Great pub, friendly and helpful bar staff, good sized screens for sport and good beer. The clientale know how to enjoy themselves.

All I can say is the prices are very reasonable and and for that new Spanish lager Cruzcampo a real bargain compared to what they charge for the same top beer in Y Castell on Y Maes. Both establishments are of course thoroughly Welsh-speaking of course, which is a fantastic and authentic experience, even replying to me in my tourist Welsh! But then I have been learning it for years back in England.

What can I say, cheapest by far in Caernarfon, staff welcoming irrespective of where you are from, nice atmosphere yet still a welsh pub. Deffo coming here again

Had a great time whilst visiting here, the staff and locals were really welcoming.

Had to sit outside at first as inside 2as full . Two really friendly barmaid organised it so we could all go in together . The prices in The hole in the wall are very reasonable .

We eat locally and always nice to have a well kept beer when out and about, some nights busy and a little loud for a seventy year old but always good polite service.

I was very disappointed that they don’t take card. I don’t carry cash anymore and there are lots of people like me. It’s 2019, get your act together!

On a visit to Cearnafon I popped into the Hole in the Wall pub. I had a really enjoyable time there, I found that the bar staff and customers were extremely friendly and made me feel totally welcome. The prices were very good and to add to it there was also entertainment provided

An interesting cullinary pilosophy! Lovely ambience, excellent food and service ! Brought to Caerfnarfon via Adelaide Aus !! Invited to enjoy the faciltiy at the kindness of my fvavourite relative, An evening to remember, A must for all who enjoly something different and pleasing.

Fantastic place and Kevin, the owner made us feel very welcome, we was on a trip with national holidays. Recommend this place to everyone, cheap beer tastes great I had John Smith's and my better half had Strongbow.

We popped into this place whilst visiting the area. There was a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere and I enjoyed my time there. The owner and staff were very good and they even had a delightful King Charles Spaniel on hand to greet everyone. Their customers were all clearly very nice people who are extremely laid back and friendly. Great to see a nice little pub like that doing well.

Fab, cheerful and friendly pub. Excellent prices (£3 for double brandy). Had a bit of fun at the Karaoke on Sunday night, and met some real characters. A great place to finish your evening off. Really enjoyed, and will definitely return xx

Lovely welcome, dance with dj music, dogs and children were allowed, plus not expensive.

Bar staff where quick at serving drinks. Saturday night disco was on so a busy crowd. Good time had.

Great Find! Stumbled on this little pub whilst exploring the town and were glad we popped in. Cosy, clean and the Landlord and his staff were absolutely fantastic. The music was spot-on, beer well priced and to top it off, met some friendly Cofis with the greatest sense of humour. Would visit again.

Popped in here to watch the Rugby at the weekend with my 3 JRTs and was given a very warm welcome by the staff and regulars alike. Very cheap beer and a warm atmosphere. No food menu but sandwiches provided at half time which were excellent. Very well run local pub.

This is a small pub, friendly staff and a great atmosphere, does not serve food but the beer is cheap and a decent pint, karaoke 4 till 8 on Mondays is great fun

I was told this was a place for Crossdresers to meet,so I went along,dressed,and I was not disappointed,had a wonderfull evening,met some lovely friends,and we have all kept in touch,and it has become a regular meeting place for trans people in north wales

Absolutely awful! On a Saturday afternoon, we were completely ignored by the bar staff, not even a simple acknowledgement. After waiting for over 5 minutes we left.

We have Holiday Home in Caernarfon coming here for last 14 years this pub has been on our must visit list most of time for excellent night time DJ music and Karaoke more importantly can get Football Matches of weekend is really atmospheric well visted by local Welsh speaking community who will welcome you with open arms and hearts!!! Honest people. My husband lost his wallet and he revisited the pubs the next day - some kind person had handed it in to the landlord of the Hole In The Wall whom then went to the trouble of posting on the pubs website of which we found thus my husband got his wallet back in tact. Many. Thanks

Stumbled across this pub by accident, and very happy I did. Good friendly atmosphere and some good offers on drinks. Having read previous comments, I can only assume it has been taken over recently.

Great little pub with fantastic offers on beer. We Were there in the afternoon and it had a really good atmosphere, if i camee back to the area i would definitely call back.

This must be one of the unluckiest 'Pubs' in Caernarfon. It has got through more Landlords/Managers than any other one in Town. When open it is O.K. for a 'couple', no Food served and it is small but friendly.

My partner and I with a couple of friends visited this pub on Saturday night. All of us where so shocked to see the customers where blatantly passing over drugs on the tables in full view we didn't even finish our drinks all of us upped and left! We where recommend this place by the landlord of The Angelsey avoid this place at all costs!

Carl, thank you for the great couple of night's that we came in, you have done great things with this place and it is only going to get better. The cocktails are superb and even better on Thursdays! Great Jukebox and great surroundings, thoroughly enjoyed your company and are planning on coming back.

Past this pub and a seen how all-right it was start talking to Carl and Oshan any we I was there for up to 30 mints had up to 4 cocktails omg I fell in love with this place had 4 sex on the beach best I ever had and when back at night music was ok but got better as it went but a bit expensive there I would go back there definitely if it was a little but cheaper loved the place though

Found this one by accident. Had a pint then left. Nice crowd the beer was good and so were the people.

Excellent friendly service,very clean, lovely cocktails well worth a visit, barman very friendly and knows his cocktails.

Lovely place not dirty at all as previous reviewer suggests!. Cocktails are very well made, staff very friendly and this is definitely and up and coming place which will no doubt improve further as time goes on. Good luck to the new owners and staff they deserve a chance

This place needs a good clean. The locals were 'different' and the beer was ok. Good location though.
