Visited Friday 27 Sept 24 - sunny lovely day up at the Great Orme. Cafe was packed with school kids & others. Had the hot choc with whipped cream, chicken nuggets & a sausage - very good. Conga line - pick your choices & pay at counter. Short wait for drinks. Warm inside & tables clean. Customer service good. A welcome break 👍🏼👍🏼

We went up the great orme to have breakfast on our visit to Llandudno. They didn’t start serving food till 12 however we had absolutely massive scones which were delicious! Full to the brim with amazing cream! We had some tea too which was served in to go cups, would’ve been nice to have some mugs though, my partner had a sausage roll which was very tasty. The atmosphere through in the bar area was great, lovely and quite and had a fab retro vintage vibe.

We only popped in for a snack - I had a chocolate milkshake and chocolate flapjack and my partner had a cappuchino and pack of ginger biscuits. The food and drink were very nice, not extraordinary but we sat out and the view was gorgeous! Only problem with this place was the queuing area as it was weirdly set out and you could end up waiting in a queue of people waiting for food if you just want a drink and vice versa.

Decent food except fish was underwhelming and not the best batter I've ever had. Shocking experience at the queue, a lady asked for tap water to take tablets and the lads working there refused, because its not a 'licensed' venue so they 'legally dont need to give away tap water for free' ... what?! So?! It's good customer service and also just the decent thing to do... it's tap water and it was nearly 30 degrees outside. The lads there also ganged up on her a bit which was not pleasant to watch, its just poor customer service. I understand that customers can be a right pain in the backside but her requests were so reasonable. And £1.45 for a 500ml bottle of water. Not on at all. The lady who served me was lovely though and the food other than the fish was okay. No vegan options or anything remotely healthy

Food was great, most of workers very helpful apart from one male in his 50s. First he made comment and said “ cafe should start providing curry, because a lot of you indian here”. and then ask what we doing here, are we working in hospital here. And when we replied him, no we came from london and just visited this place for short weekend trip. He said no, you are better off in Nepal. I found this conversation rude and inappropriate. I strongly think this cafe should provide retraining for this staff.

Well what an awful place, every bit of food was beige, chips, pies, nuggets sandwiches, not a salad or bit of fruit in sight, being diabetic and lactose intolerant meant eating here was really hard. don’t expect to have a good response off staff as the one lad was so miserable you almost felt sorry for disturbing his moment of misery to order a coffee. We actually mentioned it to the lad who was on the till, who did go and speak to him, but that led to three of the lads grouping around to have a look and a moan about who complained, not very nice at all to experience, maybe it’s not the job for him. The place is quite dated but is very busy, and dogs are made welcome which is good as many places don’t allow dogs. It definitely didn’t have the wow factor that the tram way staff gave or the gift shop at the station. It’s disappointing as it has such potential

We visited on a very wet and cold October day. Went inside to grab a table for our party of 7, some of us stayed on the table while the rest went to get food and drinks. While we were unpacking a bag looking for stuff to entertain the children a miserable, grumpy man (who we later found out to be the owner) walked past and spotted a couple of bottles of drinks we had placed on the table during our unpacking. He barked at us that we could only sit inside if we were purchasing food and drink and couldn't drink our own drinks. We explained to him that some of our party were already in the queue paying for food and drinks - he shuffled off muttering something under his breathe with no apology. The rest of the visit followed the same tone, unhelpful staff, dirty facilities and the most abstract and odd theming and layout I have ever seen. It's such a shame as this place could be incredible with some investment and the right management. They have a captive audience though I'm afraid so will probably continue putting this beautiful old building into disrepair and giving shocking customer service until they have some strong competition.

Only wanted a snack so myself and another lady had a scone, jam and butter. The scone was so dry we both only managed to eat half of it and that was because we needed something and cup of tea helped make it a bit edible. Mentioned to a friend who lived locally we ate there and she shook her head. Obviously she knows what it is like. Another in group was gluten free and all they could give her was chips or a jacket spud which she didn't want. In end went in bar area and got a bag of crisps. Not very clean either

After a chilling ride on the tram through blustery conditions and a walk through heavy rain, my Mother thought it'd be a good idea to get a nice hot drink at the summit complex. After ordering three hot chocolates and bringing them to the table, we noticed the presentation wasn't up to scratch. There were all different amounts of liquid in each cup. My mother went to take a sip from the fullest cup and in the first gulp, she found something hard, initially thinking it was a bit of undissolved hot chocolate powder. No. On further inspection, it was actually a fingernail. A thick fingernail. We won't be going back. Regarding the décor; it is quite dated.

This is a self service cafe, where you queue up, choose your food, pay for it and take it to the table, picking up condiments and cutlery on the way.We arrived at peak time, and the was quite a queue. In normal circumstances, we would have found somewhere else, but we were both hungry, and Llandudno itself was so busy, we couldn't find parking. The layout is cold drinks, cream cakes, hot food area, hot drinks, more cakes and the till. The menu is a good basic menu, with things such as three sausages, with chips, or mash, and peas and gravy, cottage pie and chips and fish and chips. We chose sausage, chips and gravy, and I asked if I could a sausage roll and chips, which wasn't shown on the menu, but was immediately put together for me. We also had a coffee and a bottle of water, and the total bill came to roughly £16.00. The portions were pretty generous for both of us, the food was lovely and hot and very tasty - the sausage roll was the best I'd ever had, with no fatty bits or gristle in, and my partner pushed me to try the gravy - a thing he only does if something is really good! The cakes were huge, and I know from a previous visit here, they are very good indeed. There were plenty of staff on, we were served quickly despite the queue, and managed to find a table with ease. There were smiles from the man who was serving the hot food and from the girl on the till. This is a cafe, so the surroundings are pretty basic. The table we were on was very clean, but there were some that looked a bit grubby, not down to the cafe, but down to the people who had been using them previously. The staff were doing a great job of trying to keep everywhere clean and tidy, at a very busy time of day.Looking forward to a return visit.

not been in here for a very long time and although it looks ok on the surface its ready for a new everything...The beer was good but like everywhere overpriced but we do live in a holiday resort and the locals are expected to pay holiday prices too.(no wonder the pubs trade is dying)Toilets are in need of a full refurb and look as if someone is in the process of attempting to start the process 🤔 Pleasant enough place to enjoy a few beers but feel it could do with an update.

We went for tea and cake during an afternoon visit. Red flag alert as soon as we arrived as the waitress started to explain to us how busy they had been and that there was only 2 of them in so they were closing the kitchen and they were only light bites available. We ordered 2 pieces of cake and 2 teas. We waited patiently as eventually she brought 2 cups with 2 different saucers plus a stainless steel filthy teapot which had seen better days. The cake arrived and it was really dry to the point of asking the waitress, ‘have you any pouring cream?’ just so we could get it down the red lane! The answer would you believe was “no”. I poured the tea from the teapot and more of it went on the table then in the cup. Finally the bill was an extortionate £14 pounds and 40pence I kid you not. Asked if everything was okay I said “The cake was very dry” she replied, “It’s been in the sun!” Anyway that was our experience and looking at reviews it seems it’s normal .

4 out of 6 self serve machines broken. Terrible queue! Not up to standard. Someone should take orders manually. Expect better.

You must go here as it is a little out of the way, yet really nice food with nice attentive, helpful staff. Go along Station Road to get to it, or cross the bridge from the railway station.
