Visited yesterday while on a lovely visit to Betws-y-coed. We ordered coffees and lunch. A club sandwich and Welsh rarebit. Great tasty food, portions sizes so good that we had to forego cake! Lovely staff, quick service, great comfy interior. Highly recommended ☺️

We had breakfast here back in August last year. We had normal and large full Welsh breakfasts and a poached egg on toast for our elder son. The large breakfast wasn't much bigger than the normal one with very thin black pudding. The sausage wasn't very meaty, but the bread was good. The hot drinks were a bit on the small side.

As the outside seating areas in the pubs were packed on the May Bank Holiday weekend, we ordered a couple takeaway pizzas and ate them outside our guesthouse. The bases were excellent, as were the flavour and quality of the toppings. It was almost like being in Italy again.

This is my favourite place for a coffee in Betws and the breakfasts are good. It is probbly the favourite of regular walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. It is at the Capel end of Betwys and thankfully rarely frequented by the content of tourist coaches. The staff are friendly and the quality of the food wholesome and tasty.

We visited here for brunch after spotting a couple of free tables outside. Dogs are not allowed inside and the outside tables are right next to the main road so take care if you do have dogs. The staff were nice and the food was good. I had the Welsh rarebit with mushrooms which was really nice and came with a little side salad. My partner had a cheese sandwich which wasn’t on the menu but they were happy to do for us. The prices were fairly reasonable and was just right for what we wanted.

Stopped here after parking up the top end of the village for a well earned coffee after a long journey. We sat outside as it was busy and the weather was gorgeous yesterday. We ordered a Latte and an Americano with cream. Thank you to the lovely young girl who was kind enough to go and find some cream (most cafes just say no!). Sat outside for around half an hour. We only had drinks but the food looked really good. We'll definitely be back.

We had two lots of takeaway pizza from this cafe, and both were excellent - I have got quite seriously into pizza making in recent months, and I really rated these. Although the pizzas from Hangin' Pizza were also good, these definitely had the edge. They were also excellent value, and pickup time was spot on.

We called here for lunch, there was a family of 4 waiting at the door for a table, we stood waiting behind them, they were seated, so we stepped in and waited. The waitress walked past us a few times not even looking at us, so on the next passing I asked if she has a table for 2 please, the response "I don't believe I do", and walked off. When she passed again I asked if I could wait for a table, to which she replied "well I don't know how long it will be" and walked off again! I repeated can we wait, she shrugged her shoulders and said that's up to us, but to just come back later and see if there's a table then. Wasn't worth the hassle nor did we want to spend money somewhere like that, she carried on walking brushing past us each time, like we was in the way. Not sure what cafe doesn't have a system in place for waiting on the next available table, but certainly no way to treat would be customers. Our money went elsewhere.

We recently visited Cavan-Y-Pair and disappointed with a number of things; I found a hair in my food and the presentation of the food was poor. A bit depressed when we arrived in Betwys Y Coed at lunch time - very hard to find a parking space and six to 10 people queuing down the roads at cafes and shops. This cafe is a bit further up the hill and was empty. We were obviously concerned as no one else was there!!Good varied snack/lunch menu. Currently served in takeaway boxes - although we sat on their tables outside. Spot on food with a healthy twist. All other later arrivals received their orders. We only got our drinks. Waited for a total of 47 minutes.!! Still NO food. Received apologies as Owner tried to find our order slip, under about 17 slips. Would have preferred our food than apologise,as diabetic. Given the effort that most other cafes and restaurants put into their offers these days i found this place a bit underwhelming. Sometimes you just want an average cafe and this would fit the bill except the prices are a bit too high. Nothing wrong with the food just expensive for what it was. The staff werent particularly good and seemed confused by their own till system. One girl made the other waitress take our order and then stood over her telling her what to do - do your staff training in your own time! they then forgot our drinks order. We thought this place looked cosy from the outside, having walked past it a few times during our holiday, so we went for breakfast. This included an adults breakfast with coffee, a child’s breakfast with juice and mushrooms on toast with a mug of tea. All of the drinks were fine, but there was a little wait for the food - the mushrooms on toast were gorgeous, and the kids breakfast fine, but they forgot to add the sausage to the adult breakfast, and whilst it was noticed and one cooked, it didn’t come out until after the rest of the breakfast had been eaten. We also used the toilet, which we wished we hadn’t. There is one toilet so I had gone in, and my son ended up waiting in a small dark corridor (there was no light). The toilet itself was quite smelly with the loo roll being stored on the floor - not great!

Young girl who served us did not speak at all. Very rude, no smile. Such a shame as food was amazing. Been visitors here for years, this has really put us off visiting again.

Perfect pot of tea with extra water to top up. Very nice. Ordered jacket potato & a panini. The food was both hot and tasty. Now the grumble the coffee was very weak, I would guess just one expresso in a large mug. When my wife expressed a concern the coffee was to weak. We were charged extra to correct it. Not good customer service on the coffee front.

We visited on a Sunday morning and had the place to ourselves. Very friendly staff and a good menu choice. Nice to see they do kids breakfast options too. Our 11-year-old happily tucked into a full Welsh which he announced was 'absolutely delicious' (see photo). Good coffee too which was sooooooo needed after the instant offerings in our hotel! Well priced too, breakfast for three plus extra rounds of toast, coffees and juice came to £20.Worth noting that they only accept cash, no cards.

Went as spur of the moment. Arrived early on a Saturday evening and managed to get a table. Bring your own meant we nipped for a bottle of wine before we sat down. Service charge of £1 each for bring your own. Great tasty pizzas. Relaxed atmosphere. Great place.

Nice home cooked food, friendly staff! Visited a few times now, a basis looking place but the quality and choice of good home cooked food with really friendly service keeps us coming back and recommending to family. Great value, easy access and free parking.

The ice cream was awesome and very tasty! 😊 The only let down was that the staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming (it's my first time visiting Llandudno!).

Tried to charge for a squeeze of Costco ketchup on my son’s chips after I spent £15 on drinks and chips. It’s easy to spend my hard earned money ANYWHERE else. Usually really like going out of my way to support local independent business that go the extra mile to attract more tourists to the area…. Won’t be coming back here unfortunately. Shame as the location is great. Perhaps this is a little petty, but I thought it just plain mean.
