Cafe Môr - The Pembrokeshire Beachfood Company in Pembrokeshire

We were recommended this cafe by family and after visiting we know exactly why. The cakes are absolutely amazing, we had carrot and chocolate and both were exceptional. The staff are super friendly and so accommodating to dogs. Our pooch Thelma was over the moon with all the fuss and love the staff gave her while we visited. We will absolutely be coming back next time we visit Pembrokeshire

Have just been to old point house as a family of 5 it can be hard at times to accommodate us and please my 3 boys but everyone left happy . The food was amazing from the children menu up to the lobster roll if we didn't live 6hours drive away we would be back every week

Cafe môr Klar! England ist teuer aber für 2x Beef burger mit Pommes und ein kleines Alster/Bier für 64€!! Das nenn ich mal ein zünftiges Mittagessen nach über einer Std fahrt weil ja das besondere Hummer und Krabben Café so sensationell bewertet wurde. Blick auf Industrie Schornsteine mit Endzeitgefühl. Das Personal sehr beschäftigt aber typisch Walisisch sehr freundlich. Das Café/Restaurant schnuckelig klein mit urigen Tischen, Bar und Dekorationen. Der Außenbreich bei Sonne und ohne Watt sicher sehr schön. Das Boot Café Môr stand verweist zwar auf dem Platz, sah aber eher wie ein Geisterschiff aus. Einige der berühmten Gerichte stehen jetzt auf der Karte vom Point House. Leider war Crab am Mittag schon ausverkauft. Pommes für 6,35€ als Beilage fanden wir dann etwas krass. Der Burger Bun mit Seaweed gebacken war außergewöhnlich und die Tomaten Salsa ein Träumchen. Deswegen nochmal dort hinfahren auf teilweise unwegsamen Straßen / mit Geländewagen gehts, würden wir nicht. Wenn man zufällig dort langläuft oder in der Nähe ist, sollte man sein Glück versuchen, dass das Boot auch geöffnet und der Lobster bereit für euch ist. P.S. Die Türen standen auf und es war kalt und windig. Wir durften eine Tür schließen, gemütlich essen ist was anderes. Wie gesagt, immer Sommer sicher ganz anders und warm.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The food food was simple but lovely, mostly sandwiches/burgers. Seating is outdoors on picnic tables. There is a pub with indoor/outdoor seating just next to the cafe. Restrooms are available at the pub. We started our hike from here. The full trail is about 9 miles around a point of land with the bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Be prepared to travel some narrow back roads to get here, however.

Delicious food! Wonderful service, dogs very welcome. Highly recommend.

Have had better food on previous visits. No flavoring on the chips, no salt, no special seasoning as previous.

Been visiting every year for the crab roll. This year we rolled up to find the crab roll at £18.50 and the lobster roll at a staggering £25. You ca make your own mind up as to whether this represents.

Splashed out on the famous crab roll and was not disappointed. Was absolutely delicious. We sat outside and it had a wonderful atmosphere. Was worried it would no longer feel like a food van being surged from a pub but absolutely does. Loved going to collect the food when it’s done and not being waited to tables - had a great atmosphere.

We travelled 1.5 hours to try the infamous crayfish tail roll. Well, it looked more like a paella on a roll and it was drenched in oil. The roll was soaked with oil and I had about a tot full of oil in the brown container left over after eating the roll. The chips and chilli sauce was very good!! We bought 2 bottles of it. Highly recommended it. For £25 for a roll and drenched in oil. Well , I certainly won't recommend it.

It’s not the place that’s the problem it’s the blo—y road getting there played havoc with the car and don’t even talk about the car park!!!!

Brother had eaten here before and recommended so we had to visit. Really nice food and bonus pub next door for a pint.

Excellent chips and wonderful sauces. Very glad I visited. Have been foraging seaweed for many years. Lovely to try the dishes here. The lobster roll is intriguing and good but that beautiful taste I associate with local lobster is drowned out. I still enjoyed everything I ordered.

Pretty difficult to drive to but worthwhile to visit. Very good food selection, great beers, wine and cocktails 😀

Very much looking forward to visiting as we had previously discovered the street food at Freshwater West some years ago. Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The lobster roll was good but at £25 when you get one for £10 in Tenby. Burgers were very disappointing. The patties were overcooked and tough , poor for £14 each. Chops were good but not worth £5.50. Staff could not afford even a smile when ordering or serving the food - monosyllabic. Won't be returning in a hurry.

We stopped here for lunch which was so good. The food came really quickly and was excellent, in particular, the fries with kelpchup was so good we had to buy a bottle to take home with us. I also had the oysters which were very fresh.

What a great find, a lovely little place for a spot of lunch and a cheeky beer. Possibly some of the best chips I’ve ever had, with a side order of bacon butty, highly recommended. PS, don’t be put off by the name, the seaweed ketchup is very, very tasty.

Hmm. We travelled quite a distance to sample the lobster roll which turned out to be unremarkable. The lobster was overcooked. Crab rolls were much better and the chips were excellent. Cack handed service and a rather unpleasant guy behind the bar made the trip disappointing.

Fab mothers day brunch with my daughter! Sat outside in the sun, and enjoyed my garlic mushrooms on soda bread with spinach, poached egg and bacon! My daughter had the lobster, washed down with a good coffee and pud!

Cafe not open at the times listed online and on Instagram and impolite member of staff. Shame as the restaurant looks great and the kitchen smelt fantastic.

Fell in love with Cafe Mor last year when visiting Freshwater West so was super excited they moved into the pub and made a point to include as part of this years holiday. Whilst was disappointed the Lobster Roll wasn’t available was completely satisfied with the Crab Roll and simply the best chips in the world. Stocked up on their special seaweed mixes and already planning next years trip. 😻

I had a gluten-free sea bass roll and some chips. The seaweed ketchup was so good we grabbed some to go. The food was so good, we’re already trying to see how we can fit another visit in. Thank you.

Je n'ai pas dû prendre le bon menu mais le plat au crabe ne m'a pas plu du tout. Une chaleur indescriptible, peu d'ombre et trop de monde pour un si petit espace. La vue sur une raffinerie, n'est pas le panorama le plus sympa de du Pembrokeshire.

Fabulous food in a great location. Holiday vibes and sunshine. Street food with a top class twist! We had the fish butty - gorgeous sea bass in suberb bread bun; crab sandwich - too rich for my son, but that's just an opinion, and two burgers, which according to one member of the family was the top burger he's ever eaten, and he's eaten a few! A great recommendation from one of the Outer Reef instructors- thanks Jack!

Excellent toilets good atmosphere

Disappointing visit, basically fish or burger in a batch and that's it, very basic & expensive, £27 for 2 batches and a tiny portion of chips, on the plus side the pub has good beer and cheap.

We were in Pembroke and Cafe Mor was on my to do list. The Classic burger with Kelpchup was literally the best burger I’ve had. Succulent and very tasty. Staff were friendly, They have now moved to the old point house in Angle which is something of a dusty trek. Looking at the bigger picture (as this seems to be a recent move) think it will be awesome. If I was asked for any suggestions going forward it would be more prudent to number the tables and possibly have a couple of waitresses take out the food. Rather than shouting peoples names out to come fetch. Also whoever is responsible for the approach to the old point house could do with doing some maintenance on the track surface as a couple of nasty potholes. Sat navs also can have issues finding it. Finally if you like seafood and burgers. Then this is well worth the effort and a visit.

One of the best meals I've had in my life! Worth a visit to Wales just to come to this place!

We got a couple of beef burgers, a crab roll and chips - Absolutely flippin’ delicious, could not recommend enough. I see a few other reviews stating “best burger I’ve ever had”, it really is that good. I also got a vanilla ice cream on my way out, unfortunately that wasn’t so good. Pretty sure it was just massively marked up, standard supermarket soft scoop from a tub and not the homemade taste sensation I was expecting after the rolls. Those burgers were so good though….

Had a little run around for the parking but was well worth it! Fantastic seafood....loved the rolls and lobster was amazing. For sure coming back here again and highly recommended!

This is - and I can't stress this enough - one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm not worried about overhyping this little van of seafood heaven because it's not possible, they're just THAT GOOD at what they do. We drove a looong way to get to this crab roll and I honestly think if I ever meet the person I want to marry, and we ever decide to have a wedding, I'm going to host the reception in this car park, right next to this food truck. If you're nearby (or even if you're not), make the drive, take in the ocean views, and enjoy one of the best things you'll eat this year.

Went at the height of summer. Ordered 2x burgers an chips. Burgers was pre cooked and thrown on the grill to be warmed up. Expected a lot better for the costs. Went back to the beach the next day with a disposal bbq and cooked burgers for my family which tasted 100xs better.. Not worth it.

Long 25 minute wait but worth it. The classic burger for £5.50 comes with 'kelpchup' made from seaweed and optional chilli sauce and black butter with salad. I don't know where the kelpchup began and the chilli sauce ended but all mixed up together on a bizarrely warm but simultaneously freezing October afternoon with the "no swimming" red flags fanning wildly in the gales, it was a truly delicious burger, with cheese and salad on larva bread.

Mor burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. Delicious food on a scenic location.

Always excellent. Classic burgers today were no exception. The weather was sunny but windy today so car park was full & there was a bit of a wait but we're happy to do that. Yesterday we attempted a visit but just missed Cafe Mor as the weather was pretty awful & they were just packing up & leaving but it was worth the return journey again today.

The food here is absolutely amazing and a must eat place if you're up at Freshwater West. Really cannot recommend this place enough! An absolute must

The "Môr Burger" was simply the best Burger I have experienced to date. Would not have considered sea weed a necessary ingredient until now. Nicely complemented by heavy artillery fire. Will be traveling 200 miles back to get another.

Everything we were hoping for and more, in crab butty. Just go there and have one. But prepare to get messy - they are overflowing with crabby, seaweedy lusciousness. Friendly service too.

Arrived 10 minutes before they closed, after long journey. First a crab roll - freshly made, with that day’s crab plus Welsh black butter and seaweed ketchup. Hard to describe the variety of delicious things going on - just wow! One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever eaten. Then a seaweed brownie - just superb. If these people had a restaurant it would have a Michelin star. Perfect fresh local ingredients cooked with consummate skill and care. If you can possibly go, then go. The icing on the cake is the location. A dramatic beach and crashing waves. All photographers take note. Come early for sunrise and stay for a serious breakfast. Pure joy.

Great location right next to Freshwater West Beach, great food I had the Cafe Mor burger with all the trimmings, wife had the Fish Butty (which was Sea Bass today) both really enjoyed what we had and will definitely be back for Mor 😊

Take the time to find a place to park, as this spot is worthwhile. We didn’t quite splash out on the lobster roll, but the crab roll was delicious. Portion sizes were heaps generous. Find yourself a seat with the lovely view to demolish this food!

Excellent Lunch, A couple of hours on the beach with the grandchildren then burger etc. in a bun for lunch served by pleasant people what more can you want. .

Avoid the Lobster roll. The Bean burger was good, the bacon sandwich was great! Overall great. But the Lobster was not well cooked, chewy even, and certainly not worth £20! I suggest trying the crab or the Fresh West breakfast sandwich instead.

Lovely little place with great burgers

Really enjoyed my lobster roll and chips. The seaweed ketchup was good. Worth queueing for. They create a friendly atmosphere as you wait to munch and then you can look out to sea as you eat.

Passed by on our bikes yesterday, quite busy but worth the wait. We had the house burger & breakee roll and chips, superb, can recommend the seaweed ketchup. Although very busy staff were very friendly, also some good music playing while wating. Will call again if passing on our bikes Ian "The man with the 🤠"

Sadly not a good one. Barked at by women on the till. Had just got 'a portion of chips out my mouth and about to order a burger, when she barked 'Is that it?this ! I was a bit stunned so ordered just a coffee. (which was awful). I was then directed to take chips waiting on side that someone else hadn't taken. I said "I'd rather wait for hot ones" but they were shoved at me! Rather than cause a scene which frankly They deserved I walked away ate 2 cold chips and gave the rest to my dig. £3.50 wasted and £2.50 £6 QUID RIP OFF. I always like to support and generally praise local traders, but this wS just plain rude and money grabbing.

Legendary food truck never disappointed when eating here. Fast service and super fresh quality seafood. The crab rolls and the lobster rolls are just fantastic nothing beats them especially with the seaweed butter and kelp sauces. Bacon butty are also top shelf can't go wrong with anything on the menu, even the fries are full of flavour. Worth driving out of your way to visit, also right on the beachfront so the location is beautiful.

Come for the beach, stay for the butty. Magnificent egg butty, that is. I suspected it wouldn’t just be a bog-standard affair from the gushing reviews, and I was right. Piled high with melty cheddar, pickles and seaweed ketchup. Tastes like the sea, in a good way. The sauce dripped all over my lap but I didn’t mind. Chips were so good my husband only let me have one, a small one at that. The meanie.

Great menu, really recommend the black bean burger ( it's massive, so maybe share it?). The ladies are very friendly and patient, even when people do do remember their names?! Other interesting menu choices, a stunning location for lunch, they make a cracking tea 👍

Probably the best burger I've ever had

Two people said "the best veggy burger I have ever eaten" which piqued my interest so I took a leisurely afternoon to snack and swim with friends. We were not disappointed! What a treat! Mandy and the fam were killing it. I had the fish burger and it blew my mind. My northern m8 even bought a pot of the seaweed butter. The brownie was squidgy to perfection and I chased it down with a seaweed infused rum hot choc. Wow! 🤯 We are coming back tomorrow for breakfast.

A fantastic place to eat, I recommend the "best bacon butty in the west" you just can't describe how amazingly tasty it is. Everytime I go here I order it and have a lovely cup of tea. Treat your taste buds and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Simply amazing food, the crab and lobster rolls are incredible (even when compared to the best New England has to offer). And the bacon butty, which I tried today, was perfection. If you're in Pembrokeshire, do yourself a favour and stop by.
