Better quality food and nicer service since the owners have changed. A young woman running the place now if so much better. The shop looks and smells cleaner the food tastes better. I definitely will be going back for my breakfast baps. 10/10

A great local chippy just a 20-minute walk from the town centre. Popped in one midweek afternoon. Good service and very good fish & chips. Reasonably priced and delicious too! Recommended.

This place was recommended to us by a local. Ordered on the phone for collection. Order was ready on time. Food was outstanding especially the garlic cheese bread. Really good service despite how busy they were.

Only had breakfast. Typical Premier Inn buffet. Food reasonable. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing! Went in with a dead phone after getting lost the very kind women behind the till lent me a phone charger. The coffee and cake was incredible and super reasonably priced.

Loved this course, it's all in front of you and is links golf, 9 away 9 back type course so feels so spread out. Fairways and greens good quality, lots of little red stakes in areas you feel hard done by for a penalty but great condition and would love to go back.

Had lunch here today, we went for the shared fried seafood platter and were extremely disappointed, firstly not an adequate amount of food for 2, calamari was tasteless and very chewy, scampi also tasteless, just 2 deep fried tiny prawns, whitebait ok but over fried, the salad with it was very sad looking not very fresh at all, brown pieces of lettuce. Not a very pleasant lunch indeed x

We were in town exploring the area and had dinner here. We received excellent service but our main reason for reviewing was to comment on the quality of the food. We started with the garlic bread - it was delicious and the garlic seemed very fresh. My wife had a garden salad with her entree and she commented on the freshness of the tomatoes and other ingredients. I took a couple of samples and agreed that it was very flavorful. My wife had their flat bread of the day which was roasted asparagus with buffalo mozzarella. She thought the entree was delicious and she commented again on the ingredients. I went with their steak and welsh ale pie and was delighted by both the pastry top and the fillings - it was much better than a similar pie I had had earlier in Cheltenham at a higher end restaurant. We finished with their chef dessert which was a homemade rhubarb and apple crumble - the crumble and the flavor were very good. Overall we will eat here again during our short stay and would recommend the restaurant to others seeking well prepared quality food.

Really nice food and very friendly staff. We had an amazing Welsh breakfast with coffee and our dog Charlie had a nice sausage from the dog's menu 🥰 really nice atmosphere, we'll be back 😊 thank you so much ❤️

We were staying in the area and this restaurant came up after a quick google search for a Sunday lunch. I can honestly say it was the most amazing Sunday carvery I’ve had. There was such a good choice of meats, potatoes, vegetables and sides The restaurant and furnishings were fabulous. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We took our visiting family there for a special treat. Paid for the car park onlu to find the place closed. I had made sure to check it was open before we decided to go there as it was a long drive. Said it was open on the internet and even on the door at the restaurant. Very annoying.

The restaurant was quite busy, felt a bit too much for only 2 servers, but once the orders were in the food came out quite quick! Everything was super flavourful, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal after exploring Anglesey. Thought of trying the hotpot, but have to pay per ingredient so we had a few dishes to share. The menu is very extensive for Sichuan cuisine, so there will definitely be something for everyone’s tastes.

One of our favourite bars in the area when visiting our caravan , called today for a drink and food to be told that the kitchen is now closed and they no longer serve food , sadly I feel it could be the end for the bar unless someone takes it on , it would normally be busy at lunchtime but it was empty
