The woman who wears a badge saying ‘supervisor’ with blonde hair (tied up) and black glasses is seriously lacking basic skills in customer service. She goes out of her way to be rude to the customers she simply doesn’t like the look of, to ensure said customers feel as unwelcome and uncomfortable as possible whilst they dine here. I am shocked that Alpine have chosen her to be a supervisor. Myself and my many professional, well-mannered and respectable friends visit often. We cannot believe her attitude. She’s loud and overly friendly with some customers, but shockingly rude to the attractive females. It’s not just her jealous facial expressions (she looks at attractive females with disgust), but her entire attitude around them. Rude, immature, unprofessional and obnoxious. If she finds it difficult to control her jealousy, she should not be working with customers at all. Let alone as a supervisor. She should be able to be professional when serving everyone, like all of the other staff who work at Alpine. Stunning coffee shop - unique, welcoming, with lovely decor. Beautiful location. One of our favourite places to eat. There are a lot of staff, and they are all pleasant, helpful and professional - apart from the supervisor. She totally spoils this coffee shop.

We stopped her after a lovely long walk for a quick bite to eat. Firstly it is dog friendly with plenty of choice of tables, although it was busy we still found a space. You grab a menu, get your table number and join the queue to order food and lunch time is probably not the best time for this. We waited in line for just over 20 minutes before we got served, ordered our food and drinks. Waited another 5 mins for our drinks before making our way to our table to await our food. Coffee and hot chocolate as you would expect, pretty standard. The Sandwich ordered was nice, plenty of filling. The soup was a little bland for my liking and was served with lots of grated carrot on top which was a little odd for leek and potato soup. In summary I would say that is was average, the food was perfectly edible but nothing special and the wait times need addressing.

Expensive for what you get. We visited Alpine for a coffee and a snack and whilst the food was decent, the place is expensive. I had a bacon sandwich and it was £6+ for a bacon sandwich which was pretty much two pieces of mighty white and two rashers of bacon! Over at the bakery you can get the same for £2.50! The service is good and staff pleasant, just think the prices need to reflect what is being sold.

Touring through the area and feeling a little peckish i stopped into Alpine Coffee Shop for lunch. They have a varied menu, including serving a traditional breakfast all day. I ordered their Welsh rarebit which included a serving of leafy greens and a cider. It was all very tasty and nicely done. An excellent lunch stop.

we've had good meals here in the past but this was the second disappointing lunch we have had. Mediocre rarebit with bread that was too hard to cut. Can't blame the serving staff, they work their socks off, but food standards seem to be going gradually down. Pity, it's such a nice place.

The place itself is lovely, nice design and well equipped for a verity of sized groups. Cons : - the toasties were soggy and greasy. - the staff are quite abrupt and look sad to be working. - there is 1 toilet for everyone, men, women, disabled etc. - the food comes out quick (positive) but tastes like it’s been stood out for a while. Pros : - lovely little set up with great furniture and decor. - quick service. - well priced. - good size portions. - very good menu selection. - lovely areas for seating. - room for big groups as well as table for 2’s. - milkshakes were 11/10 Would I come back? No, probably not just because I feel there are better places on this strip where the food is fresh.

Stopped off for something to eat before heading home to Surrey after a week in Wales. Nice looking from outside. Has an extra seating area across from main shop with fire and extra tables. I had the Welsh Rarebit and my partner had the traditional cooked breakfast. He loved his food. I liked mine but the bread let it down. It was sourdough and wafer thin so it was very difficult to cut through. Even the melted cheese on top couldn't soften it. Gave up in the end. I was disappointed as had a wonderful rarebit in Criccieth the day before. Dog friendly and prices are what you would expect. Food looked good on other peoples plates as it passed by.

We've been regulars for over three years and have always been very impressed with the range of vegan options (at least one or more flapjack and cake option every day, multiple cooked vegan options on the menu), the service and the value for money. Staff have always been incredibly kind and welcoming despite the large seasonal staff turnover. We noticed over the last 6 months that the size of the breakfasts has decreased and a few of the components have disappeared but felt although disappointing it was probably to be expected with the cost of living going up. However, over the last few months the baked vegan options seem to have disappeared almost entirely. On my last visit I was initially told one of the cakes was vegan when it wasn't, and was then very curtly told they didn't have anything vegan. When I enquired whether the staff knew why there hadn't been anything vegan for a while (I was trying to find out if this was just bad luck/unavoidable or whether the plan is not to do vegan baked goods going forward and therefore isn't worth us coming in unless for a full meal) the group of new staff members responded quite rudely, with one obviously rolling her eyes at me and behaving although it was incredibly unreasonable to ask. We had also heard a new staff member loudly complaining about customers on our previous visit. Really disappointing given that the cafe has always prided itself on a great vegan offering and benefited from super friendly staff. Long standing staff member Tracey who was on service was as lovely as ever, but sadly I don't think we'll be coming in much if at all moving forwards. Such a shame and would love to see it return to its former glory.

Looking for a veggie breakfast and it was good. Not excellent but decent. Local veggie sausage, eggs, falafel, beans, toast. The eggs were a little oily and we weren’t offered a whitening or brown toast. Main issue was apart from Taegen there was no customer service. We walked in clearly unaware of whether we needed to take a seat or wait or head to the bar, ignored by 2 members of staff. Then when asking abruptly told to grab a menu and a seat and order at the bar. For somewhere relying on passing trade a smile and can I help you would have gone very far.

Great spot but not a great choice for Gluten free. Went because of reviews but sadly lack of clarity around what was/ was not gluten free meant I had just a coffee whilst rest of party ate. There were gluten free cake options advertised but these had apparently sold out by 12.30 lunchtime and I was offered a pre packaged biscuit. The staff member taking the order kept stopping to talk to staff. The toilets were beyond dirty. Would give it a miss next time.

One of our party has a dairy allergy and as the board outside advertised vegan options we thought this would be a great place for lunch but sadly we were wrong! The "vegan options "are VERY limited and in fact he was discriminated against by being charged an extra 40p because due to his allergy he could not drink cows milk so had to have oat which we felt very unfair and definitely frustrating. They have decided to do away with Wi-Fi, which, in an area, with no mobile signal meant the kids were bored which again, was disappointing, but clearly Family & friends on holiday are not their target market! The food and drink was "ok", not big portions and nothing special, and unfortunately the scones they had for afternoon tea. were definitely not fresh. Overall a really disappointing experience from somewhere that from the outside looks as though it could be a lovely place for lunch. Given the options available in the area it was just bad luck. We chose this café as we were personally extremely disappointed with this experience and will certainly not be going back and would definitely not recommend it.

I wanted to have the welsh rarebit with bacon but was told it wasn't gluten free, i had to ask them what I could have at the till point. I ended up having a cheese, tomato and caramalised onion toastie with gluten free bread. My husband had the welsh rarebit with falafel, both orders arrived promptly. Amazing selection of cakes, I opt'd for my favourite lemon drizzle and a cup of tea. The cake was delicious and the loose tea really nice too. Atmosphere really nice too, we sat out on the station side which was very quiet.

We came for high tea, but the selection of sweets and savouries offered with it was a bit peculiar. Would have expected more variety especially in the savoury bits.

Nice home cooked food, friendly staff! Visited a few times now, a basis looking place but the quality and choice of good home cooked food with really friendly service keeps us coming back and recommending to family. Great value, easy access and free parking.

The ice cream was awesome and very tasty! 😊 The only let down was that the staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming (it's my first time visiting Llandudno!).

Tried to charge for a squeeze of Costco ketchup on my son’s chips after I spent £15 on drinks and chips. It’s easy to spend my hard earned money ANYWHERE else. Usually really like going out of my way to support local independent business that go the extra mile to attract more tourists to the area…. Won’t be coming back here unfortunately. Shame as the location is great. Perhaps this is a little petty, but I thought it just plain mean.
