The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Ceredigion Mid Wales

Visited with a friend for the festive afternoon tea. It was served beautifully on a large board. Lovely selection of sandwiches and savorues as well as desserts. Lovely non alcoholic mulled wine too and lots of tea. Perfect afternoon.

Nice job place but girl serving us sneezed not a tea towel and then proceeded to wipe tables with it and kept hold of it to get things out of the microwave - disgusting !

This is a cute place and I liked the relaxed seating at the back. It's quite a casual vibe which is nice. The food was okay. The chips were really good though. Service again was okay. It's a good option for a quick stop in Lampeter but I wouldn't rush back.

Have been here probably half a dozen times, it’s never really been great, but local and easy for us to get to. Nice space and conveniently located, good parking etc. Great use of welsh language - ensuring everything is bilingual, this should be applauded. Painfully slow wait - coffees come immediately, but over 30 minutes wait for the food every time, even if it’s just a sandwich, so drinks are cold / consumed by then. Feels overstuffed very often, one taking orders, two behind observing - not really sure if it’s efficiently run, despite most cafe staff there being paid employees and not volunteers. There certainly isn’t a chance of over-enthusiasm by staff sadly. Cake stand poorly filled, only ever a few sad looking items in there. Food wise - some things ok, others overpriced for what you get. The current fundraiser will hopefully help to keep this facility running, but can’t help feel as though there are several very “easy wins” in terms of making it more cost effective and sustainable to be had. Some business thought lacking.

We went here for an early lunch. My partner had a toastie and I had a panini. There were lots of choices. The service was smiley and friendly and the food was hot and delicious! Would definitely recommend.

We're on holiday, so I normally research places before I visit but we had just visited poppit sands and after leaving we decided to stop in cardigan. This was nigh on the first dog friendly cafe we came too so we took a chance . We only came in for a drink and my wife had a scone so can't comment on the food but if I was able to come back there were plenty of options on the menu that took our fancy. Service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our time there. The place was very cosy and looked like it had lots of different choices of seating on different levels. If I lived locally this would be an ideal place to meet up with friends for a chat. It's also dog friendly which is another bonus.

Gran cafetería, en realidad uno de mis lugareños. El café es fabuloso, el personal es simplemente increíble. Sin embargo, necesita una buena limpieza, yo diría que un buen exfoliante correcto sería extremadamente útil, mirar de cerca hoy en día es en realidad sucio y ha ido empeorando con el tiempo. No estoy llegando al personal, los gerentes de área de café NERO ordenan esta tienda!

Absolutely brilliant, no complaints at all will definitely go again. Service good,nice and clean .I had the rheidol breakfast again the wife had a bacon mushroom and cheese roll and chips excellent

Lovely accommodation and rooms, but beware that there is no WiFi in this place if this concerns you. I would have loved to dine in the pub as the food was lovely if it wasn’t the unfortunate case of having it ‘permanently closed’. Not the sort of place I would stay in compared to last time. <:(

This was a referal as good Portuguese food. Food not good Owner friendly I would not class this as Portuguese I spoke to him regarding the menu and remarked that we love the food in the Ty Madeira Cardiff he said he knew the owner but the food was nothing like the restaurants we have been to.

A welcome sight after a long walk. Pleased to find this proper village pub open when I stopped by late afternoon. Enjoyed a warm welcome and a couple of well served pints.

Staying just down the road this was perfect for us, being within walking distance. The website directed us to a booking page where we put our contact details and date and time required. When we hadn't heard anything the day before our booking we called and had a recorded message stating they were only open Saturday and Sundays, which wasn't what the website said. Extremely disappointed as the menu looked great. You need to update your website please!

Llamado para comer el domingo. No asado, pero había una buena selección de comidas ligeras. Ambos decidimos por Cawl con rollo de granero. Las bebidas llegó rápidamente, pero había un tronco esperar hasta la comida llegó, había terminado una taza de té en el interín. Quizás un retraso en las bebidas se sirven han ayudado? Los cuencos de cawl parecía un poco pequeña, a primera vista, pero resultó ser justo la porción. El sabor de la comida era excelente y perfecto para una tarde de domingo. miserables húmedo El personal era muy educado, y volveremos pronto, espero que el tiempo!

My wife and I were looking forward to lunch (we have never been here before)... we asked what was suitable for vegans? The (confused) assistant behind the counter said 'we can make you some toast with oil on it'... Wow... Is that really all Artisans has to offer vegans? I would have given no stars , but Google won't let me... UPDATE: Having seen the response from the owner (albeit 2 years later) and seeing the owners defensive and arrogant response to ANY negative reviews I definitely will not be returning... I assume there is still an absolute paucity of vegan options available? Other (far better) local cafes are available, where the management do not have such a high handed and dismissive attitude towards complaints. What happened to 'putting the customer first'? Or listening to complaints with a constructive and positive attitude? And having spoken to other locals, the food is not all that either.... and if you are unhappy with the food or service don't bother complaining as you will get short shrift. Clearly the management have taken a leaf out of the Basil Fawlty school of customer service...

We were staying at the hotel, in a good room with a lovely view of the bay. Of course the weather was horrible. So we were a captive audience. The food was really good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was the best I had on this trip, and I did have a full English everyday. Good place.
