Booked the brewers for food for Mother’s Day . 7 of us attended , all ordered different meals . Food was outstanding, served quickly by friendly staff and other staff and customers very friendly. I had scampi . Plenty of it and really fresh and tasty . Highly recommended

5* Had Sunday lunch for mothers day, the food was lovely and the service was brilliant. Even had a free glass of Prosecco for Mothers Day. Will be back again

We met family here for Sunday lunch. Some of us had been before and said they’d enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch on that occasion. Well we certainly didn’t on this occasion. The four adults had the beef which although edible was very tough. The child had the turkey but didn’t eat it. The veg - broccoli, sprouts and carrots again was edible but tasteless. Yorkshire puddings were good as was the gravy., Would we come again? Well I can only speak for myself when I say emphatically - NO.

Had a brilliant meet and greet santa 🎅 for the kids with breakfast included. Our annual family get together brilliantly catered for 20 plus by the friendly staff. Value for money decent food. Highly recommended.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch there today. Roast beef was amazing,plenty of everything. And hot. Will definitely go again and will definitely recommend to all. Compliments to the chef and staff.

5 Sunday roast dinners to takeaway at 1230. I picked them up .They were really nice. The vegetables were not from frozen packs but all fresh and ample. The meat was lovely too . No complaints. Staff there are happy and sociable. Many thanks .

A few weeks ago, on the spur of the moment as I was passing, I decided to stop off for a drink on my way home. I had visited the Two Brewers many years ago when under different management and on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and Siobhan, who served me, was chatty, friendly and very pleasant and chatty. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the quality of the foods I saw passing by me looked very appetising and I will definitely come back again to have some of the lovely food cooked by their Chef. Recommended.

Sunday lunch at the Two Brewers is absolutely to die for. The lamb was perfect, roasties amazing and gravy even better. All staff were attentive.

We had my granddaughters christening party here, food was delicious & plenty of it. The staff were fantastic, especially Nicola. She Co-ordinated the whole event with my daughter & was extremely helpful, Nicola was present throughout the whole party to make sure everything went without a hitch. Thank you so much for making my granddaughter’s day so special.

Under new management, and a massive improvement. The food is certainly much better than before. All freshly cooked to order.

Six of us had lunch here. Four opted for the fish and chips. Now chain restaurants normally serve up bought in fish in batter. Not the Two Brewers which is under new management. The fish was huge, fresh and cooked in a lovely crispy batter. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the serving staff are lovely here. Such a change for this establishment because for years it was pretty dire. We booked again before we left.

The staff were really welcoming with great service. The food was lovely along with a great atmosphere. Also has a nice park for kids to play, my two really enjoyed it. Definitely return soon

Saturday evening, Wales playing South Africa on tv, Sunny weather. The place is jumping with atmosphere. Ordered a meal, sirloin steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff and the manager were perfect. Thanks we enjoyed our evening.

Go there every week, Jeremy and his staff never fail to make you feel welcome. Had the special 'Rising Sun' beer tonight, was outstanding, a recommendation at least, a must for real ale fans! Stopped going here a while ago after having a rough couple of meals which was a shame as it’s a nice pub with a great atmosphere.. decided to give it another ago and WOW what a difference.. watched the football and shared a table with a couple of friendly guys.. tried the roast beef which was perfect followed by treacle sponge again delicious. It’s obviously under new management and as it’s within walking distance for us will definitely be back very soon when out walking the dogs to pop in for a cheeky pint or call in for a bit of lunch.

Absolute shocking. Went into this pub before Christmas and loved it. Vibrant atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. The landlady was fab. I believe she has left amd can't ypu tell. The oub has no atmosphere, no wine, kitchen was closed woth staff issues. On a Saturday night too! The staff did not seem happy at all. The new male manager stood what a fight broke up and left the team sort it out, to which one young gentleman settled it but what a bizmall of a place. A shame to see as it was on the up and a pub being spoken about for all the right reason. Should never have got rid of the lady manager.

Haven't been here for a long time so me and my partner decided to go for food, we were the 2nd group there to order food... I ordered the nachos with some supposed to be spicy chicken and my partner ordered the peri peri chicken with mash ( their fryer wasn't working) and coleslaw. We got there at 12.10 and never got our food till 13.20.. when it turned up I couldn't believe it.. my partner had a frilled chicken breast ( plain not peri peri ) a spoon full of mash and a small amount of coleslaw :/ it was £9 .. mine well it was missing half the stuff, no spring onions no avocado and the salsa wasn't salsa and it was literally about 5 small cubes of chicken it was £11 I think ( paid extra for chicken) We just ate what we could and left. Wont be going back in a hurry... maybe for a drink

Absolutely shocking experience..booked for a table for 6 for 8.30pm, was there early and told 'just sit anywhere', had to arrange out own tables to accomodate, then went to order at 8.25, kept waiting at bar, finally served at 8.31pm and told the kitchen had shut 1 minute earlier so no food for us! Asked to speak to a manager and the bar staff laughed in my face, 'who's the manager?!'!! What a tryly unprofessional, shoddy, low rate service...never grace the doors of this pub, it truly is appaling!!

Me and my partner came out for food. Would highly recommend. We both had chicken and bacon pasta cook by Martin 5/5. The service on bar was amazing aswell both jasmine and the manager was both really inactive with customers and friendly.

I am so lucky to have this place as my local. Whenever I visit the welcome is warm and friendly. The place is immaculately clean and the Male and Female facilities the same. The staff go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant one and the food is always cooked to perfection and looks good on the plate. Great value for money plenty of choice to cater for all.

Ordered to takeaway, so it was boxed on collection. I ordered the Taveners Chicken it was supposed to come with onion rings none were given, the skin on fries were barely cooked and had a spoonful of peas. Only giving 2 stars because the chicken was okay at least.

I went with my friend who seems to know everybody there. It is clean and has a very friendly atmosphere. Sometimes they organise bbq weekends and coming up will be a treasure hunt for children for a day, so I assume it is child friendly. I will surely be going again.

Went to two brewers on Tuesday 13th July which happens to be Steak night what a brilliant deal £20 for 2 steaks and drink each James was cooking and both meals where cooked to perfection well done James also bar service from Emily was excellent...

Pleasant staff with excellent food

Not great, cheap food, but sent out wrong drinks and wrong food. This was after a long wait. Will not be visiting again until I read about some improvements.

Our daughter and partner have just moved to the area and we thought we'd check out the nearest pub for food. Great staff, great food, very busy. Great value. Well be back.
