Great lunch and very happy to find zero alcohol Morretti on the menu

We went here for dinner as it was one of the only places open in Monmouth on a Monday evening. The food here is overall good and is consistent in quality. I had the halloumi burger which was very nice, and the fries that come with it are always very good too. They recently changed the dishes they serve food in, which seems like a downgrade from the previous ones used as a lot of the new ones are already chipped and broken, which is a real shame. The service here is good and the people are friendly. Pretty good value for money, especially when certain deals are on such as Cheeky Monday.

Great atmosphere and decor, shame the food was only OK....Poached eggs were almost hard boiled.

Could not have done more to look after a member of our group with allergies. Food was lovely. We would definitely go here again if in the area.

Warm welcome from the lovely young woman at front of house set the scene. Great atmosphere with groups of people obviously enjoying themselves. Food and service great. A really tasty 'beefy' burger-best I've had in a long time. Seven of us including American relatives. We sat upstairs which would be my choice. Spacoious with plenty of room between tables. Music added to the fun atmosphere.

Breakfast was really good. The bacon and sausages were really tasty. Service with a smile, you either order it yourself on your mobile or go to the till and order it.

Nice place for breakfast. Service is quick and friendly. Ingredients are good quality and cooked well, tasty, although the eggs on both egg dishes were slightly overdone. The mushrooms and spinach were delicious. Two of us had pancakes 🥞 and they looked great and plates cleared. Both with bacon and syrup and the other with blueberries 🫐.

Visited Estero lounge today (Sunday lunchtime). Waited an hour for drinks and food. Watermelon ice tea was nice and a pint of Cruzcampo was good, kids drink was odd, like it had come from the staff room. I get the whole eco friendliness of paper straws also but these just dissolved before your drink is finished. When the food arrived it was so poor, rubbish value for money. The Philly ciabatta with chips (£12ish) was measly, hardly any beef, no discernable cheese in an over grilled ciabatta roll. The kids meal was equally poor, dried up peas served in a rusty mug, 3 nuggets and the tiniest portion of chips. The little touches are also poor, cheap and nasty ketchup from a burger van squeezy tomato. Not great at all, even more so because I regularly visit the Chepstow and Gloucester lounges.

Very good. Lovely staff! I had Lounge eggs and a flat white here. The eggs were a little on the overdone side, but it was overall very good.

You order food from your table using an app or scanning QRcode. Delivery is very prompt, so good service. Limited menu but good quality and value. Good for kids. Recommended.

Stopped in for an evening meal and whilst the food was ok and I would visit again, the burger fries and coleslaw looked nothing like the picture on the website

Really delicious food and reasonably priced too, food came out nice and quickly too. Free water dispenser was available too which I thought was a nice touch. Would definitely go again!

What a great discovery. One of a series of lounges with a comprehensive menu, including excellent gluten free options. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant is clearly popular and well used, with provision of activities for small children, always a good idea

Another great Lounge ticked off the list. Love the atmosphere of these places and the food is always excellent with a brilliant gluten free menu. Friendly staff and not too expensive. Eat inside, upstairs or outside, right near the centre of town with a car park and bus stop nearby.

Service was good. staff were friendly. Food was good for a chain. Had a tapas to share and got given dirty plates. They were washed but had food stuck on them. Need to check them more thoroughly.

I didnt expect raw prawns. I do love the Estero Lounge but sadly the only disappointment is the food menu. Yes I know its the same across the chain but across the chain it's the same problem....the food. It really lets the chain amd the place down. I really dont find it tasty or even good. It's below average. I cant fault the manager for apologising and refunding me for the food but raw prawns... ome on thats slack. The chilli isn't spicy and the slow cooked pork is just appauling..across the chain id love a fresh approach to tbe cusine. Sack the group chef or just go back to tbe drawing board and also give each lounge some autonomy or special anything and i mean anything something different steaks, peri chicken, decent portions. Start again I beg you

Food quality has deteriorated since last coming here which is about 8 months ago.

What an amazing place to dine in so beautiful and atmospheric! The food was amazing,service was fantastic all staff friendly and welcoming. Given a table by the window upstairs so we could people watch. Ordering is easy can be done through the app using a QR code. Food did not take long to arrive and was amazing. I noticed how family friendly it was too a few people with children. These family had games provided or children given activities fantastic idea. I will definitely visit again

1st visit but won't be my last. Friendly staff, comfy seating and stunning food.

So great to have this much choice for people who are coeliac and with staff who understand allergies/food limitations. We've not seen our daughter so trusting or happy eating out for a very long time. Thank you- would recommend for anyone, but definitely good for people with allergies or coeliac 👌

Recently visited the Estero Lounge and had a really nice time, had a great server named George who checked on us regularly and was lovely to speak to. Really made our experience and will definitely be back for the good food and service!

Very good food. Delicious even and very well decorated. However the food is quite pricey and the chip sizes are minuscule. Even so the quality of food makes up for it.

Come here every time we come up to the Forest of Dean. Absolutely beautiful food, with every single meal we have ever had.

It’s not very often I leave a bad review, but I had an absolutely awful experience at Estero in Monmouth. Firstly, we were not greeted upon entry and waited for over 10mins before going to find a member of staff to actually see to us. The sign isn’t very accurate advising that they won’t be long. There was 8 of us (plus a baby) eating and each couple ordered separately via the QR code on the table. I would say we all ordered within the same 5 mins, but mine and my partners food arrived at least 15mins, possibly 20mins after everyone else’s which was not great. People did wait initially but we urged them to continue eating to save their meals going cold. By the time our food arrived, everyone else had finished eating. I ordered the fish finger sandwich which was firstly completely cold upon arrival, but the chips were boiling hot so can only assume the sandwich was left waiting for the chips to finish cooking. Inside the fish finger sandwich, there was literally 2 fish fingers, one and a half fish fingers per half. This is shocking, the rest of the sandwich was stuffed with lettuce which also tasted off and did not look good at all. I also ordered onion rings and these were stone cold and rock hard. I ate one and then didn’t bother with the rest. The toilets were in a terrible state, definitely not cleaned regularly as the signage in there suggests and there was also a literal human poo on the floor in the men’s in the toilet cubicle. We did report this to the staff who did apologise, but no one came to sort this in at least the half an hour from us reporting it to us leaving which is quite poor. The service was also really bad. We had a blonde waitress who had a multicoloured lanyard and she seemed to have no personality whatsoever. She slammed the food down upon arrival (not infront of the right person, more next to people for us to sort) and after this she walked off immediately and we couldn’t even get the chance to ask for sauces or anything as she was gone. Throughout the whole meal no one came to ask us how the food was or anything, and as you pre pay on the app there was no staff interaction at all after the food was dropped off. If this was paid for at the end of the meal, I would have objected to paying for the fish finger sandwich due to the fact it was stone cold and a complete rip off having 2 fish fingers in there. I would have also not paid for the onion rings as they were inedible. I left feedback from a email link and also separately emailed the restaurant but have had no one come back to me to even apologise. Based on my experience, I really would not reccomend going here at all.

Fabulous place right in the heart of historic Monmouth. Good food, great drinks and fabulous service. Wonderful atmosphere with nice decor. I will be back soon.

Loved it here!!!! Wonderful atmosphere, love the quirky decor, especially the amazing chandeliers upstairs. Full gluten free menu. Fast service, excellent quality, portions just right.

Staff friendly, nice surroundings, ordered the lamb, mint tsazike with pitta bread, but got a thick pizza base which wouldn't cut. Understaffed on a busy Blake Theatre night.

Went for dinner on a Monday. The main course was not good, small and poor tasting. I should have been a starter. I am lucky I do not live in the area so will not have to go back.

We are regulars to Estero in Monmouth (although we actually live in Ross) and just wanted to say that all the Team do an excellent job - Customer Service is top notch.... with a special note mentioning Becky....ALWAYS cheerful, friendly and professional. They also serve Excellent coffee and hot chocholate. Out of all the places to have coffee in Monmouth, Ross and Hereford - Estero comes out on top. Well done guys and thanks Peter & Angela

Lovely food. I came in Sunday night just before kitchen closed. Expecting a rushed meal. Food came quick and was delicious. I would recommend this place for food. Salt and pepper squid in tapas 👍👌

Great place. Burgers 🍔 fabulous, but didn't know you had to order at the bar. Super busy, Atmosphere funky and hip.

A welcoming wonderful place. The food is excellent. The Vanilla and white chocolate cheesecake is wow. Breakfast bap is perfection. All sizes of Breakfast. The staff are so helpful. There are 3 steps upto more seating. Accessible toilet. Dogs welcomed.

Excellent lunch. Four of us were very happy with our choices. The lunch menu was extensive, with something for everyone. The vegan menu was also extensive, as opposed to an afterthought.

We ate here a number of times during our holiday. Excellent food and fast service. Food allergies were taken into account. The downside is the loud music, which sometimes made conversation with a table companion a bit difficult.

Much like many of the lounges, good food and good price. Family friendly for coffee or food too. Can't go too far wrong with one of the lounges. Service was quick once ordered, probably best to order on the app to get served quickly.

Please bring back brewdog beers! The Brixton is not as good in any way!! One has flavour, one tastse like carbonated water. Other wise keep doing the do!

Nipped into Monmouth on our way back from Wales to the Midlands and dropped in for a spot of lunch. I can honestly say the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend the Tapas 😃

Staff ignored us when we were waiting to be seated even though the place was empty. We asked for a high chair which the waitress said she would get one and we never was given one. Having to get one ourselves while the staff watched us. Wouldn’t be coming again.

My partner and I had another lovely meal when shopping in Monmouth. Although it was very busy the service was good and the food was superb as always.

Can't rate the food as only popped in for drinks but the atmosphere was first class and the staff so friendly and polite, will definitely visit again, highly recommended!!

Wow, The service here is always absolutely amazing the staff are always on point and nothing is ever too much trouble. I normally go with a large group of adults woth mixed abilities a group of 10+ without booking and the staff go above and beyond to help us find tables and settle. The food is also always tasty and we have had no really complaints, my only observation is for me the burgers are small so I add an extra burger in ans sometimes order extra chips as they come in a silly mug which us already half filled woth grease proof paper so on count you get about 12 to 14 chips sometimes less. Honestly though the food tastes great and is always fresh and hot. The chefs must be on fire in this heat. ( 29 degrees) Deserts are OK again rather small for the price and kinda average I'm my opinion but I know plenty that absolutely love them. I had the sticky toffee pudding, it was like a ginger cake with sauce rather then the better know sticky toffee pudding, definitely could have eaten two 😋 Drinks yep again always super great and made with love. Will be going back and highly recommend. We'll done and thank you to all staff it's no easy job and you always go the extra step.

We called for lunch whilst visiting Monmouth, led by the good reviews on Google. The overall experience was fine - speedy service, amiable staff & reasonable food for the money. The menu is an eclectic, cover-all offer of brunch dishes, tapas, burgers, grills etc, with kids & the coffee & cake clientele catered for also. It’s a big spot with a slightly odd, vintage style decor (granny sofas, faux portraits) & we were a bit put off initially by the number of tables still laden with the detritus of previous diners. Food was a mixed bag, ranging from poor to very tasty, but wines were good & prices reasonable.

Stopped off for some food after canoeing on the Wye, chose the Lounge as not had a bad meal in any of the Lounge's we have visited and this didn't disappoint. Boys raved about the burgers and the better half said the steak was delicious. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the haloumi fries, kalamari tapas, meatballs and Chicken salad. The service was great.

Our group of 3 visited Estero Lounge for breakfast. Service was fast, kind and professional. Food was great: very tasty with some extra pieces I haven’t seen elsewhere. Place was clean and spacious. Ofc as like in any other chain - coffee was average. But I’m used to that so nothing new. Still: I can recommend Estero Lounge if your looking to place for breakfast in Manmouth.

Located on the main street in Monmoth. We had a table for three on a quiet lunchtime during a week day. Easy food and drink online ordering and swift service. We enjoyed the tapas offer.

Great local cafe and meeting place. Also a mellow place to work with great WiFi and good brews on tap.

As a non-plant based eater, I was pleasantly surprised.. the almond croissants are amazing! My partner, who is plant based loved the blt ciabatta.

Great place! We love the Lounges (we have also been to Lounges in other cities) as they have dedicated glutenfree menus, which is heaven for me.We had the paoched eggs with avocadro, chorizo and peppers which was delicous. The place is huge while being cosy at the same time! It was well-visited and we will definitely come again!

So impressed that I was asked if I had any allergies when we were presented with a menu and then before I was given a gluten free menu, the waiter actually said 'I just need to wash my hands first as I have been serving beer with gluten in it!' SO IMPRESSED😁

As with all lounges, this one is just as superb, myself and my niece had a lovely lunch, you make my fav so well. Eggs benidict with the added bonus of cheezy chips,, when i visit again i know where to go,,,, if youare in town this ia a lovely chill place for a munch

I came here with friends on Thurs 6th July for lunch. We were welcomed by a member of staff who showed us to a table. Our witress was friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our food was delicious with so many different flavours coming through and the portions were very generous. The service was good so all in all a great first time experience. I will definitely recommend it.

We had planned to enjoy a lovely meal here but had to leave as the people at the neighbouring table seemed unable to prevent their dog from roaming around and barking.

I really enjoyed singing at the open mic at Estero Lounge last night my own originals. Wonderful venue and lovely audience
