Just had breakfast at Habit. Probably the lovliest cafe ever. Food (1 Habit breakfast, 1 veggie) was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff are really lovely; tearoom is spotlessly clean. Love the shelves of exchange books - all arranged by genre - cookery, poetry, children's etc. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Llandudno, we would definitely recommend Habit!

I’m not usually a fan of tea & cakes. I ordered a coffee whilst waiting for my car to be put through its MOT in nearby Kwikfit. What a pleasant treat to find bookshelves of poetry, cookbooks and novels to borrow. The staff are adorable. I loved the open kitchen, the menu, the inside/ outside seating, the daily joke and that they have alternative milk and delicious decaf coffee.

Lovely breakfast for a family of 3 this morning en route to the train station. Friendly and welcoming staff. Coffee was lovely and hot too.

What a lovely place in the heart of a quaint town. The vibe is relaxed and the tables outside are great for those sunny days in December lol. Great all day breakfast or just coffee and a toasted cake!!

Myself, mum, a friend and her son went to Llandudno on Saturday. We went in here and asked for a table, we were told the empty tables were "closed" and they didn't have any others free. While we waited, an gentleman walked in and was sat at one of the "closed" tables. My friend was told he was OK to sit at a closed table as he's a regular and he was served. I won't ever be visiting this cafe as its not a welcoming place. Very disappointed in this. While I appreciate some of you will say its good for them to look after locals, my friend is also a local and has been to this cafe often, it was the only place she suggested we go as it has always been good. Not anymore. One star is too much for this cafe. We ended up at another cafe who were more than welcoming and made room for us by moving two tables together.

Fabulous festive lunch after a spontaneous trip to Llandudno and our first visit to The Habit. A lovely cafe, well looked after and clean, with exceptional customer service. The food was absolutely delicious - we look forward to our next visit!

After having dined here since the cafe opened, we won't be going again!! Today we popped in for food. There were five tables free, some with signs on saying table closed. Upon querying about free tables, a young member of staff, said there was nothing available. We took our child with ASD outside. I went back inside and down to the till to query when their next table would be free. To be told no. At the same time an older male entered the premises and proceeded to a "closed table" where another member of staff opened the table for him. Upon querying what I had just witnessed, the young girl said 'He's a regular and eats here daily'. To my response: 'So are we? What should that matter?' After all, we were here first? The girl was rude and unprofessional and shrugged it off. Never in the years of coming here to eat, have we received this treatment. We will not recommend them going forward. We left with our five year old son in bits and hungry. The staff should be ashamed. This type of behaviour is what kills off a good establishment. Disability clearly not welcome anymore. There was an adequate level of staff on both the floor and in the kitchen. There should be no reason to favour specific customers, especially when you have people waiting.

I had breakfast here twice recently. I thought the menu had something for everyone. The food was tasty and served by helpful staff. I loved the art on the wall and the themes of the book shelves.

Place is vastly overpriced!!! £2.90 for a can of Pepsi!! Let’s say they’re buying them wholesale at 50p each it’s nearly a 250% profit!! I know these places have to survive but come on that is outrageous!!! £7.50 for a bacon sandwich!! Again that is outrageous pricing!! The last thing bought was a pot of tea which had the high-ish price of £4.20. Service was quick and efficient but unless you’re Rockefeller I’d suggest going somewhere else. In fact go to the train station which is less than a five minute walk and go to the cafe there. £7.50 for a large breakfast which is much better value than this place. Double egg and chips is only £5.50 at the station cafe so again much better value. We sat outside to vape and their was zero atmosphere which is understandable. I did notice the women who worked there kept calling out to their passing friends and having a chat which I have no problem with. I had the sneaky suspicion that locals get a different (lower) price than tourists. To sum up this cafe I’d say AVOID AVOID AVOID. Their are better places that serve much better food and a much healthier price.

Very nice Caffè services was excellent

There’s an odd culty Christian vibe to the place, sat down with my partner to order and to my right was a towering framed photograph of the cross, backdropped with a sunset, proselytising me over my lunch. The decor was also strange, the framed pictures about the place are so random and the white walls feel harsh and unwelcoming, there’s no actual warmth or character to the place at all, it’s sterile. The waiters also seemed quite judgy and inconsiderate, and they would scare the birds away if they got too close to the restaurant which is mean in my opinion (what are birds, if not one of God’s creatures?) The food itself was underwhelming, bland and boring but the portion sizes were good for me However, the place is very accessible, there’s a ramp at the entrance and it’s spacious enough to get through the restaurant with a wheelchair.

Was really busy when we visited. The staff were amazing and very apologetic for it being so busy!. Lovely cake

Visited in the afternoon of August Bank Holiday Sunday for a coffee only.We sat outside. Although there were several young girls supposedly waiting on they stood near the door talking. Eventually we had to ask for our table to be cleared, and wiped and gave our order. All the other, empty, tables outside remained uncleared and unwiped( until we left!). Before leaving l visited the toilet which was, to say the least, in a dirty state, particularly for a restaurant. Thank goodness we didn't eat. Wouldn't visit again. Sorry!

We really enjoy a ‘real’ coffee but deliberately try and stay away from the main brands(Costa, Nero, Starbucks) and get some money into the independent ones. The location was great here as we sat outside under the canopy watching the World go by and the service was pretty good. However, we had a Cappuccino and a flat white which are quite possibly the worst ‘real’ coffee we’ve ever had. They were weak and milky. The flat white was more like a normal style coffee with no frothed milk on top. They resembled an instant coffee with half a teaspoon of granules. Such a shame as the machine is probably capable of producing a good coffee, but a poor choice of beans and badly trained staff have resulted in terrible coffees. We didn’t tried the food so I can’t comment on that.

Very friendly place,enjoyed the food very much, coffee was top notch. Toast was bit too toasted for my liking and I wish they offered scrambled and poached eggs for the breakfast

Lovely place for lunch. Amazingly friendly staff and really welcomed my dog. They handled a rude customer who was awful about my dog calmly and very dignified. Definitely recommend. We will come back!

We had lunch here on 06/07 and it was nice. I had a salad and he had a sandwich, both lovely. Would have been a 5 but it took a while for the order to be taken. Lots of staff (4) chatting behind the counter and not prioritising service. A customer went to order at the counter due to a bit of a wait at the table and was told it's table service and they had go back to the table. Why not just take their order?

Not value for money. The quality of the food was good but unfortunately portion control let it down. We ordered 2 sausage and welsh rarebit sandwiches but each sandwich only had one sausage cut in half. 2 hot sandwiches, 2 teas and 2 glasses of coke for over £28. Disappointing

Went in for a snack had an egg mayo sandwich and a side of chips all fresh good service a nice atmosphere a pleasant experience 😁

We’ve eat there everyday at our stay in Llandudno. The food is amazing and we loved it! Coming back to try other delicious foods. Highly recommended!!

Would give them no stars if possible which is a shame as it was highly recommended by a friend. Waited 20 minutes without being served, my husband then approached the till only to be told it is table service to which they proceeded to serve 3 tables that arrived after us. Disappointing customer service!!

I'm sorry to write this review, but I must speak out. As a family, we used to come here quite regularly, the standard of food was top class, service was how it should be and the atmosphere was relaxing, warm, comfortable and you could hear yourself think. Having visited recently, a huge change and sadly for the worst possible. Having ripped out the carpeting, changed the format, removed the original lighting, replacing everything and ripping out the heart of what was once an amazing restaurant, it's become another one of those loud american type cafe's. Sorry to say it, but that's how it is. You walk in, lino floor makes the place like a large reverb chamber, music playing so you can't hear yourself think or have a decent conversation, heavily changed menu where the good stuff has gone. NO GAMON for a start. that's just wrong. A good number of dishes have gone. There seems to be a member of serving staff with a very bad attitude, you may as well not exist. So, we won't be coming back any further, you have lost our business.

Visited for first time during the victorian weekend. Was attracted by the bustle of the place and people sat down outside. Service, food and atmosphere was spot on. Well done folks!!

We've both had habit breakfast (which is the larger option) at £9.60, consisting of one egg, one sausage, one hash brown, some baked beans and two slices of bacon. One toast sliced into halves. No tomatoes, no mushrooms, and wouldn't do any swaps or extras even if you wanted to pay extra. Both bacon and egg were barely cooked. Pot of tea for one cost £3. You can get much better value breakfast that is also better cooked elsewhere, just a short walk away. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

We found this lovely cafe after a brisk walk along the promenade, we dropped into town to find something other than fish and chips. Really pleasant staff and the food was excellent. We were given plenty of time to enjoy our food and drinks

Excellent spot for breakfast or lunch. Had the rarebit and some coffee, which were fantastic. Really lovely staff, incredibly friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We even came back later for another coffee and some cake! Would highly recommend the carrot cake as it’s a standout.

My Wife got Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas, and I got the Welsh Rarebit, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed, until towards the very end of my meal, I ended up with a 2” long grey hair in my mouth!!

Very nice, friendly staff ,amazing cakes ,quick service and overall an amazing place to visit. Hot chocolates are to die for and chips amazing too . Coffee is spectacular . Will revisit.

Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches. 1 came with 2 rashers and 1 came with 3. Very fatty undercooked greasy bacon. Was possibly the worst I have had. It was a treat from my mother who is a regular and I didn't want to complain as it would have upset her. At the price of over £7 each they should have been absolutely perfect. Very disappointed.

Popped in for lunch today, and the place was full. Made very welcome by staff AND fellow customers who gave us their table. Ordered Omelette and chips which was beautifully cooked.....Staff were super friendly and polite and whilst they were rushed off their feet, they were very good. Busy cafe speaks for itself.

Lovely café me and my friends went for lunch at the habit one of my friends got the Philly cheesesteak loaded fries and my other friend got the New York backstreet BBQ loaded fries and I got a BLT it was absolutely delicious 10/10 will be recommending to friends and family 👌(also our waitress was lovely) Thank you👍

The main breakfast was fine, but I ordered eggs Benedict, when it arrived the hollandaise sauce looked like custard, and didn't taste of anything, the poached eggs were under done, which for me is a real no no. Maybe just for me I ordered the wrong thing, but noone asked how our meal was, which I also find not acceptable.

If you're heading to Llandudno then you need to visit The Habit. Had a delicious turkey Christmas dinner there yesterday. Absolutely faultless. The meat and roaties were cooked to perfection along with a good choice of seasonal veg. Ample gravy too. Followed by a generous cup of tea, which actually made 3 cups! Great staff and the property looked well maintained and spotlessly clean. So handy to have toilets too. Will definitely be returning and can highly recommend.

First visit had jacket potato but not cooked only half cooked 😔😔

My wife and I often come here and I also come with people that I support through the week. The staff here are very friendly and professional and go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. We used to go elsewhere but I think that now The Habit will be our go to place.

Visit here each time we come to Llandudno. Excellent food and too cup of tea! Can always rely on quality at this tea room.

This is our third visit to the tearooms. We tend to go for tea and cake which is always very good . Today , we probably went at the wrong time as it was very busy and loud . This was not the fault of the cafe rather customers who did not take into consideration that there were other people there also.

Conveniently sited in the main shopping area of the Town, behind the Sea-Front, this could best be described as an upmarket Cafe. It offers anything from hot brews, snacks, to main meals, served from the morning and into the late afternoon. The Menu has a good variety of dishes and caters for some special dietary requirements. The fare as presented is certainly acceptable. As for Value, it is reasonable for what is on offer. There is ample seating both inside and outside. This establishment is Dog-Friendly. The nearest public car parking is probably at Llandudno Railway Station. Major Credit Cards are accepted.

Lovely clean restaurant, service was great. Disappointed with roast of the day portion which was chicken the day I visited. I got 4 tiny pieces of chicken for over £12! Laughable! I won't be eating roast of the day there again any time soon.

Popped in for breakfast after dropping eldest off for National Express. V quiet at 9.30 on Sunday so service was fast . Small breakfast was two rashers of bacon, egg and sausage with either fried bread or toast dripping in butter- loved it. Pot of tea for two and set up for the day.

Average food, yukky chips. We sat outside and the waitress who served us was grumpy at best. Baked potato was OK, we weren't offered any sauces but heard others being asked if they wanted any.

Great little place just up from the railway station. We had the small breakfast, which was ample in size, hot and very quickly served. The prices were reasonable too. The staff were friendly and chatty. Would recommend.

Awful.. Chose from the daily special menu, a "roast" dinner.. Pre-sliced beef from a packet small yorkshire pudding Tinned peas unpeeled new potatoes powdered gravy pale carrots All on a very small plate. One of the worst "roast" dinners I've ever had. Knew I should have gone to kfc.

We called in for breakfast here while shopping, A busy place when we arrived , Ordered small breakfasts which was a sausage, bacon, egg and toast or fried bread (no beans) and tea for two, The bacon was very salty so we asked for a sausage to replace the bacon, We think it was overpriced at £20.80 Staff were all polite and the place was clean, not the place to relax, if you dont pay and go when finished they give you the bill
