Absolutely excellent salad. I got the super grain salad which was deliciously fresh; pomegranate, lentil, chickpeas, leaves, feta, yoghurt dressing, tomatoes, cucumber. SO TASTY. Got a watermelon Living Things drink which was full of prebiotics, so it was so nice to have healthy options and also really interesting choices which I haven’t seen before. It was a bit loud and busy which was fine for lunch, but not great if you want a nice quiet dinner.

1st visit to S&L. Booked for a Good Friday lunch, and left disappointed. Lovely venue, but unless you have a bottomless brunch, the menu is very limited. We had a long wait for food, which arrived almost cold. Bar staff not knowledgeable about the wines we enquired about, and no coffees available for after lunch. On the upside, the churros were delicious! Maybe not the place for us 60+ aged folk, but would have had much better ( and cheaper) food in one of the Cardiff pubs. Shame, as was expecting better.

Dylan is a leg-end, really personal and considerate service, food was really well prepared and delicious, just a shame it was a little quiet on a Sunday

I found this cafe/ restaurant quite expensive for the standard of food.....£18 for a cheese burger..£16 for a Hot Dog......but the fries were freshly cooked and tasty. Maybe it's me not being used to Cardiff venues and the prices they charge. I would recommend it but be aware it's not a cheap meal.😕

Visited on a quiet wednesday a few weeks back, lots of parking, lots of space for seating. Big selection of food and it came quickly as did the dessert. Staff were lovely would pop over again if I wasn't living 250 miles away.

We went for the Sunday dinner it was absolutely delicious the taste was great it was presented very nicely and the service was great the staff were friendly which makes it a pleasure to visit I would recommend the food it was fairly priced so that’s a bonus

Lovely food with fabulous service from the staff. Little cafe on the street, where people wander around with friends and dogs. Enjoy a good time here.

One of these days, Costa will actually deliver all that was ordered…maybe!!
