The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Gwynedd North Wales

The worst experience I have ever experienced the way the she made coffee and behave was unexpected I clearly asked her for the sweet coffee she made me unsweetened and for the second time I asked her for the sweet coffee again she served me the awful one she was very rude. I don’t think anyone come there after seeing that kind of customer service behavior…..

Really excellent fish and chips, but the most expensive I've had in my life. Atmosphere want so great inside, but the garden was lovely.

lovely bar, love the karaoke and bar tender Sarah was fantastic!

We popped in for a snack and had jacket potato with tune mayo and my husband had chips, sausage and egg. Both dishes were well cooked and well presented. We also had two hot chocolates which were delicious. The lady who served us was lovely and very pleasant. We enjoyed our meals very much and look forward to our return.

Stayed here for two nights.great hosts great breakfast.terrible room I'm not going to go into detail but don't stay in room 10.especislly if your a big person we made a comment about how poor the room was and the owners don't seem to care.

We didn’t stay but we called in for breakfast. They were shut or at full capacity. An amazing lady named Sarah on front of house provided us sandwiches and coffee and was an absolute star! Extremely welcoming and lovely. Thank you Sarah! We will 100% be looking to come and stay here in the future!

This is a pretty poor cakery/ ice cream parlour. They often don’t have the cakes advertised and mostly don’t have the most popular ice creams, to top it all the staff are miserable and take absolutely ages to serve 🙄 Oh and if you’re after a coffee they are good but check you have a full cup before you leave the counter or you have to queue again for an hour to have it filled up.

Fantastic pub and the food was great . Dog friendly too .

The price was reasonable, the quantity was good, and the taste was delicious. This was a great help as the surrounding pubs stopped serving food in the evening. The staff was also kind and kind!

We were welcomed by the owner and his dog. Dogs are welcome and allowed in the restaurant. There were no problems. All the dogs behaved impeccably - and more importantly the food was really good. We had delicious prawns followed by perfect fillet steak and a veggie burger - all tastes catered for! The wine was very good and a decent price. Be aware that children are not catered for. It is for grown ups. For us it was the best food in the area - and so nice not to have to sit and eat in the bar - as dog owners are so used to having to do.

Very unfriendly and rude towards me ruined my day as I was innocently sat there minding my own business and I got aggressively verbally attacked by a rude woman

I asked what the filling was on one of the sandwiches and the assistant said ‘hummus and mushroom ‘. I said yes please that would suit me fine ( I am vegetarian) . It cost just under £5. My husband chose a sandwich too and his too was just under £5. The assistant then thrust the card machine at us and asked if we wanted to give her a tip. Presumably for selling us the ready made sandwiches. When my husband hesitated she rudely asked our daughter , who was behind us in the queue, to explain to us what we needed to press ! We then walked to the beach to eat our sandwiches. Only to find my hummus and mushroom sandwich was in fact chicken and bacon ! I was left with no lunch !

We always visit this cafe when in Porthmadog. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. My wife has food intolerances but they always try to accommodate. The manager is especially helpful and friendly. The food is excellent, and cakes are really good. I have noticed some negative reviews on here regarding waiting times, this is a holiday town that gets very busy, the staff work exceptionally hard. Just relax, enjoy the moment, what’s the rush? Would definitely recommend this cafe.
