Visited this Bar while being away in Llandudno for few days really impressed excellent customer service from Becky really made me feel very welcomed as soon as I walked in. brilliant prices I would recommend you visit this bar you will really enjoy it. I will definitely be returning here when I am back in Llandudno towards the end of the year.

Not sure where these 5 star reviews come from? Cross between a greasy spoon and a back street pub. Undercooked egg whites were still clear in part. Grubby feel and understaffed, asked where our 3 teas were after finishing the meal and received 2 at which point we just gave up. Possibly first time in my life I've left half a cup too, as it had an odd taste. Shame used to be an ok place by all accounts.

Went here for lunch, had a fghlemy egg, frozen chips and a long piece of hair in the food to go with it! We complained about the hair and said we didn’t want another meal. The worker left with the plate with no apologies and we didn’t see him again. We waited to see what they would offer ( drink or refund) but nothing! We left and the waiter just stood at the bar and watched us leave!! 😡 such a shame as it used to be a lovely place and we’d visit often

Went with my wife for lunch,bar person was friendly,pub is in a poor state. I had what was possibly the worst meal in my life,medium rare steak was overcooked at one end and raw on the other,peas were cold,there was a greasy onion ring . I should have complained but as it was such a rough pub ,I didn't bother. Avoid!!

I gave an original review of 2stars,and said about the light fittings blocking the TV,I wasn't going to say more but I'm going to now walked in and didn't even get any acknowledgement from yourself its a very grubby place sticky table dirty blinds furniture needs updating/refurbing etc etc ,now you can moan at me again now lol, but a few people have said the same thing also

Always nip in here for something to eat when in Llandudno, the food is excellent and good value for money. Drinks are Averagely priced. Its always clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful Dog friendly too...

Awful pub. Avoid like the plague. With so many great pubs in Llandudno, you have a choice. Went on for a pint, paid with card took a sip, beer was off (Brains SA) asked for a refund but barman replied it would take at least 20 minutes as the boss was busy! Truly awful customer service and it's a grubby little hole too!

Lovely local pub, friendliest barstaff in town! Entertainment every weekend with karaoke and band nights. I've not eaten here but the food I've seen always looks and smells delicious!

The woman behind the bar was really friendly and service was excellent. I had a pint of Madri which I really enjoyed. The pub itself seemed dated and lacking in any character. There were a few customers in and the atmosphere was fine, if a little subdued. It was ok, but there is a lot of competition in Llandudno and there was nothing to get us to return

Just stopped for drinks on way to a meal and found everything to be really good. Friendly staff, clean tables, and toilets and the coffee/Guinness very tasty!!!

Called in to this pub for a quick pint, no music, covid news on the TV and completely empty our lager tasted of soap so we left half of our drinks and left, not a very good impression for a tourist visiting Llandudno

Had a fab Friday night singing the night away. Perhaps introduce a few cask ales for variety but I guss in off season this is a locals bars. However, had a great time with the locals and would return.

Great friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Reason for visiting was for the live music which was on every Saturday night. Both of us really enjoyed the night which had a great band playing and plan on going there again in September. Highly recommended.

Saturday night's bands provide the best live music in town- no backing tapes, crooners or Ed Sheeran impersonators here. Great location and reasonably priced drinks too.

Right on the main shopping drag, very dated could do with some money spent on it. Drinks were cheap but were flat! Wouldn’t come back when there are better choices around in the vicinity

Found this pub to be very welcoming and also dog friendly which was a bonus as it had started to cool down after an excellent day. Thank you to the licencee for the refreshing drinks and letting our little dog take a well earned rest.

Great old victorian pub, good range of food. Though freezing sat near windows! Good atmosphere, reasonable prices for food and drinks

My husband and I enjoyed our night here. Decent priced drinks and a nice pub. Saturday night had live band who were great. Worth a visit.

Called in to this ‘cafe pub’ for a late-ish lunch of a simple sandwich and a drink. Ordered at the bar and got drinks, but our simple order of two cheese sandwiches took three quarters o an hour to arrive and even then only after requesting cancelling and having a refund. When the order arrived they were indeed cheese sandwiches, but presentation was sadly lacking. They were ‘plonked on a plate’, cut only once into two large sandwiches, with a little tired-looking salad at the side. The bread was fresh though. Also the ladies loos needed attention: one of the two was completely blocked and the other had a leaking toilet bowl so there was a pool of water on the floor. The staff apparently hadn’t been told about it and were grateful for the information.

We had the dog with us & were desperate for food so visited here. The all day breakfast took 40 minutes to come & was cold but was good. My husband also had to have his pint of beer changed. Dark interior which I think could do with a refurb.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. Every week i'd go there with my dad and I'd have a pizza meal. These days, I visit with friends and the meal's are still as delicious. Wonderful staff and excellent atmosphere and always with a hint of nostalgia. My favourite pub in llandudno :)

Stopped here to watch the football as the pub has BT sports. What a let down.. smallest TVs with poor quality, poorly located TVs, sticky tables, uncomfortable experience. After looking forward to watching the football I found that I couldn't stay in the pub for the whole game and I lost interest in the game as I kept peeling my arms off the tables.

Tenía un viaje de un día en autobús a llandudno. . Ha sido muchas veces antes. y siempre comíamos en whetherspoons el Palladium. . . Hoy no estaban sirviendo comida y los aseos estaban fuera debido a que no hay agua. . . Así la izquierda de la parte trasera, y tenía un paseo hasta el rd 25 yardas y encontramos este pequeño tesoro. no hay mucho que ver y más de un café bar, pero el personal era muy amable y servicial y se sirve buena comida caliente de calidad. . El único inconveniente fue el corto 3 abajo tiolets vuelos de escaleras, por lo que no es bueno para aquellos que tienen problemas de movilidad. Sin embargo no se pregunte si tenían alguna aseos minusválidos así que si vas podría valer la pena preguntar primero. Cuando hemos bajado a los aseos puedes estar allí por un tiempo admirando el graffiti en la parte trasera de las puertas. Como he dicho no tiene mucho que ver, pero recomendaría así que gracias a la casa de la ciudad para salvar el día

Hace muchos años, cuando era más joven me pasé la mayoría de mis noches del viernes y el sábado los pubs de búsqueda. Entonces lo que ahora es la casa de la ciudad se llamaba erupciones y fue parte de la escena pub, aunque siempre fue uno de los medio de lugares "Noche que visitar en el camino a algún otro lugar, que en aquellos días era más probable que era bartons muy poca distancia (n.. Bartons dejó de existir hace mucho tiempo). Recientemente me dieron para visitar la Casa de la ciudad por primera vez en mucho tiempo y parecía que había sufrido un "makeunder", en otras palabras, parece la decoración habían ido hacia atrás y todo parece muy básico y no emociones. Había carteles de publicidad de la apariencia de una banda en vivo más tarde en la noche, aunque no estuvimos tan tarde y pasaron a otro sitio. De manera que tengo que felicitarles como varios sitios de la escena entonces, la casa de pan y Albert, por ejemplo, prácticamente han dejado de ser pubs y restaurantes en sí convertida en. Por lo tanto, es agradable ver a alguien buck la tendencia y como correcto, en vez de seguir pub tradicional al rebaño por la ruta Carvery Roast". Junto con los gustos de los brazos de la Cruz Reyes, llaves y los Snowdon esta disminución en el número de pubs en el centro de Llandudno y espero que permanecerá como es.

Great night at the town house Saturday night Brilliant entertainment, fast & efficient service at the bar.The bar staff are so friendly, helpful & accommodating; nothing's too much trouble. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere in the pub was amazing everybody having a good time, enjoying themselves & especially enjoying the live band.

and locals alike---friendly bar with some decent real ale--a bit dear for me at £3.70 a pint but the Brains dark smooth was spot on.

Set near the centre of Llandudno, it was a bright sunny and we all enjoyed the atmosphere - we sat near the front window and watched the world go by, as we had a leisurely drink and relaxed and took everything in.

So good we went on the first night after visiting a few more pubs but the second night we went straight there. Whether it's karaoke or live bands it's a fantastic night out

Ok pub, wasn't very busy, barmaid wasn't very friendly, prices are so so for Llandudno which is quite expensive anyway I think , toilets downstairs a pain, however nice people to talk to in there and that has earned this place another star certainly not the best pub in Llandudno but not the worst

We came in out of the cold in the afternoon and got ourselves a nice beer. Staff are friendly and polite , and the beers are good. We left for our hotel meal , but came back in the evening to find it with a live band , great crowd of people all drinking , singing and dancing the night away , and made some new friends. It does need some attention to areas especially the loo's , but the foods good too ,so recommend a visit.

Had a good drink in this pub friendly and entertainment on was good love old buildings went to the toilet which is down some stairs a I opened the door to the toilets a shadow went past as if someone had just gone into the cubicle as I got in expecting someone else to be in there but no one was there I even checked on my way out to see if there was any way someone could of gone but nothing. Would love to find out more about this pub history behind it any way just thought I'd share my experience

Live music karaoke Friday band on Saturday, not best setting adjust prices at twelve o clock bar staff friendly and fairly efficient.

Went in here for a drink, but found they had Karaoke on so only had the one drink and left. I much prefer music in the background and we are not fans of Karaoke.Don't know if this is on every night.

Good food priced well, burgers amazing and the sandwiches - simple selection nothing fancy but tasty, always with fresh bread. Staff were friendly and the tables always wiped clean after customers had left. We noticed other people's breakfast (all day) and they were huge portions and looked good. You could always pop in for a drink as well if you didn't want food.Will be back

Popped in at lunch time as was attracted to the liver & onions shown on the outside chalk board, a great platefull, well worth the visit, it was so good we went back the next day for the mixed grill, what can I say, superb & the prices are very good too, would recommend to anybody who is looking for quality pub grub along with a major selection of local ales, keep it up !

Enjoyed a good band that were playing on a Saturday night and a karaoke night while staying in Llandudno. Staff very friendlly and helpful when asking for advise on the area.

My wife and I were looking for a pub in Llandudno on a Sunday night. We saw the Town House and called in to find a lively atmosphere, with karaoke the evening's attraction. The general standard of the singers was much better than your average and we really enjoyed the evening. Bar service was very efficient and the staff were all pleasant.

Arriving cold after a chilly evening walk we were quickly warmed by the atmosphere, the room temperature and the welcome from the staff.Whilst it is a sports pub, so the TVs are on , their volume is thoughtfully set so as not to prevent customers from talking to each other.There are two beers on hand pump, and a rarity these days being unfamiliar with either I was offered a small taster of each-- they were both in excellent condition -- I went with the Brains and it was superb -- a perfect pint.In addition, my partner was offered a decent cup of cafe.

Popped in to get warm stayed for lunch. Served by very pleasant young lady. We didn't have to wait long, food average pub fare.

We called in to see if we could take our dog in and we could. We ordered food and it was cooked to ordered it was lovely. The staff was friendly. We called another night to ask what time meals were served til on an evening but they stop serving at 3, so we had to find somewhere else for tea.

Went to Llandudno Shopping, and Dropped into this pub for lunch with my wife and kids. The food was excellent and great value for money.I read the reviews on this place after eating her and I must say I found them all to be untrue. Staff where really friendly and helpfulBeer was spot onFood brilliant, Good sized portions, tasty and kids ate it all and that is unusualYes the Décor needs some attention I have to agree, but it is clean and the Food Hygiene level displayed is 5 Star so has to be good.Well Done Guys, Guess you will always get moaners but we will definitely be back soon

We went here during the Llandudno Xmas Fayre weekend as it was the only place with a free table. Massive all-day breakfast with tea and toast £5.95. Burger chips and beans £2.50 and a steak pie veg and chips for a fiver. (The tea was weird - a cup of hot water a teabag and some UHT milk). The coffee was nice and the food was all lovely. The people were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy.No accesible toilets, or toilets on the ground floor. Toilets in basement - not very nice.But on the whole very good.

We usually visited this establishment every Wednesday at lunch time mainly because during the holiday period it was the only quiet pub with reasonable prices. We wondered why it was always quiet. Yesterday we found out. We arrived and ordered food for three at 13.16 There were three other parties eating. A couple, a family and two women with children who were allowed to run around unabated. Luckily this party left shortly after we arrived. When we ordered the other two parties were awaiting their food which eventually arrived, they ate it and left. About 30 mins after we arrived another family arrived and some of them ordered food hardly busy. We were waiting that long we ordered second drinks and chased up the food to be told it was on its way. At 14.38 she arrived with food. She tried to give me a jacket with cheese when I ordered tuna and tried to insist it was what I ordered. I looked at the other meals and knew it was not our order, when I pointed it out she stropply said well it must be for the other table. Which it was. She left and did not return even though she reluctantly said she would at last check were our food was. 10 minutes later my partner went to the bar to check what was happening. He came back annoyed because the girl just said we lost your order and are doing it now. How she could do a lost order without checking with us exactly what it was, she did not explain. She did offer another drink which we didn't want as we had already finished two. She did not try to explain why she hadn't bothered checking at any time what the delay was. Her excuse was it was busy. It was far from busy as for over half of the time there was only two parties in the eating area and a few guys at the bar. I went to the bar the and said it was unacceptable and demanded our money returned. She got defensive and stroppy and we had an argument. As previous reviews regarding rudeness by staff and managers have said this is a family run establishment and consequently when things go wrong they don't have a manager ensuring a decent level of customer service is maintained. I asked to speak to the Manager and she directed me to a very old lady who was obviously not running the pub and totally confused about everything.About five minutes later she came back to the table and virtually threw just over ten pounds down. when we took out the value of drinks out it was still approximately £2 less than we paid for our meals. Adding the three meals and side order of chips it came to approximately £12 to £12.50. Unfortunately you do not get an itemised receipt at this establishment. Luckily we paid by card so had the time of the transaction. The card bill showed was for over 15 pounds and one glass of wine £2.35. Maths don't add up. She continued arguing and again we demanded to see the proper manager. Ten minutes later he arrived made excuses of the place being busy etc and would not explain what had happened to our order. He was very rude andrefused to give us the proper refund and walked off. Other posts have pointed out his attitude before. This pub is on the Main Street of Llandudno and conequently makes it money from one off visitors so doesn't have to use good customer care to retain business. Despite having gone many times previously we still got the bad service usually suffered by tourists. The attitude of the manager is apparent from this site with his defensive responses to poor reviews. Maybe he would get more clients if he and his staff looked up the meaning of customer service.

Only placed open locally as far as we could see so gave it a try. Karaoke was on and wasn't very busy but friendly enough place where we could dance and sing to our hearts content. Beer was nice and had a laugh so would go again.

I went to Llandudno on a short stay, 3 days and popped in now and then for a quiet few, was a friendly little place. With me enjoying quiet places I enjoyed my drinks! Didn't try any of the food though.Only downside I would say would be the toilets, they are not horrendous, but some improvements I say are needed.4/5 for me.

Do not recommend the cocktails from here, couldn't drink it was the worst cocktail ever. However, they may improve in a few weeks as the girl behind the bar did say it was a new menu. Glass looked unwashed, still had lipstick round the glass. The toilets were horrible too. Won't visit again anytime soon.

went into Town house on Good Friday evening , karoake on appeared to be ok at first but as the alcohol took affect the squalling was getting worse , 2 pints carlong £6.80p was ok went to bar later and was charged £7.20 staff informed me that it went up 20p after 10pm dont know why as there wasnt many in , left after another drink , never went back.

Worst place in town, be warned stay away!!Me and my partner were in town for the weekend and we had just been for lunch somewhere else. We then came here for a drink which we were also meeting a few other couples that we had met that weekend. We got here first and asked for a premium lager (not really a good range of premium beers here). The girl behind the bar recommended Tiger, to be fair i have never seen this on draught before. After walking away from the bar, we both took a sip and it tasted like the lines were dirty, the beer had been in the line to long or even the glass was dirty - which does happen.After going back to the bar and complaining the bar person said that they have been serving it all day and there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with it. She then said all i can do is get my manager which i thought was fair.The manager comes over a while later with his kids running around him, running behind the bar helping themselves to drinks and snacks most likely alcohol but who knows as they were running riot. After getting the managers attention he told me i didn't know what i was talking about and that i was wrong. I then asked him to smell it and he said i don't drink . Not sure what part of that is drinking. But if you smell it you will see. The manager then walked behind the bar and whispered something to his staff. Thought he was just going to sort it out and give us another or replace it for something else. After about 2 mins i said 'so whats happening?' He then said that i have insulted him and said no I'm not replacing anything and walked off. We really were just shocked of how childish he became and un-willing to do anything. We didn't want our money back we just wanted a pint we could drink.So we just left the pub as he then walked through a private door.We were just so shocked at the level of service and the unnecessary rudeness of the manager. So if you want to have a drink do not go anywhere near this place or if you do go their once this manager has left.

Me and my wife visit Llandudno on a regular basis and always nip in the Town House for a few hours. Col & Gaz the landlords are great hosts and the entertainment in the evening differs every time we go in. Not the same old stuff every night like some of the other pubs and clubs in the area.
