Layout again was a problem just like the zoo itself for people in wheelchairs due to Buggies and layout of tables etc. Hot food was limited menu a little pricey. My personal opinion maybe have somewhere for buggy's to go outside . And re think inside furniture layout

We were the only ones in so we had the delight of having the awesome views all to ourselves and we watched the monkeys right outside the window having a domestic but it was all sorted within a couple of minutes. The views are awesome you can see miles around and having a cuppa and a cake in hand makes it even more perfect.

Went this month, not open! Weather awful wet & windy and yet shut to the public. Good catering would raise loads of money for the zoo.

Beautiful panoramic views from the cafe. Can't rate the food and drink as it was closed at 3.30 when we went

First of all we ordered food, soup of the day, chicken nuggets and chips (kids) 3 lattes, came up to £22 so I think it’s a bit expensive.. soup arrived and had a hair inside it which was very putting off. Staff was fine about it and gave us a new one, but then mentioned that the soup had been done in another building then brought there, which that is not allowed. Myself has dietary needs and couldn’t eat anything from there so brought my own food, as I was about to eat it a staff member came over to me and told me I couldn’t eat my own food in here. I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t purchase anything from the cafe but we did cost us £22. Then the same staff member came over to us and asked us to move the pushchairs as the cafe was getting busy, yeah fair enough but the way she spoke to us was disgusting baring in mind the children was in there pushchairs. Overall I think it’s expensive and the staff are rude! After the situation about the pushchairs we just left our food and went. We didn’t feel welcome and certainly wasn’t being spoken to like that!

Had a jacket potato and partner had a sandwich. Both were nice but a bit dear for what it is. View was lovely while eating and got in before too busy.

Can't really say any thing other than perhaps this only opens at weekends or in high season? There is an alternative Restaurant to get food & drink from as well as another Ice cream kiosk by the gift shop/toilets

Visiting Brown's bar and grill every weekend is the highlight of our week. My husband and I always have food here. The freshly battered fish, chips and mushy peas are great. The carvery on Sunday is the best I've ever had. I really just wished there were more choice for desserts. The management and their staff are so friendly and welcoming. Keep up the great work you do as we do appreciate it.

waitresses were useless busybodies plenty of tables free, noone there to seat you so after we settled in on our own one of them got all uppity about it - if they were there in the 1st place doing her job that hassle would not have happened - we just left and will not return - same happened to friends of ours too

4 out of 6 self serve machines broken. Terrible queue! Not up to standard. Someone should take orders manually. Expect better.

You must go here as it is a little out of the way, yet really nice food with nice attentive, helpful staff. Go along Station Road to get to it, or cross the bridge from the railway station.

Came here today Iced Cherry latte was spot on and great. But I think their needs to be a few things that need to rectified 1 . the place needs increased hygiene cleaning for example the toilets they were absolutely horrendous today with someone’s skid marks on them appalling!! 2. The staff members need to stop nagging people to come out of the toilets and not speak to them in a rude manner. If this continues to happen then things are going to kick off and escalate. A change is urgently needed!!! Caffè Nero investigate this and get these problems resolved.
