Food was over priced and generally not that great. The chips were good

It WAS a chippy, but now it's a Chinese called the " Yummy" or something like that. ( Even though is named as a chippy on Google maps ) Food average chips, fish fine, luminescent green mushy peas, vegetable burger on batch quite good

Really good food, but waiting time is awful. Put a phone order in and was told 20 mins, 50 mins later I'm still waiting for my food!!!

We visited Yummy Box a few times while we were on holiday. The food was really delicious, and the staff were lovely. Really good value.

It was ok. First time we used them. It's cash only. We ordered sweet & sour chicken balls, chicken chow mein, seaweed, chicken curry and a side of chips. The chips were excellent, very tasty. Each Chinese dish tasted exactly the same, just very salty. Neither the chicken curry or chicken chow mein had any flavour at all, very bland and tasteless apart from the salt. The chippy was very busy on a Friday evening, we were told it would be ready in 20 minutes but it was more like 40 minutes. Unlikely we will go back.

Absolutely must try. Fresh foods, very tasty, chowmein and sour chicken delicious.

Nice fish and chips, just call and order first otherwise you will have a wait as its all cooked fresh

What you would expect from a Chippy but very tasty, the chips were a bit bitty, end of the potatoes I would say. .

I have worked here over the summer - the food is cooked from fresh and the shop is under new management.

I went in here to get a takeaway lunch for me and Hubby on Tuesday. The young Chinese chap who took over this business in February was very friendly. I bought 2 large portions of chips, 1 portion of mushy peas & 1 portion of gravy which came to £5.25 which I thought was very reasonable for the quantity size. Taste-wise, the chips were about average, the peas were OK and the gravy was nice and thick.

Visited this chip shop whilst we were on holiday at Hafan Y Môr. Food portions were massive and all at great prices. The chips were absolutely amazing! Staff were friendly and the store was clean. Will definitely come here again when we’re next in Pwllheli.

by far the best chippy in town. the new owner took over and was nice enough to keep all the staff on from the previous owner. the chips are stunning and not only is it the cheapest in town its the tastiest. its best to park in asdas and walk to it as its difficult to park in the season, it can get busy there but that's only because the food is so good. they have loads of specials. worth the wait every time

We drove past this place and the sign tempted us in... Small fish and chips for £3.30 seemed a winner with the kids. The portion size was far better than I expected for the price and the fish was a decent size aswell. Even after a car journey of 10 mins the chips and batter sill had a bit of a crispiness to them. The staff were friendly and the food was served up in no time...can't recommend this place enough for a chippy tea.

Just had the best fish and chips at this little tucked away take away. The welcome we received when we arrived by the lady was lovely and welcoming. We both had cod and chips cooked fresh to order I had mushy peas with mine. Batter was crispy and not to thick. Chips were cooked perfect and hot juicy mushy peas. What a find, yummy !!

Have been Peckish loads but tried this little chippy. Bloody amazing it is. So if your passing by nip in they are good. Check for open times.

We have been in here before, encouraged by the hoops reviews and had good service and food. On this occasion the fish wad cooked fresh in front of us but both it and the chips were soggy and greasy. The worst of all though wad the jacket potato with beans. The beans were an odd colour and the potato hard and tasteless. We both tried it and it went in the nearest bin. I hope this wad only a one off day.

This is the best Chippy around with tasty fish and chips cooked fresh in front of you. The portions are good and great value for money. The staff are pleasant giving a fast friendly service

Great little find in Pwllheli. Quick service with a smile. Tasty & super fresh cod, fried in batter. Good chips - not soggy or too big. All washed down with a coke on a sheltered bench, overlooking the sea.

Este tiene nuevos dueños y yo no estaba seguro de si sería bueno, sin embargo eran las mejores patatas fritas que he probado, es un poco difícil de aparcar en el verano, pero aparte de eso, la comida era fantástica

I went here to get dinner and was very impressed! The food is very fresh and tasty. The workers are kind. The woman gave us a lot of food and an extra sausage. The fish was brilliant too. Best chipper in Pwllheli.

Went in after cooking disaster at home. Ordered food was advised slight delay for fresh chips, staff were very friendly and the food was fresh and reasonably priced. One of the best in Pwllheli often overlooked.

We stopped here as the chinese we wanted to go to was closed. We ordered chips and battered sausages, fish cakes.The chips were rather greasy, it was like they hadn't been drained properly. But apart from that, everything else was good. Friendly service.

First class fish and chips....considering we live by a seaside town anyway, we were blown away by how delicious these were - an absolute must visit if you're after a decent chippy tea :)

We have used this chippy every time we visit the area and the welcome is always with a smile. The service is A1 and the food is cooked fresh as you order. The price is very fair and the taste is one of the best we have had in all our visits to the coast whilst doing sailing events for a meal after a long drive.
