booked for the evening.

The Beef Sunday Roast is one of the best we have had! Beef just feel apart in your mouth, portion sizes are very generous! Coupled with friendly staff, a clean and comfortable restaurant makes for a lovely Sunday afternoon!

Booked for a birthday, have had many meals there and always been happy, sadly this meal was beyond disappointing. Dry chicken kebabs and lamb shank was extremely fatty. Honey roasted vegetables were sadly dried out parsnip and 2 baby carrots. Mashed potatoes tasted like it was powered. For 2 people with a cost of £62, this will be our last visit there.

It is very difficult to get a table at this bar, and I can certainly understand why. The food is incredible. Everything cooked fresh. I ordered the Chilli Burger, and you could not fault it. The meat was incredible, the salad so fresh. I was undecided about what to select from the menu as it was all just amazing. My sister had the steak pie, which was a 10/10 fresh vegetables, meat so tender that it just melts in your mouth. I can not begin to tell you how tasty all our meals were. They were all excellent value for money. Would highly recommend, will definitely be returning and just advise booking well in advance. The best meal that we eat all week.

We always visit here when we come to tenby. Food is absolutely fantastic everytime. We was here this week again and once again we had a great meal, generous portion size. We had the Moroccan sharing platter which I highly recommend. Also had the cheesecake for dessert which again was very good. Service from the waitress was brilliant. A must visit if you are after a really good meal

Just awful. Main waiter (male) aloof. Wine uncorked before delivering to table. Chicken nachos as starter was just a mess, not appropriate or appealing. Main course: fish cakes and chips. Well, fish cakes dry, stodgy, cooked day before, and chips, old and re-fried. Avoid. So disappointing on so many levels.

Recommended Billycan from our campsite warden at Meadow Farm. A warm welcome from the team and sat in a nice dog friendly table. A good option of wines, beers and soft drinks. The menu was very meat focused which was fine with myself however not everyone would like this. We went with piri piri chicken and crab linguine which I have attached a photo. The food portions were very large but would say a factor of quantity over quality it felt which was a shame but was tasty.

Lovely food and attentive staff. The menu was varied and the portions were very large. Good to see it busy on a week night in April. We were a party of eight and all the dishes came out together and were nice and hot. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

What an experience, we booked and asked for a quiet table as we had a nervous dog. They listened and gave us a very quiet table well out of the way. We had an excellent evening meal, perfectly cooked and really good value for money. The service was faultless (thank you, Vinny) and drinks were reasonably priced. We would certainly go back again if we were in the area.

We booked Billycan based on the recommendation of our host and previous guests that had stayed with them. There was a good variety of options to choose from on the menu including vegetarian. The quality of the food was also really good with the portions being very large. Kids menu is also available on request & again with a good variety of options to choose from.

Great friendly service for dinner for our large group of 14 people plus 3 toddlers. Staff were lovely and very patient and kind. The food was great, huge portions! Only one vegan option, but this vegan burger is a special one that the chef has taken some care over. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant on the Tuesday after Easter with my brother, drawn in by the appetising food pictures on Google Maps. The setting was modern and the staff, friendly. We chose the Billycan platter for two, featuring a generous mix of small burgers, fried chicken, fish, chips, and beef. While the quantity seemed satisfying, I began feeling bloated after a few bites, which I initially attributed to the portion size. Unfortunately, my discomfort escalated into persistent vomiting and symptoms of gastroenteritis after returning home to London that evening. Compounding this, my brother, who traveled to Bath post visit, experienced identical symptoms throughout the night and the following morning, ruining his day as a tourist. I only dined here once, so I can't speak to their usual standards of hygiene. But it's disheartening to report that our visit was followed by such severe gastroenteritis symptoms, suggesting a potential issue with the food quality that day. Overall, 2 stars just for the modern environment and friendly attitude of the staff.

Visited the Billycan as we do every time we visit Tenby as the food and service are always outstanding, on this occasion my mother in law unfortunately lost her wedding ring, we returned later that evening to try and find to no avail, but the following morning we had a phone call to say it had been found by the cleaner, massive thank you to the Billycan team. Looking forward to another visit.

The staff can’t come from Tenby .. they are far too nice. Pleasant, actually the first staff in a whole week of eating inTenby to ask you if the meal is ok !! During the meal ! Basic surely, but shows what a money grabbing lot all the other places are. I had fish and chips .. and wow the first fish that had body and flavour and was well presented and tasty. First fish and chips that tasted good and not like it had come out a freezer. Atmosphere, service , good food !! Book it up .. you won’t be disappointed

I've been coming here for years. Great place to eat . Portion sizes and quality of the food is excellent. Great choice across the menu. Sunday lunch dinners are outstanding with a smaller menu choice for those who dont eat a traditional Sunday lunch. There is something for everyone. Friendly staff can not do enough for you. If friends say to me I'm going to Tenby, I always say go to the Billycan ! I would advise you to book a table if you're planning in going there.

Amazing Portions. The menu offered a great selection. We ordered the Fish Pie, Hake Tikka and 10oz Sirloin. The first thing that struck us was the sheer size of the portions. They were huge, the food was fresh and I really liked the eclectic and simple design of the restaurant. There was plenty of room for three adults and a sleeping toddler. The staff were very friendly, attentive and quick with service. Overall I would definitely recommend stopping in for a meal.

Another amazing meal at the Billycan. The staff are great and very friendly with great customer service. The Sunday lunch is the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Tenby. If you have not been here would recommend, but booking is advised as they are always fully booked on the day.

Dined at Billycan on a March Friday evening and it was busy, always a good sign! It has been revamped since our last visit but remains light and airy. Service was friendly and prompt. The menu is imaginative and varied. We had the spicy chicken wings to start and I opted for the hake tika with prawn biryani, my partner chose the crabmeat and prawn linguine. The chicken wings were a good size with a zesty sauce and made a good shared starter. My hake tika was stunning in it's execution and taste combinations. The hake was beautifully cooked, as was the accompanying prawn byriani and sauces. The crabmeat and prawn linguine was a celebration of seafood taste and presentation. Here the crabmeat and prawns were not hiding amongst the linguine, quite the opposite, being very generously presented. The in-house burgers looked to be a very popular choice - and of equally generous proportions. In fact all the dishes are generous - as was evident from the number of diners leaving with take-home boxes! Book if you can - you don't want to miss dining here.

This establishment produces one of the best Sunday lunch I have ever had! I visited with friends and we all totally enjoyed ourselves. The Sunday lunch choice was excellent; I chose beef and my wife had chicken. They do serve a 3 meat meal but you would have to be super hungry to fisinsh it. You have to book early as it is not too big an establishment and fills up very quickly

We decided to go to BillyCan after a lovely woman at our hotel recommended it. The Place was amazingly well run with a nice atmosphere and very nice staff. Take your appetite. We had a couple of entrees and shared a mainland we struggled to eat that. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous.

Each of us thoroughly enjoyed, and my partner said it was the best steak he's ever had! The service was also fantastic. Highly recommended. It's not too pricey either!
