Went here today for lunch. Ordered a brie and bacon baguette. Asked the girl to make sure my bacon was well done. When it arrived the " bacon" looked like cubes of cold ham. Tasteless and very unlike any bacon I've had elsewhere. If it doesn't look like bacon, taste like bacon and feel like bacon then it's probably......... When I took it back they did offer to change it saying that their bacon comes very thick so they cut it up. They also said that they had no more of the type of baguette so I said not to bother wondering what I would get in its place! All in all neither my wife nor I were impressed and I will avoid in the future.

Stopped off on our way to the National Trust at Llanerchaeron for lunch. Nice bright deli and cafe with friendly staff. The cheese platter and the pork pie platter were excellent, the cheese one in particular with several local cheeses. They also served a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. A good choice for lunch with toasties, baguettes, sandwiches as well as various platters all reasonably priced. Cakes looked lovely but too full to try. Easy to find on the High Street and plenty of parking either on the main road or nearby car parks.

We usually pop into the Town Hall Cafe for coffee, cake (and occasionally lunch) every couple of weeks or so. The cafe itself is always clean, light and airy. The genetleman owner is usually serving and always welcoming. The selection of cakes is good, it does however seem to depend on what day we've been in, but always nice. Today we had a panini with accompanying side salad and crisps plus a bowl of carrot and coriander soup complete with warm brown bread roll and Welsh mature cheese - both very tasty and good portion size. Only complaint, as noted by a few reviewers is that too many of the tables are reserved. I guess that's a good thing for the business - maybe they could do with opening a second premises?!

Whilst on holiday, we arranged to meet some friends in Lampeter for lunch but where to go? During a previous trip last year we had a most enjoyable lunch at the Town Hall Cafe Deli and so decided to give it another try. Well, we were not disappointed! We had taken the precaution of booking a table for four in advance of our visit (a tip worth remembering because it is usually full at lunchtimes!) and, when we arrived, we were greeted with smiles all-round and then guided to a nice quiet table that was already laid up for us with a “Reserved” sign on it. The menus were then provided (as was a jug of water and glasses) and we chose fresh homemade soup and sandwich panini which was made using local cheeses. The food was of a very high quality and nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this particular "café" certainly deserves a 5 star rating – in every way!Highly recommended.

Been a couple of times, every visit was a trial. Pretentious prices mixed with a poor seating arranges makes the atmosphere decidedly dull. The coffee blend is great, but spoiled by a bizzare choice of cups. The latte for example, is put in a cup and not a glass. This wouldn't be a problem except both sizes are too small and become disgusting in minutes thanks to the concentration of caffeine. Staff are mostly inoffensive except for the older gentleman who runs coffees and the female manager who both have extremely poor attitudes. Wouldn't advise anyone, especially students, to touch the place.

Have been coming in here for a while now and thought it was about time I left a review.Lampeter has several small cafes and coffee shops so competition is there, but The Town Hall seems to effortlessly attract customers due to its welcoming atmosphere and quality of food and service. The owners seem to take pride in what they do and genuinely enjoy themselves with the work, always happy and talkative, perfect levels of customer service. Same goes for the few staff members that have served us over time, always great service. Also is nice that we have come in before 10 minutes before closing and they have still cooked for us and given the same great unrushed service, which has been in contrast to other places where staff have refused to serve food an hour before closing despite advertising they do so. Food wise, I can't think of anything to really suggest as a negative point which is good. They have a set menu of 'standard' sandwiches, alongside platters of other things such as cheeses and meats. But, you can add/remove things from said choices so I always end up with some strange customization of a sandwich which staff are always happy to accommodate for and is always delicious. Also, am not usually a fan but their coleslaw is absolutely fantastic! They also offer gluten free options which is always a bonus and made the selection here even better when coming in.Coffee wise I've been to the majority of local places alongside the usual large chains, TH coffee is well made and cannot fault them at all there.Overall, is a great cafe and highly recommended for breakfast/lunch or anything which may arise. Great atmosphere and I think that given it is usually quite full its a testament to how good they are.

It's quite difficult to find a cafe who serve up good coffee so we were pleasantly surprised when sampling the coffee here. You could actually taste the coffee with no bitterness or sourness, which is often the case, and just the right temperature too. Not a criticism as such and It might have been just the table we sat at and I can understand how it could have been overlooked with the cafe being so popular but the laminated menu didn't give a good impression with stains all over it. Excellent food, friendly plentiful staff working efficiently. This is a lovely restaurant situated in a wonderful old town house. I would recommend the Deli platter consisting of a selection of meets, cheese and pickles. The hard working staff do a fantastic job of looking after their customers with a wonderful pleasantness rarely felt in many of restaurants in the UK. It is of course therefore a very busy and popular venue and perhaps the only downside is, due to the small space, is the customers who come in to buy only coffee and use the internet taking up all of the tables.

The food and service are fantastic. You need to get there early as it fills up quickly. Staff are child friendly but its a bit small to be comfortable with young children. Love their mocha and their daily soup is nice. Good selection of local and international products on sale as well.

I have spent alot of time holidaying and traveling around Wales. With every trip I try my up-most to past through the beautiful Market town of Lampeter, with just one goal in mind, a truly scrumptious lunch at the Town Hall Cafe Deli! This Cafe not only has freshly baked homemade bread, pastries and cakes but careful crafted main meal dishes, unique to everyday. With a vast menu the staff at the Town hall can cater to a range of dietary requirements, which is a pleased surprise for West Wales. To finish off, this great cafe have staff to match their wonderful menu, keen to please, friendly and engaging they make the dinning experience both comfortable and exciting. I could not recommend a Town Hall Cafe Deli experience more.

A great place for morning coffee and a snack.Cooked breakfasts are not on the menu.Have been there many times. Sadly only for morning coffee, so can't comment on lunch. The coffee is very good and the snacks very well presented. A loyalty card system is in operation for coffee, which is great. The Cafe is light airy and a pleasure to be in. Wifi not available which is a shame, in this day and age. Certainly Recommended. Also in the centre of town and can be fitted in with a bit of shopping.

Prices vary on a daily basis. The atmosphere is deeply unwelcoming, &, if they make a mistake in billing, they blame the customer. Nothing would induce me to go back. VERY aggressive male proprietor.

We are always looking for lunch stops rather than a main meal and this was just right. I had a baguette with mozzarella cheese, tomato and pesto dressing, I opted for the extras of salad and coleslaw, my husband had the chicken sandwich with crisps as an extra. We thought we were enjoying a lunch in the Med, especially as it was a glorious day and we were able to sit outside. It is wheelchair accessible even though a small place. The bill came to £11.60, this was with a mineral water for me and tea for my husband. The food was excellent and will certainly be calling again when we are in the area.

This was a referal as good Portuguese food. Food not good Owner friendly I would not class this as Portuguese I spoke to him regarding the menu and remarked that we love the food in the Ty Madeira Cardiff he said he knew the owner but the food was nothing like the restaurants we have been to.
