Zip World Fforest Caffi in Conwy

Fantastic cafe for some food when in the area. Good service, clean and friendly. Great food options. Nice place to stop when in the area. Would defo recomend.

Called in early ahead of our sessions at Zip World on the Fforest Coaster and Tree top nets. We had breakfast which was superb. The bacon was so tasty! Service with a smile too!

Food was excellent and good quality. We only ordered light bites, not knowing there was another side to the menu 😂. However, everything was still great and I can’t imagine how good the burgers must be! Coffee was great as well.

We visited as a family and we went on the forest coaster and swing ride and everyone loved it great for adults and children. we had such great fun highly recommend

We called in for breakfast before going on the Fforest Coaster. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the cafe is dog friendly inside and also has some outdoor seating. The cafe was clean and comfy. The coffee was good. There was no problem with changing a vegetarian breakfast to make it vegan, even offered spread for the toast rather than the usual butter. Offered Oat Milk. Good value breakfast.

Amazing place staff were lovely I had chip and hash browns which were amazing my sister had a panini and she said it was good aswell the waiting time was about 10 minutes 10/10 place 👍👍

As with all these places the price isn’t cheap and as the children (who are 16 & 17) couldn’t go on the zip safari by themselves, we paid for them to do the tree hoppers. They enjoyed it but completed it in about half an hour (an expensive half hour at £25 each). Easy to find, good size car park and it was busy but someone was there showing you where to park. Toilets were clean.

It was such a nice experience we had in Fforest caffi. We are really starving after doing activities in the zipworld and went for our lunch in this caffi. The food is amazing specially the welsh beef burger and the tomato soup. Also, the staff is really helpful and working beyond their duties. We are worried as the coach going to the railway is every hour and unfortunately we missed it. The staff of the caffi help us find a cab to pick us up. Very friendly staff. Thumbs up for the Fforest caffi.

Zip line safari lasted roughly 3 hours and was so much fun. (2 adults and 1 1 year old) . The first 30 mins was the training section to ensure everyone felt confident before heading to up to the main course. It was raining heavy but still went ahead as normal , would recommend buying the £4 gloves in reception if I’m cold weather! Staff were really helpful and friendly , and made my nervous daughter feel at ease. Once in the treetops, the challenges vary in difficulty but nothing impossible to achieve. Lots of zipping around the trees amongst things to climb and balance on too. If you enjoy go ape activities I would highly recommend and definitely worth the experience while visiting wales! The coaster cart was fun but quite a lengthy wait even after arriving the booked time so would recommend allowing up to an hour to do this in total! Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out!

Good chips with cheese and bacon. Nice selection of cakes and drinks. Spooky at night with fear forest on Halloween.

They say it's the best coffee in Wales, I concur, based on experience so far! Friendly and helpful staff, very polite and enthusiastic. A mistake was made but it was dealt with so promptly and cheerfully. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and not trying too hard to be huge, and no-one batted an eyelid at half the party ordering breakfast and the rest waiting 10 minutes for the lunch menu. I'd honestly come back just for breakfast. You don't have to be thrill seeking on the zipworld experience to visit the caffi, but you can hear the squeals of delight from the plummit, the swing and the treetop bouncy track. Immaculate toilets and lots of recycling bins.

Paid £50 to wait 20 minutes for 4 mediocre burgers, only to find out they got our order wrong. No apologies given. Won’t be returning here.

We checked out early that morning from our Airbnb and were booked on the Fforest Coaster. I needed breakfast. This cafe is clean, tidy & great location. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Service was quick. The bacon bap was delicious with my cuppa. Set us up for the day.

Came with family 1 oap 1 special need child. We only visited to go on the forest costed. Staff were awesome. Let us stay on the ride to complete our goes because of mobility. Safety brief good. Rides were good cafe decent prices could easily spend the day there. Pre book everything though. Although they did give me a 10% off voucher so you could rebook whilst your there. 100% would come back and recommend. Staff are great throughout

My fiancee and myself booked the zip safari as we were staying not too far from the Zip World. The Velocity 2 zip line seemed a bit expensive at £185 for the 2 of us compared to how long the zip line would actually take and at £40 each the zip safari looked like a better option. Even though it was raining on the day we had booked for we still had a great time and being up in the trees gave some shelter from the rain. Our instructor (Hugh or Hew) was excellent and took his time explianing everything to us, also gave people in our group encourgement on some of the more scary parts of the course which really helped. Some parts of the course aren't for the faint hearted cuhc as the surf boards and the log poles. There are plenty of 'zip lines' to do on the zip safari, some short some reasonably long but all of them were great fun. We would definiently visit and do the zip safari agin, hopefully the weather will be a bit better next time.

Really enjoyed coming here. Came for a coffee while having a catch up with friends. Was served by a lovely blue hair girl. Very polite!

Incredibly well organised centre. Good instruction from staff ensuring we were all ready to be set loose on the high tree tops and wires. Not for the faint hearted or for those who don’t like heights! Be warned it’s quite a long course (up to 2.5 hours) and once on and up there, there is no going back.

A very basic and limited offering of food and drinks. Don't know if this was limited due to covid or if its always like this. Next visit we will definitely be taking a picnic!!

We had a brilliant day at zipworld. We did the tree hoppers and the tree top nets. The tree top nets are lots of fun (and a great workout for the adults!). Huge thanks to Chris on the tree hoppers who “rescued” our 5 year old when she panicked half way round. She rode his back like a baby monkey and he spoke to her so calmly and patiently. The food at the cafe was better than we expected. I had a delicious crispy chilli beef salad. Although it didn’t affect us directly, there were 40 minute queues for the forest coaster, which didn’t seem fair when time slots are pre allocated.

Came here after going on the Fforest Coaster. As it was a Monday, then it was quite quiet. Quickly served and had burgers which were tasty and hot. Good service and quite a few tables to sit at. Was able to use my Tastecard without an issue.

Amazing quick service, everything was gorgeous. Group of 10 and we all got food quickly. Mixture between burgers, goujons, chips, really tasty and good value and quality.

We were booked on activities in the afternoon so decided rather than having lunch before we went , we’d have it at the Fforest caffi as the Govt ‘eat out to help out’ website clearly stated Fforest Caffi had registered to participate. Ordered and were then told they wouldn’t honour it !! Food expensive for what it is and we wouldn’t have chosen to eat there if it wasn’t for the offer and feel this was misleading of them and a bit of a con really !

A little expensive for what you get, coffee served in takeaway cups even when sitting in.

We had left early to get to Zip World Fforest and went straight onto the coasters so were starving by 10am. We headed down to the cafe to see what we could find and were really impressed. The food was surprisingly great quality, really good value and the friendly staff were very flexible and accommodating.

Went here today with my wife and two children (aged 12 and 7) and we had a wonderful time. We done the tree hoppers and the fforest coaster. The staff on the tree hoppers were so helpful and great with the kids. The fforest coaster was amazing and brilliant fun. All staff were friendly and it’s in a nice setting too

We started with a delicious lunch in the cafe at the entrance. We had 4 meals of burger, sausage and mash, pie of the day and steak sandwich. All were amazing but of if I had to recommend one it would be the steak sandwich ... I had proper food envy.Then onto the Forest Coaster. We'll organised and the lads absolutely loved it. A bit of queuing between turns (3 turns). There's a video camera on your coaster so be sure to smile. The video they show you is a just a sample and what you actually received is a download able video with music and all cities it's ace and we'll worth the £8.

So good!Fast, fun, and something completely different. I went on the ride with my 8 year old son as he was too small but it was so much fun. My daughter was tall enough and she went on by her self. We all really enjoyed it.

A great (although expensive) place to stop over after your find day on the coaster or zip lines!

This is a review for the cafe only, the zipwires are excellent and are on a separate review. £2 for a tepid can of Coke is ridiculous and they’re sooooo slow. Any attraction that makes Centre Parcs seem like a bargain is going too far.

Travelled an hour to be told activities were all prebooked and no space till 6pm, that’s ridiculous as it doesn’t state bookings only therefore should save some slots for people who arrive on the day.You need to sort yourselves out. We will never go again or recommend.Badly organised

We ordered a few dishes for lunch and they were all nice and hot and very tasty. The rarebit was delicious and the salad and coleslaw garnish was a nice touch for this sort of activity centre food. Other dishes were loaded fries and cheesy fries and they were nice and hot and good portion size. Complimentary water was available which is good, save money and the environment. The cabin type style suited the venue and the staff were good.

The wood cabin was fitting for the setting and the seats where nice outside and inside. All of the food was good and hot and water was free, the rarebit was especially good. It was great for a rest and refuel in between activities.

We love this set up, loads to do and a great cafe to rest up and have a drink or some snacks, nice choice of food and beverages, lovely building and great woodland setting

Avoid avoid avoid. No food in the cafe, the burger van fodder you had to pay for in advance up a flight of muddy wooden steps. Confusing and crap. We shan’t bother with the other two venues.

Ok it’s pricy at high season - £94 for four of us to have three trips on the forest coaster, but boy was it fun!! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, even offering to let us go on again when we were held up by slow pokes who were breaking all the time (big jessies) - my 8 year old was braver. Excellent fun, albeit at a price.

After some fun on the forest rides my boys wanted some lunch so proceed to the cafe. Ordered two basic lunches, Sausages/Chips and plain burger/chips. After waiting 30 min our food arrived Sausges/Chips fine but the plain burger came with Cheese and the chips came with beans. Brought it back and waited another 20 min before we got plain burger and chips covered with beans. Dreadful communication from all staff. Waited another 10 min before getting a plate of chips. 1 hour of my life wasted in that cafe. Bring your own packed lunch and drive by this place at all costs. To Marni who reads these reviews, I was not the only parent giving out about the service. Also you need to get loos seen to by Dyno Rod as they stink on the way down from the rides. £13 wasted on this place, very expensive for what you get. Annoyed.

So much fun and much faster than we expected. Would definitely recommend this for adults and teenagers.

We had just had a great time on the coaster and called in for a late lunch there was one couple in front of me who ordered burgers then it was my turn I wanted 3 bowls of chips guy serving said “not taking any more orders” no sorry we are finished but you can get sandwiches out of the chiller or anything ! Young lady on till looked really embarrassed I asked if he was refusing to serve me even although they were cooking for the previous couple he said yes he was but the chef was nearby and said he would do us the chips. Pity this chap was the only staff member who was not polite and helpful bit of a damper on what had been an enjoyable day.

Far too expensive for average food

Nice cafe lovely food can be a little slow when busy but extremely expensive prices. The hills can be difficult to navigate if you are not steady on your feet.

We really enjoyed Fforest Coaster and Plummet 2 here. Having traveled several hours to get here we were pleased to find a cafe and good facilities.

As I only drink de-caffeinated coffee, it is often hit / miss in quality. Not here. Excellent coffee. Simple but good menu.

Had a great day at zip safari. Bit let down by the caffi though. Had a couple of bacon baps on arrival, lots of bacon on a Dry bap, no butter or spread and very pricey. Had beans on toast later, first time I’ve ever had beans on DRY TOAST , again no butter or spread and again very pricey. Would highly recommend zip safari and the forest coaster, but avoid the cafe unless you have money to burn.

No indoor space and menu options very weak. Nice coffee and service.. They are losing a lot of potential revenue.

I'm mainly leaving this review for Dafydd who was brilliant, I was doing the small zipline course with my 3 boys youngest who is 6. Youngest got a little scared but Dafydd came to the rescue and talked him through the obstacle he was stuck on then left him to finish - leaving a very happy and proud boy. We also did the alpine sledging thing which was great fun. All the centres are very well run, yes can be pricey but worth IMO.

Expensive but a good place for kids

Great coffee and very informative chat with the lady in there. We forgot to come back for the steak pie you recommended so we will definitely be back later in the year.

Great spot to watch the kids or young adults swinging in the trees. Yeah I also tried it and had a great time and then had a super hot chocolate in Caffi.

Went here after Titan and the Fforest coaster so had worked up an appetite, I had the posh fish finger sandwich which was lovely and a really good amount, it was reasonable priced - £8.95.

Good place to chill out, coffee and bara birth was nice and the staff are friendly.

Went here after our activity, we were very hungry, prices were on a par to pub prices ranging from £8-£10 for a burger, £5 for child’s meal. All food was freshly cooked and portions were excellent. The only thing I would say that the cans were ridiculously expensive £1.95 for a can! Which seemed excessive and not in line with the rest of the menu, worth a visit and seemed to ha e home cooked cakes too.

Very nice cafe, lovely spot to sit out and the food was very tasty and some of it locally sourced. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed the Pieminister pies and great cup of team. Plenty of seating and good views of the activities for spectators.

Great place and staff extremely friendly. Whild away a good hour while waiting for grandchildren having fun on the trampoline.

Very busy place but the staff cope very well considering the amount of people visiting. A snack meal eaten to keep us going and not bad coffee and cake as well.

Really good cafe with very nice menu. Catered for vegetarian in our party with quality alternatives, that were reported as amazing. Portions are large, with the fish finger sandwich containing no less than 7 pieces of homemade battered fish.

Good quality simple food to eat on the go or have a coffee. Limited seating inside so when its cold and wet could do with a bigger area

Visited as a family group. Great service, clean and attractive cafe, staff were friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolates were fab. Pies in the smaller cafe at the top were very tasty too. So good to get tasty food and not cheap and poor fast food at this venue.

We visited this cafe yesterday after the Fforest coaster. We all ordered food, the wait wasn't long. Everyone's food seemed fine, except mine. I ordered a veggie chilli topped with cheese and chips. It was luke warm on the top of the chilli but cold as i got further into the middle. So because of this i didn't enjoy it and left the majority of the meal. As everyone's food was ok i was willing to accept that this was just a one off. However I still wanted to bring this to their attention and would have just accepted an apology. When i told the lady that had served us why I'd hardly touched the veggie chilli the only response i received was a shrug of the shoulders and an "oh dear!" she didn't offer a refund or a replacement meal, neither of these suggestions would have interested me if she'd have just apologised instead of shrugging me off. As we finished our drinks the lady that had served us stared at me while she was in and out the kitchen, this made me feel uncomfortable so not long after we left. I can't bring myself to give below or above 3 stars as everyone elses food was fine, i feel it was more a problem with customer service.

Delicious, we had the ForestBurger which we would recommend. The staff our extremely Helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us, By keeping are order on hold Whilst we participated in the activity. After they took time explaining valuable information to us, which we will need in May when we return. The restaurant is very clean, warm and friendly. I would recommend a visit.

First time of stopping here as all the cafes in Dolgarrog, Trefriw & Llanrwst were shut for Winter so Zip World Fforesf Caffi was a welcome stop to thaw out. Usual cyclists fayre of Beans on Toast & hearty Soup of the Day was great & good value. So this will be added to a list of stopovers when passing Betws & Llanrwst.
