Two Brewers in Bridgend

It's an alright place. The kitchen wasn't open when I was visiting. Went there for a drink as a farewell to one of our workforce retiring. It was very busy and the bar staff did what they could to serve everyone.

Great atmosphere in pub after our games and with sky sports it a Saturday and a Sunday for me Going forward yay. Also has a great club night out with Brackla FC last month with Ella singing Highly recommend going for a few Jars here

I can't say enough good things about this pub! The landlady was so nice and made us feel right at home with her warm hospitality. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the staff were lovely and the wait time was very short. It's a perfect spot for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most beautiful pubs I have ever been in the Sunday dinner are out of this world,the bar staff absolutely lovely,friendly and overall lovely people I’m telling you now this is the best food pub in south wales!!

Waited longer than 51min to receive our meals. When I asked can we have any type of credit as we go to Marstons often, the lady checked with someone and came back with ‘you can have a free pudding’. My 88 year old father and 70 year old mother and I said ‘We can’t stay any longer sorry!’… the lady walked away and did not have any other suggestions. The excuse for such a long wait was that ‘the new chef had a meltdown’. Even so, we felt more could have been done such as a credit of some sort. VERY disappointed.

Fantastic lunch and very welcoming, service was great and our 8 kids had a great time in the the play area.would certainly come again.

We went as a family for food and was greeted by a staff member who showed us where to sit we had a drink whilst waiting for our food which only took 5 minutes or so to come out and the food was outstanding I would 100% recommend going here for the quality of food and prices are great and the staff couldn’t do anymore to help as they were amazing will be back again soon

This is a great spot for lunch. We loved the great selection of food on the menu and really reasonable prices! It’s a really lovely pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back have dinner and bingo!

Food was fab and the service wasn’t tht good and I wouldn’t go there for a party

First time visiting and it'll be the last time, we was a walkin- i was told either Sunday roast or burgers and they do dippers or burger for kids. Partner went up and ordered a cowboy burger and a cheese burger then our little one a burger. 2 double cheese burger came out? No idea what happened. Werent offered cutlery or any sauces so when i come back from toiket from our daughter i had to then go and ask for cutlery and sauces etc. We were hungry so didn't want to complain. Toilet door in females didn't lock and there small! Seemed as if you weren't a regular don't bother showing up more then anything🤷‍♀️. Staff looked quite new aswell, but won't be coming again only cause we was in the area we came. Well go somewhere else next time.

Sunday lunch is amazing, all fresh produce. A lovely variety of vegetables. The yorkshire puddings are perfect. Great quality, and excellent value for money. Portion sizes are fantastic too. Always cater for my allergies. Would highly recommend The Two Brewers, for meals. Well done to Sam and the staff.

Waited a long time at the bar to be served. Although I wasn't the last to arrive, every single other person was served before me. Felt like being overlooked in favour of regulars. My friend felt the same. Drinks themselves ok, atmosphere nice and chilled. Toilets awful - of 3 ladies loos, one didn't lock, one didn't have a toilet seat, one was dirty and didn't have toilet paper. Food service is apparently until 8pm, but stopped more like 7.30pm so a friend who arrived a bit later (7.45) was unable to order. Website has a table booking function which doesn't work and says the venue is always closed.

I had the most wonderful Sunday dinner with my son. We decided to have a Sunday dinner out of the blue. We arrived to be greeted by very happy staff and the table was laid up beautifully. The food was of excellent quality. The pride in the presentation we clear to see. I enjoyed myself. We went back to have a lunch a few days later. I had the most delicious cowboy burger and my friend had fish and chips. It was to die for. I would recommend anyone in the area to attend for a fun afternoon and good food . We even caught the artist on the Sunday by chance. It was the fabulous Chloe-Mai. She was out of this world. You have to go to this pub it's fantastic

A wonderful experience. I arrived by chance at the pub and had a wonderful reception. A old fashioned community led pub. I ordered food. I had fish and chips and my mate had hunters chicken. Beautiful. Very warm welcome from Sam and her staff. They have sky coming soon so we will be coming back very soon. Food excellent, looking forward to our return

We went to meet friends. I had the most wonderful time. The artist was out of this world, and we had a Sunday lunch that was being served by chance. It was beautiful. Staff where welcoming and the food was fantastic. If your in the area make sure you come along for a community experience and great food. Sam was a super host

Revisited today after the recent change in owner. got good deals on for different days of the week. So pretty good value. Potions were very good. Staff are very friendly.

Had the best Sunday dinner today the pork was to die for it was succulent and tasty if you want a nice Sunday roast you need to try them out the staff were also very helpful as my grandchildren do not like Sunday dinners so they cooked them a different meal Sunday the 29th Sept the service was great bought everything out on a large trolley so we all had our dinner together guys you rock we will be back a big thank you from us

Arrived with half hour wait as grill not working . Only to have , no ice for the drinks , no milk for the coffee, food arrived with no chicken and egg on the mixed grill . Complained , we can have a free pudding , we don't want a pudding thank you , we would like a discount . To be told we don't do discounts , we can give you a voucher for next time , after that service and the food there won't be a next time . Avoid

Disgusting ,basic food, rock hard baguette filled with meat you could buy in 99p pack from tesco. Mo cuttlery or sauces provided when given food either. Waste of money

Every time I have had food you it has been so good it’s one of my favourite pubs in Bridgend. It’s very quick service and the food comes out very hot and very quick would recommend to everyone and I will be eating here again some time x

A warm welcome from polite staff who were happy to help with any questions! Great food, came out in good time, fresh and hot exactly as it should be. Excellent burgers! Bit more volume on the music around the place would add to the atmosphere. Will definitely return for great value delicious meals and the week night deals.

Booked the brewers for food for Mother’s Day . 7 of us attended , all ordered different meals . Food was outstanding, served quickly by friendly staff and other staff and customers very friendly. I had scampi . Plenty of it and really fresh and tasty . Highly recommended

We met family here for Sunday lunch. Some of us had been before and said they’d enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch on that occasion. Well we certainly didn’t on this occasion. The four adults had the beef which although edible was very tough. The child had the turkey but didn’t eat it. The veg - broccoli, sprouts and carrots again was edible but tasteless. Yorkshire puddings were good as was the gravy., Would we come again? Well I can only speak for myself when I say emphatically - NO.

Had a brilliant meet and greet santa 🎅 for the kids with breakfast included. Our annual family get together brilliantly catered for 20 plus by the friendly staff. Value for money decent food. Highly recommended.

5 Sunday roast dinners to takeaway at 1230. I picked them up .They were really nice. The vegetables were not from frozen packs but all fresh and ample. The meat was lovely too . No complaints. Staff there are happy and sociable. Many thanks .

A few weeks ago, on the spur of the moment as I was passing, I decided to stop off for a drink on my way home. I had visited the Two Brewers many years ago when under different management and on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and Siobhan, who served me, was chatty, friendly and very pleasant and chatty. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the quality of the foods I saw passing by me looked very appetising and I will definitely come back again to have some of the lovely food cooked by their Chef. Recommended.

Sunday lunch at the Two Brewers is absolutely to die for. The lamb was perfect, roasties amazing and gravy even better. All staff were attentive.

We had my granddaughters christening party here, food was delicious & plenty of it. The staff were fantastic, especially Nicola. She Co-ordinated the whole event with my daughter & was extremely helpful, Nicola was present throughout the whole party to make sure everything went without a hitch. Thank you so much for making my granddaughter’s day so special.

Under new management, and a massive improvement. The food is certainly much better than before. All freshly cooked to order.

Six of us had lunch here. Four opted for the fish and chips. Now chain restaurants normally serve up bought in fish in batter. Not the Two Brewers which is under new management. The fish was huge, fresh and cooked in a lovely crispy batter. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the serving staff are lovely here. Such a change for this establishment because for years it was pretty dire. We booked again before we left.

The staff were really welcoming with great service. The food was lovely along with a great atmosphere. Also has a nice park for kids to play, my two really enjoyed it. Definitely return soon

Saturday evening, Wales playing South Africa on tv, Sunny weather. The place is jumping with atmosphere. Ordered a meal, sirloin steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff and the manager were perfect. Thanks we enjoyed our evening.

Stopped going here a while ago after having a rough couple of meals which was a shame as it’s a nice pub with a great atmosphere.. decided to give it another ago and WOW what a difference.. watched the football and shared a table with a couple of friendly guys.. tried the roast beef which was perfect followed by treacle sponge again delicious. It’s obviously under new management and as it’s within walking distance for us will definitely be back very soon when out walking the dogs to pop in for a cheeky pint or call in for a bit of lunch.
