BJ's Chippy in Gwynedd

A great local chippy just a 20-minute walk from the town centre. Popped in one midweek afternoon. Good service and very good fish & chips. Reasonably priced and delicious too! Recommended.

I went to Caernarfon for the first time last Friday. Decided to get fish and chips for lunch and just went to the nearest fish and chip shop to where I was working. Glad I did. Never had better.

Tasty fish and chips! Even better that the fish skin had been removed before frying! We called in on our way back from walking in Beddgelert. Service was quick and efficient. Would call again!

Turned up 10 mins before they closed but they were still more than happy to sort food for me, wonderful people, excellent food.

Lovely local chippie serving up one of the best fish and chips i have had in Caernarfon. Reasonably priced and next door to a Spar for your bread and butter... :-)

Excellent chippy. Seriously nice fish, sausage and chips, perfect texture, flavor and moisture. Amazing peas and curry sauces. Good honest rustic place, old school, reasonably priced, friendly staff and excellent quality. Oh… and you don’t wait 3/4 of an hour like so called “best chippy in Caernarfon” (it’s not).

an unassuming chip shop but it really delivers .. the gentleman who runs it is a delight, a laugh .. so was his helper who was studying in Uni in Carmarthen as i write i chomp away .. cant say more ..

visit here often as its our local chippy,family run for some years as was the previous owners,been going there since i was a little girl,lovely welcome always and amazing fish&chips

Great local chippy, decent prices nd friendly staff. Food is always spot o, parking available outside.

Camping nearby we called in here for fish and Chips. I think it was £4.90 for Fish and Chips brilliant ! They tasted great.

Possibly one of the worst chip shops I've ever used. Chips were more like Scrap all dried out. The oil that both fish and the chips where cooked in is horrible and leaves an ever lasting greasy taste in your mouth. The fish itself was ok but the batter was tasteless. The Vinegar was watered down. Staff were very friendly. Just a shame the chips let them down

Whilst on holiday, my family got fish and chips from here - I had battered sausage and chips and the others all had battered cod and chips. We all enjoyed our meals very much, lovely proper 'chip shop' chips, all well cooked and very very tasty! Good service too!

Lovely fish and chips great value for money only couple of minutes drive from the riverside campsite

spent the whole day walking Snowdon and when i came down this was the first place i went to. it was very traditional and very tasty

Visitamos mientras camping en Riverside. Había estado lloviendo así que preferimos no cocinar. El pescado estaba preparado a pedido y las patatas fritas eran frescas y no aguados. Fue una gran comida que comimos en nuestra tienda, la cual estaba a 5 minutos en coche.

This is one of the best chippies around and I should know as I am a chipaholic! The owners are always welcoming and everything is always served hot and fresh. I think they are very reasonably priced.
