The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Conwy North Wales

Good fish and chips, the cheese and onion pie was one of the best I've had. Had my food to take away and ate it across the river on a picnic bench. Reasonably priced, served quickly, and the food was served in a recyclable cardboard container.

I would seriously choose somewhere else to eat like the local tip

Portion sizes seemed smaller than the last time I visited (Oct. 2024), especially the sauté potatoes. I had selected the brunch breakfast which came with a single rasher of fatty bacon and a half a small container of baked beans which was mainly sauce. The sausages were most definitely ‘catering’ ones rather than butcher quality. The mushrooms were the outstanding stand out item with a generous tasty portion provided. The brunch also consisted of a piece of black pudding, fresh but cold tomato and a single fried egg. Tea and toast was extra. Maybe it was an ‘off’ day for the kitchen but it wasn’t an enjoyable experience this time.

Ordered Welsh rarebit it wasn’t very nice the bread wasn’t cooked properly and it looked like the cheese had been poured over it wasn’t worth over £7 they need to sort it out sandwich and tea was ok .staff were okay.chef needs to taste his food !

Came here today Iced Cherry latte was spot on and great. But I think their needs to be a few things that need to rectified 1 . the place needs increased hygiene cleaning for example the toilets they were absolutely horrendous today with someone’s skid marks on them appalling!! 2. The staff members need to stop nagging people to come out of the toilets and not speak to them in a rude manner. If this continues to happen then things are going to kick off and escalate. A change is urgently needed!!! Caffè Nero investigate this and get these problems resolved.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! As a family of 11 coming in today I’m absolutely appalled at the food that was served!! The food stank!!! It smelt of sweaty feet, the gammon was stone cold, the roasties were the only nice thing on the plate! What a waste of £14!!!! I swear they got the gravy out the toilet. When the girl asked was everything ok I said no she said ok and walked off!!!

You must go here as it is a little out of the way, yet really nice food with nice attentive, helpful staff. Go along Station Road to get to it, or cross the bridge from the railway station.

Entramos el domingo por la noche alrededor de las 6 pm y notamos que no había nadie en el bar, en absoluto. Había alrededor de 7 personas allí bebiendo, un lugar agradable y relajado y muy tranquilo, así que pensamos que esto es genial después de viajar todo el día, una buena bebida tranquila era justo lo que queríamos. Esto hubiera sido genial si nos hubieran servido. Estuvimos en el bar durante 20 minutos esperando que alguien sirviera, pero no había nadie, y me refiero a nadie. No llegó ni un solo servidor al bar, así que al final le dije a mi compañero que es una pérdida de tiempo y los dos nos fuimos y fuimos a The Carlton, donde diré, 100% mejor. Gran servicio, personal amable y en realidad tenemos una bebida! Han perdido un cliente aquí donde habríamos gastado una buena cantidad de dinero, en cambio, fuimos al Carlton y les dimos el dinero, claramente lo merecían más que este lugar.

The food was delicious and portion size huge! The people were lovely, nothing top much trouble and atmosphere quiet and cozy. Well worth a visit!

waitresses were useless busybodies plenty of tables free, noone there to seat you so after we settled in on our own one of them got all uppity about it - if they were there in the 1st place doing her job that hassle would not have happened - we just left and will not return - same happened to friends of ours too

Dined at the Hayloft 13/3 2024 with my husband and we were not impressed with the set meal .Starters were ok but the maincourse of steak pie for me was dissapointing with very hard pastry and my husbands meal of curry was poor. The puddings were a bit strange as my husband had a fruit tart with an odd mix of fruit which included a large piece of pomegranite !

We ate here one evening as a group. We knew it was simply pizza and after Paddleboarding thought it would be the best option. The tables needed to be cleaned thoroughly as they were sticky and grimey but we made do with the spills being wiped up and the fabric chairs were disgusting with food/dirt ground into the chair arms, back and seat. We weren’t off to a good start but it was soon to get worst. The pizzas were either undercooked and cold in the middle or burnt black. Really disappointing. We had to send multiple back to be replaced or cooked for longer. The server was apologetic but offered no compensation. The price of the pizza was £11.95 and way overpriced priced. I’d have been disappointed for the quality at £5 per pizza so we felt well and truly ripped off. We had a great day at Adventure Snowdonia so it was no reflection on the place but it was a very disappointing end to our day.

Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was left wondering if there were some other Bryn Glo Tearooms in the area that we didnt know about? Been here loads of times over the years the family have been operating - often with my brood of feral kids (and later, feral grandkids), and the family who run this business have always made us very welcome; we visit Snowdonia a lot, as we live on the Wirral, and we always get a great feed and great service here, at reasonable prices for this area.The woman who appears to run the place only seems to be terse to those born with no sense of humour. I couldnt visit any part of North Wales without making an excuse to call here, and the pizzas, cooked outside in a wood fired oven, are absolutely fantastic. A great place to sit, relax, and eat some good food, and the proprietor's family are refreshingly down to earth and remember you when you revisit. My go-to cafe when camping at Dolgam (which we do often), everyone should visit them and decide for yourself. You wont be disappointed, five stars all day long xx

Living locally we have visited often but food quality is now very poor. On the last three visits we have ordered bacon baps, on the first food was good three rashers of bacon on a fresh buttered bread roll, second visit still three rashers of bacon but on unbuttered toasted brioche bun which was awful, very sweet, third visit still the disgusting toasted unbuttered sweet brioche bun and now only two rashers of bacon. If you now only offer a toasted sweet brioche bun with bacon please detail this on the menu as this is not what is expected when ordering a bacon bap as detailed. Cake is hit and miss, good, not available or stale. Poor selection of cold drinks available. Hot drinks okay. Service is always very slow but not due to lack of staff or queues but due to the strange set up at the counter and lots of talking. Shame about the decline as this used to be very good busy local cafe and we prefer to support local but unless things improve we are unlikely to continue to visit this cafe.
