We didn’t stay but we called in for breakfast. They were shut or at full capacity. An amazing lady named Sarah on front of house provided us sandwiches and coffee and was an absolute star! Extremely welcoming and lovely. Thank you Sarah! We will 100% be looking to come and stay here in the future!

Popped in for a quick lunch. Really couldn’t fault it. Simple, tasty, and they even supplied me with 2 sausages for my doggie. As we are local to the area it’s always nice to support local. And I had the special burger, my friends had jacked and a curry, Super impressed. Just sorry I didn’t take photos.

We had coffee and cakes and these were absolutely fine - nothing exceptional but the place was clean & tidy

We just wanted something quick and convenient and were delighted by the quality of the curried chick pea and veg pasty. We are quite particular healthy eaters who can, though, be relaxed about such things when the need arises. But these were moist, delicious, veg filled, wholemeal pastry and ticked a lot of boxes. Washed down with a big cup of tea. The puds also looked good, especially the almond cake, but we managed to resist because the pasties were spot on.

This is a pretty poor cakery/ ice cream parlour. They often don’t have the cakes advertised and mostly don’t have the most popular ice creams, to top it all the staff are miserable and take absolutely ages to serve 🙄 Oh and if you’re after a coffee they are good but check you have a full cup before you leave the counter or you have to queue again for an hour to have it filled up.

Absolutely disgraceful, went in to see my family and Collin the owner was so patronising. Tried telling me I wasn’t old enough to come in when I have I’d with me and I’m far from under 18. Sat down and told me to get out because I didn’t have a mask on (baring in mind I’m exempt)even though not a single person had one out. And as I was have a conversation with someone he was interrupting and being rude. I was last here a year ago and the food had hairs in it,so greasy and just not a nice atmosphere. It has completely ruined my holiday and I only arrived yesterday

After a lovely circular walk up to the falls what more could you want than a warm welcome and hot drink and cafe. Simple cafe serving simple food and drinks but the welcome makes it perfect.

Not been here to eat, but if the yard surrounding the cafe is anything to go by I wouldn’t think of eating there. Someone needs to buy a broom and pick the litter up. It lets this amazing town down badly.

We were drawn in by the tasty sounding menu outside and ended up ordering two classic jacket potatoes with very delicious Welsh Cheese. There are limited seating so at busier times you may need to take out, but we had a nice table by the window. The room was decorated ready for Halloween which was great to see. The two servers were friendly and helpful. If we are in the area again, we will come and say hi 👋- and probably have another jacket potato.

I rarely write reviews but after today felt compelled to do so. We were sat at 1145 and informed kitchen wouldn't be open until 12. Not a problem, we then had a member of staff come over and inform us the kitchen wouldn't open until 1215. Stil not a problem. By 1230 we were chasing down a staff member to be served. We ordered drinks whilst we waited and waited 25 minutes for the hot ones. They did inform us there would be a wait but we didn't expect 25 minutes. By 1330 the food still hadn't arrived, I have worked in restaurants for years so I understand being busy. Our garlic bread and bread and olives arrived finally after an hour, our mains then turned up at least 20 minutes later after us chasing them and being scolded for asking - they were also the incorrect food and when we pointed this out we were berated and told it was our fault. The younger staff were apologetic but the older gentleman shocked us with how utterly rude his behaviour was. We asked to speak to the manager and was informed it was him. We told him we would not be paying for the food and would pay for the drinks and the two kids' meals and starters. We are frequent visitors to the area and own property near by and we will not be returning and will be telling others to avoid. We understand demand and the kitchen running late but rudeness should not be tolerated.
