We came here for my friend's Hen Do brunch and Tilly looked after us beautifully! Could not fault her, we were topped up constantly. Thank you for a fab afternoon 💪⭐⭐

We had such a lovely time here, the staff really took care of us. Tilly in particular was very attentive and kind throughout the bottomless brunch. Despite drama from other patrons, the staff really cared that we had a good experience and made sure that our time was not impacted by other rude customers.

1st visit to S&L. Booked for a Good Friday lunch, and left disappointed. Lovely venue, but unless you have a bottomless brunch, the menu is very limited. We had a long wait for food, which arrived almost cold. Bar staff not knowledgeable about the wines we enquired about, and no coffees available for after lunch. On the upside, the churros were delicious! Maybe not the place for us 60+ aged folk, but would have had much better ( and cheaper) food in one of the Cardiff pubs. Shame, as was expecting better.

Shocking service at S&L Cardiff central on Good Friday. The view I had can be seen below..not thw most pleasant, considering we booked I would have expected a nicer table, it was as if we were just shoved to the side. Myself and 2 friends had a table booked for 5.15, ordered through the QR code for table service around 20 to 6 and didn't get a drink until gone 6.30. I asked a waitress around 6.10 what was happening with them, she said she would find out but never came back. I then went up to the bar and asked again. The waitress (still with no apology) then asked one of the bar staff to make our drinks, there was then some sort of secret conversation between the 2 of them iluding to the idea our drinks had been given to another table perhaps, but still no apology or explanation. I returned to my seat, waited I would say another 10 mins and still no drinks. As I go to ask yet another member of staff where they are, a waitress brings them over. I comment to her we had waited at this point almost an hour for them, she just chucked them down in front of us and said 'I'm not sure what happened' ...STILL no apology. The drinks, (3 cocktails) all tasted awful, really poor. Fair to say I will not be returning and think perhaps the staff need some extra training on customer service.

Our waitress, Leonie was a fabulous host. She provided recommendations for our taste and catered to us accordingly. Leonie provided excellent service to our party and was very accommodating! An amazing hostess with an amazing personality!

I ordered food left a tip and the staff were very rude to me I took a starbucks drink in and one of the lady’s come over and grabbed it off me and said you Cant drunk that in here. Staff are very bitchy and rude

Brilliant cocktails and amazing service, especially from Tass who was very attentive, friendly and always kept us topped up on our drinks when we needed it. Would come back again; brilliant staff, brilliant food and brill drinks. Highly recommend!

It was probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life , keep away terrible food and a homeless guy walked in and started eating the scraps of a plate which wasn't cleared away

Staff helpful. Food average. All of a sudden, there was so MUCH noise, people talking, TV on that was put through the speakers, plus loud music, all at the same time, which was very overwhelming, even for me and I'm hard of hearing. Thankfully I left my hearing aids at home. One of our party has autism and she burst out crying because of all the noises! Couldn't leave as we already paid for food by the time the noise hit us. No one could hear each other. Staff had ear plugs in...what does that tell you? Our hearing did not recover for ages after leaving. Will never return 😞

The venue is nice and clean but we ordered the Fajita chicken pasta and it was really hard to eat due to it’s really salty taste so had to leave most of it, only tried to eat it as it cost £12.45. Would avoid eating there again!

Visited on Friday 24th of January for a bottomless brunch and was served by Layonie. Can I just say how outstanding she was, nothing was ever too much for her, her customer service and speed of service skills were fab. Would return to the venue just to be served by Layonie.

We popped in here for a quick drink one afternoon. The drinks were a little pricey for what you get, but there is a huge variety of different drinks. We only stayed for the one, but did enjoy the one we had.

Had an afternoon bottomless brunch with my choir ladies (26 of us) the service was excellent. Jess our main gal was so sweet, efficient and professional. The drinks were great and the food excellent. We sang happy birthday to 3 different parties and did a rendtion of O Gymru on the stairs for the whole pub before leaving. Great afternoon. Great atmosphere and great value for money. We will be back.

Ffi and Kayla were absolutely lush at our bottomless drinks! So friendly and service with a smile. Ffi was our server and got us all we needed, any issues were fixed within seconds with her. Would 100% recommend!! And Kayla got our food, no complaints with these two, the perfect service duo xx

Food was pretty good to be fair, great standard set and lots of variety. Service I've put as 3 stars. The staff were great but with the venue saying "bottomless" for the drinks deal, this isn't the case as that indicates drinks are available when you'd like or when you've finished your current one. What happened with us was, we were only allowed new drinks when the waiters/waitresses came over which was only so often due to being busy, but other than that, enjoyed the venue.

Kyle was outstanding on the old bottomless brunch. Drinks on demand. See you next year

I really enjoyed this experience. We were served by Layonie, she was amazing!!!! Our drinks were never EVER EVER dry, her customer service skills were AMAZING! We had a lovely chat and she has a great personality. Drinks were lush, food was tasty but Layonie was the highlight of our experience, will defo return. Upgraded for £10 pp and was so worth it. Pre booked a table 21st December for 2.30. Was told by a rude server that most of the food was off the menu. How can you run a restaurant without food. Absolutely disgusting.
