Possibly the best Mocha in the known Universe. Go there immediately, you will not be disappointed.

Reading previous reviews it's obvious that Welsh Rarebit is either love it or hate it , I have to say I've never been served Welsh Rarebit like this, far too liquid on a slice of tough bread (couldn't tell if it was toasted at all). Taste wise it was fine but appearance wise it was awful. Good pot of tea though.

OMG!! Purchased THE most amazingly delicious flapjacks from this store today whilst visiting the village. I’ve actually just messaged them to ask whether they have stockists elsewhere (staying in Bangor on holiday and live in Manchester). If they don’t have stockists elsewhere I’m going back tomorrow for more! They’re Unreal! Plus the lovely friendly guy that served me was a Northerner (well EX Northerner, lived in wales 15 years now) and was super friendly and professional! This place really is heaven for anyone with a sweet tooth 😘

Lovely pub/restaurant. Very welcoming and friendly staff and patrons! Nice casual, cosy atmosphere & very dog friendly. It was our puppy's first holiday and he was made very welcome by the staff with treats and fuss. The food is typical pub grub. Steak was 5 star, as was the beef pie! Fantastic quality meat and cooking.

We have been visiting Betws Y Coed at least twice a year for several years, and in our opinion the Pont Y Pair Inn is the best Pub in Betws Y Coed! Firstly, the staff and owners are incredibly friendly and extremely welcoming, as well as being very professional and helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic...its a proper pub with loads of character and charm. The food is great, and is very reasonably priced with a good and varied menu. The Inn is VERY dog friendly, and the staff always make a fuss of our 2 spaniels, giving them treats and cwtches (cuddles)! Rooms are available, but as we have a motorhome we stay on the nearby campsite, so we cannot comment on the rooms. Overall, I can't recommend the Pont Y Pair enough, and I highly recommend a visit there. We would like to thank all the Staff for treating us both so well, (especially for what you did for my partner on Mother's Day!), and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again later this year.

We've always gone here after a walk in the beautiful country that is North Wales, never been dissatisfied, the curry sauce is phenomenal. The fish are large and they try their best at busy times...be prepared to wait a few minutes for your food, it's fresh and delicious!...I'm 48 and have eaten a quantity of fish and chips with curry sauce in my lifetime...these guys are top of my list, so wish they were open out of season but totally understand it's not financially viable, please go for a walk in beautiful North Wales and call in at Hen Siop Pont-Y-Pair, you won't be disappointed.

Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was left wondering if there were some other Bryn Glo Tearooms in the area that we didnt know about? Been here loads of times over the years the family have been operating - often with my brood of feral kids (and later, feral grandkids), and the family who run this business have always made us very welcome; we visit Snowdonia a lot, as we live on the Wirral, and we always get a great feed and great service here, at reasonable prices for this area. The woman who appears to run the place only seems to be terse to those born with no sense of humour. I couldnt visit any part of North Wales without making an excuse to call here, and the pizzas, cooked outside in a wood fired oven, are absolutely fantastic. A great place to sit, relax, and eat some good food, and the proprietor's family are refreshingly down to earth and remember you when you revisit. My go-to cafe when camping at Dolgam (which we do often), everyone should visit them and decide for yourself. You wont be disappointed, five stars all day long xx

A charming inn, newly refurbished after 3 years. We were literally the first customers across the threshold. Very charming bar staff; range of light bites and a good range of beers on offer. Paul, the general manager, took the time to chat to us about the Inn's renovation and what plans the owners have. It's all brilliantly put together and smart inside but not pretentious. We wish them every success.

£2.95 for the smallest scoop of ice cream you’ve ever seen. It actually didn’t even come out of the cone it was that small. I actually said to the young girl serving - is that it for £2.95 and she replied that she had been told to make the portions smaller! Needless to say I walked away without the ice cream and went up the road to Cadwalladers. By the sounds of the other reviews on here, small portions are a regular occurrence!
