Cantin in Conwy

What a find - an accidental find, though a friend had told me that the cafe by the library was good. We had a fabulous lunch here - goat's cheese, candied walnuts and beetroot salad for my husband and cauliflower cheese soup for me. I often make cauliflower cheese soup at home - mine is pretty good, but I'll grudgingly admit this was better. My husband's salad was a work of art and he loved it. We thought the staff were brilliant - very friendly - and we liked the place so much that we ended up coming back for tea and cakes on the same day! Next time we're in Conwy, we'll be coming here. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Been several times to this cafe in Conwy. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Excellent outside seating with overhead cover. Good menu. Having been many times this summer it’s a shame that they don’t yet have any loyalty scheme etc.. clean toilets which is always a good sign

We called in for lunch on Wednesday. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks to arrive. I had Welsh rarebit from the specials board and it was really enjoyable.

Outstanding food you won't be disappointed. Dog friendly and the service was great! Highly highly recommend this fab place

A beautiful environment with welcoming staff who could not be more helpful. Combine that with many Vegan options, meant all our party had choices from high quality food options.

Called in for breakfast on our walk in to Conwy. Great menu choice. We opted for a bacon bap, it was cooked to perfection! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! 😍

Called for tea and coffee, place was clean including the toilets, drinks were fine, not the cheapest, no atmosphere , staff polite not friendly.

Looking for a friendly local cafe for eats at a decent price so found this one.staff friendly especially young waitress girl other women in all blue more interested in her phone but all in all lovely food and drinks.blonde women at till good and pleasant.decent menu and prices,counter a bit cluttered but had displayed some tempting cakes,seating ok table sticky,inside and outdoor seating and toilets fine,food was delicious and hot and nothing left on plate.would recommend

Myself and my friend tend to visit regularly and we always receive incredible service. I could not fault it. I am not really one to write reviews but i thought i must say each time i visit a smile is immediately put on my face when i see the young waitress. I think her name may be liv(this could be completely wrong). No matter how busy the cafe is she always serves us with a smile and always has the time to have a conversation with us. She’s so well mannered for such a young age! Also the food here is always incredible, each time i visit i always tend to have a toastie of some sort and they are always a 10/10. This cafe is a real find, and i will continue to visit.

This Cafe was absolutely brilliant, A young blonde girl no older than 15 was a gem. She was so polite and helpful I had an issue with my food and she was straight on her way to help me, she insured that mine and friends food was top tier and i couldn’t recommend this cafe more (as long as you have that young girl). Will be returning asap ps. the cakes were lovely!!

Super cafe located on the outskirts on conwy Castle walls. Extremely tastey food and super dog friendly! After a mornings climb we were in need of some delicious food and a spot to rest and this ticked the boxes!

The food is OK and the staff are always pleasant. If you don't want to dine with dogs then don't go. Some days it is like Battersea Dogs Home there are so many dogs outside. It not pleasant when their owners let them bark and yap. There is some dog free seating inside but not that many tables.

40 minute wait for very basic food and no apology. Paid almost £8 for 2 small pancakes with a hot mess of banana (microwaved?) dowsed in a pool of maple syrup. Had we not been starrrrrving at this point, we wouldn’t have eaten it. Do not recommend.

When we had our gender reveal at Cantin, staff were so attentive and friendly, the food was lovely and the team was really accomodating with our requests. We couldn't have had it at a better place :)

This is a brilliant spot and brilliantly ran by Sally and her hardworking team. So good we went back again the next day. Lovely outdoor seating looking on to the walls. Dog friendly space outside. I had French toast first day- which was really tasty. Sausage sandwich the next day- really tasty and very reasonably priced. Delicious coffee. Sally couldn’t do more for you. Highly recommended- don’t waste your time going anywhere else for breakfast! We’ll be back and thank you ♥️

We visit every week after a toddler group in the room next door. The coffee and food are fantastic. The staff are so helpful, especially when I'm trying to carry a baby etc. Love eating here.
