Went on are holidays to new quay and went in this shop got a kids the sup shack hoodie and hoodie for myself and my partner got himself a t-shirt really like them. Will still be wearing them back down in south Wales. Lovely staff and very helpful.

Stayed here in May, the suite we had was lovely brilliant sea view from all windows. You have access to a balcony with lovely furniture again overlooking the sea. Breakfast is lovely so much choice served in your room to eat while looking out at sea. Richard and Diane the owners can’t do enough for you. We rebooked for for next year before leaving.

I ACTUALLY STAYED HERE FOR A FEW DAYS AND EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT THE FAMILY MADE ME FEEL AT HOME AND MY APARTMENT WAS BRILL, THERE WERE AMAZING VIEWS OF BEACH AND SEA FROM THE ACCOMMODATION. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND BROUGHT TO MY APARTMENT EACH MORNING WHICH I LOVED 😀 I CAN'T PRAISE IT ENOUGH AND WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN 😀

What a place, stunning food, stunning views, lovely people. We had burgers whilst staying down the road and returned the following night for exactly the same. Best burgers in New Quay, Fact! Host is a lovely fella. Will be back next year.

Visited in July and stayed in room with seaview. Everything about this wonderful little place is top notch. Accommodation was brilliant, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and breakfast (which is brought by Richard to your room) is the best. Cereals, yogurts, toast, fresh pot of tea or coffee and full cooked breakfast. We had the best time staying at The Sup Shack, and the view from the large seating area for guests staying there is the icing on the cake. Richard and family are so welcoming and make you feel at so at home from the moment you arrive. We can't wait to visit this little gem again.

We had a wonderful stay here. Can't praise the service and standards highly enough. The location, staff and facilities are the best around. Cant be beaten. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting my favourite coast. Thank you. We will be back soon.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Sup Shack. We have been visiting New Quay for many years and stayed in several different hotels and holiday homes but this hotel holds a special place in our hearts. The suites are perfect with a separate seating area/lounge including sofa, tv, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a table and chairs for eating breakfast. The rooms are clean, comfortable and lovely soft towels. The breakfast is brought to your room around 9am on a trolley. You have tea, coffee, juice, cereals, yoghurts and toast to choose from and then a full cooked breakfast will follow shortly. You certainly won’t go hungry! My favourite thing has to be the large balcony with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. I would take my morning cup of tea outside with me and sit on the balcony people watching and dolphin spotting. We even took our fish and chips onto the balcony one evening and sat at the large table and chairs to enjoy our dinner with a view. You really can’t fault this place. Downstairs is the fabulous stocked Sup Shack shop. The T-shirts and jumpers with Sup Shack logos are fantastic. Great quality and wash very well. Don’t hesitate to book this place. It’s definitely our happy place.

Stayed Monday to Thursday at The Sup Shack b&b and had a brilliant stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had living room with dining area, a small fridge and separate bedroom with lovely comfortable bed, and the breakfast which includes cereals, yogurts toast, little pots of jam and marmalade fresh pot of tea and also a full cooked breakfast is brought to the room to eat at your dining table. The balcony was a great bonus, the view fantastic, and we sat out overlooking the bay on the lovely seating area provided. We were made to feel very welcome by Richard and his lovely wife and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return. This place is a real gem.

What an amazing local business! Fantastic equipment on display, staff treat you like family. Excellent shop, wouldn’t get better service anywhere else.

Just back from a week at Sup Shack and as excellent as ever with the rooms spotless and breakfast plentyful and fresh. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. We tried the food downstairs and best food in New Quay, especially the Pizzas. Location is excellent being right on the shore, so we got up each morning to watch the sunrise over the water. Enjoyed it so much, already booked for next year. Car parking is in a pay and display next door and was £20.50 for the week. Dont hesitate, book with Sup Shack, you wont be disappointed.

Had the opportunity of staying at this wonderful accommodation whilst working for the RNLI. Lovely spacious rooms and breakfast was heaven sent. Would like to thank Richard & Dianne for allowing me to stay at their gorgeous home 🙏🏼

This place is an absolute gem. We have eaten the best pizzas I've ever tasted here. My son loved the bbq pork fries so much he has eaten them every day of our week stay in New Quay. Brilliantly friendly staff, freshly cooked food that is full of flavour and a sea view to die for. I wish this business every success. What a gem.

Two days in a row where we have qued up and tried to order more than 10 mins before they stopped serving food, we was refused rudely. The guy clearly saw we was waiting to order and removed the signs and told us they were no longer serving, 10 mins before the sign said. Thanks a lot !

My daughter ordered a 12" pizza, which was freshly made and very tasty. Also bought coffee and milkshake which were very nice too.

We only experienced the takeaway outlet at the side of the building and had no idea that there was much more going on. But we was very surprised about what was on offer from this small window. My partner, step-daughter a and I had possibly the most delicious milkshakes we have ever had. But while we were waiting we noticed people coming to the window with what looked like quietly beeping devices that we now know to be bluetooth queuing system devices that let people who were sat at a seated area across the road that their order was ready. Also the array of food and beverages on offer was surprising too. From such an aparently small busines there is a hell of a lot on offer. It wasnt until i read some other reviews that the sup shack is also a hotel. Before discovering this to be a hotel i googled to see if there were other branches of the takeaway around the country and i was saddened to see that there is only this one in New Quay. Shame. I would love there to be a sup shack takeaway chain with one near to our home in derby

Wonderful stay at The Sup Shack. Location, well you can't go wrong with New Quay, The Sup Shack is located right above the beach and has a perfect vantage point from the balcony. Accommodation lovely, cosy and immaculate. Now the breakfast, wow, I was full all day!

Avoid if you can, 2 pizza bought both too heavily loaded with cheese and base only part cooked, a t least half of each ended in nearest bin. Not good.

Great shop. Good variety and helpfull staff. Lure Fishing section is great has good quality reels and rods and lures.

We got a couple of drinks from the takeaway window and sat at their tables on the other side of the road overlooking the sea. Nice place to people watch and gaze out to sea.

I bought a T in the incorrect size. Arrived home from holiday and with just one phone call an alternative size was on it's way with fast delivery. Very helpful!

Great prices on Dry robes, hadn't intended on buying one but was such a good price compared to other retailers I couldn't not buy one. Friendly staff as well.

The one tee shirt i really wanted was out of stock in my size. The store mailed it to me at no extra charge what above and beyond service five massive stars.

You can sup (at exorbitant prices!) but they're not keen on serving food. Asked for food at 5:30 on Saturday evening. Answer - No, not until 6:15. Can we place an order to have food from 6:15. Answer - No, can only place orders at 6:15. However when I went back at 6.15 having seen people ordering there was a queue, great can order. Answer - there is a 45 minute wait! For all food? Yes. No thanks, we'll take our custom elsewhere! Staff were not helpful or sorry , very poor service.

This was our first visit to New Quay and we could not have wished for a better place to stay. Our room at The Sup Shack was wonderfully comfortable, with a lovely relaxing lounge area and comfy bed. However what makes this place so special is the spectacular view over the bay which we were lucky to have from our room. There is a balcony area for the use of guests (there are just 3 rooms so is never crowded) which has patio chairs where you can sit and look for dolphins, enjoying a drink and taking in the view. We saw dolphins several times during our stay! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Each morning both a selection of cereal and yogurts and full English were delivered to our room - it was all delicious. We would highly recommend a stay at The Sup Shack ❤️

First timers here. Amazing hospitality from Diane Rich and son Andy.Stopped in Man fan we room overlooking the jaw dropping view of New quay bay..watched the dolphins in the morning over the superb full English in Wales.The best choice of cereals all delivered to your room!Room was well appointed and the bed amazingly comfortable.No noise but in the middle of town makes it superbly located.For absolutely everything.We are well travelled and these guys know how to host!Thanks for the memories we will definitely be back soon. I can only review their pizza's, as that's all i bought. Avoid! The base was rock hard, most probably from frozen. The toppings were tasted cheap. Two 9" pizza and 2 cans of coke was £25. Absolute RIP off! By the way, the hoodies looked like thin saggy hoodies you'd get from primark,but with some print on them charging £50

Came here for a coffee did actually seem like a nice little bar just not good for coffee. Got a latte and was served what tastes like hot milk. Not sure how much coffee was used but couldn’t have been more that one shot so make sure to ask for 2 shots as it should be, if you go here for coffee

The Sup Shack is an Aladdin's cave of all manner of SUP goodness. Andy and the staff are passionate, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. This is a truly trustworthy outfit that will give you sound advice along with excellent service. I'm looking forward to many more dealings with them in the future!

Once again we had a very relaxing holiday at the sup shack. Richard, his wife and the team were once again superb. The food is top class and the breakfast is second to none! The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels daily. They really couldnt do enough for you. Stunning holiday. Have already booked for next year. Superb place

Have been in New Quay since Saturday (today is Tuesday) and have ordered food from here twice. Outstanding burger and chips, tonight pizza onion rings and dirty fries. The quality of the food is excellent, no corners cut to make more profit. Ordering is easy and you are given a mobile device to alert you when your order is ready so you don’t hang around clogging up the area. Staff are friendly and polite. There is even a picnic area looking directly over the sea if you wish to eat out. Both our orders we ate at our holiday home as the weather wasn’t kind.

We've been staying at the Sup Shack (formerly the Wellington Inn) for many years and it's always been excellent. Richard and Diane have spent the lockdown period modernising the decor in the rooms and they look great. Couple that with the great views (including dolphins) the scrumptious breakfasts and their very warm welcome and we'll be coming back for many years to come.

We were supposed to visit here since last year.At no time were we told that the access to this place is up a steep flight of steps with no hand rail until you got around the corner .We asked if there was another way in,there was but got told due to covid restrictions only way in was up the steep steps.We asked to speak to the manager who was out .We made the decision not to stay as it meant I'd be stuck in the room all weekend as no way going up and down especially in the rain.This should have been made clear at time of booking.Not Suitable for those with mobility issues.

Just returned from 3 really enjoyable nights.It was the last 3 nights before indoor hospitality could resume but the owners could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.Room Had a lounge,dining area,and bedroom both with fantastic sea views.Food Breakfast was served in your room and was as good as any we have had in luxury hotels,with a good selection,and the hot cooked breakfast was both tasty and filling,set you up for the day.We had two evening meals which where really tasty and very reasonable priced,once again delivered to your room.The hotel has it's own private balcony with superb sea views,ideal for dolphin and people watching.I would highly recommend The Wellington Sup Shack to anyone visiting New Quay and can't wait to return.

Whilst staying in New Quay had great food and we eat regularly in New Quay and their cups are amazing. Our Lasagne and Garlic bread plus ribs were amazing too.

When I decided to buy a paddle board, I went through a lot of companies and shops before I came across the The Sup shack, I'm so glad I did. from start to finish, I found them to be professional and only to happy to help me with all my questions and any problems I had. When I decided to buy my board from them, I found it very easy and a joy to make the deal, even from Manchester in the grips of a pandemic. If you want a paddle board look no further than using this shop, you won't go wrong. Thanks for everything you did for me the delivery of my board was over and above anything I expected.

We visited Sup Shack for takeaways about 4 or 5 times during our holiday. Seems to be the only place other than fish 'n chip shops serving food and drink after about 6pm. Perfectly sited for food and drink right on the cliff top with sea view seating right outside. It's jovial and welcoming proprietor offers a good choice of beers and wines and incredible pizzas!

Me and my mam got food from here at the weekend. We had it as take away and it was amazing. The portion sizes were really good and all the food was delicious. Great service. Will definitely be coming back! 😁

Just had our best, most relaxing holiday ever! Lovely clean rooms, fresh towels every day and a landlord and his wife that could not do enough for you! The food was superb but make sure you are very hungry! The views from the balcony are amazing, watching the dolphins every day! Would happily spend the rest of my life up there. Amazing

Ordered some takeaway pizza today. Expecting a woodfired crispy based pizza..instead got a stodgy base overloaded with too much sauce and toppings. It maybe to some peoples taste but a big thumbs down from us. We rarely have unfinished pizza. Alot left over today and at £10.99 a pizza, not cheap either:(

Bought a sup board online. Few issues with delivery during the pandemic. But Andy the manager went above and beyond to get it sorted for me. Lovely spot right on the sea front. All sorts of surfing gear inside. Highly recommended. 👍

Had a great meal here in the sup shack (formerly the Wellington inn). Not a lot has changed with the food but the decor is lighter. The owner is very friendly and very obliging. The meal was outstanding. I am pleased to hear that they are going to serve evening meals once again ( although a reduced menu) there appears plenty of choice and extremely competitive prices. From the past my only criticism big portions so don't overindulge !

Been to the shack on numerous occasions and also before it was revamped.Always a very warm welcome from the landlord and all the staff. Would recommend to anybody wanting great food and great beer. When we visit New Quay this is our place to eat.

I love Garlic Mushrooms and can honestly say the ones I had here were the best I've had anywhere!Great service, with a particular shout out to the young girl who served us and was attentive, efficient and polite. Great stuff!

Really really good quality food and large portions - we loved it so much we came back the next day! Fantastic Sunday roast in a large Yorkshire pudding, vegetables were really good and cooked well (not to mush!) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money considering portion sizes. Also had takeaway cake which was very good will be sure to come back if in the area again

We all decided to have pizza so we were aware we would have to wait a while, it did seem a fairly long wait considering the place was not too busy. Having said that when it arrived the chips were excellant and the pizzas a good size. My was quite tomatoe for me but the other three pizzas were given A+. Friendly staff.

All seven of us had a lovely lunch - the sandwiches are definitely not 'just sandwiches!'With lots of superb tasty fillings, delicious coleslaw and a crisp, fresh salad, we left feeling full! The delicious food, a very friendly, hospitable landlord and a fantastic sea view made our lunch time stop amazing! We shall certainly return to this place the next time we are in Newquay.

On a cold wet and windy night, what was needed, was good beer and hearty food. A warm welcome was given to us on our arrival. I had noticed that a few tables were reserved so took this as a good sign. The food was excellent along with the service. We will most certainly return when we visit again.

Gorgeous breakfast husband had full cooked breakfast which he said was lovely . The kids where able to half sized breakfast and I had lovely pancakes with bacon . The staff where friendly and helpful

My husband and I visited the Sup Shack while on holiday in Aberaeron. It was so fantastic we went back again a few days later! We both had the Sup Stack, which was the best thing I have ever eaten, bar none! Sort of pulled pork/ burger taken to an amazing level! Everything else we ate was also fantastic, large portions, freshly cooked. The service was very good and the staff friendly, and we will definitely be returning next year!

We booked a table of 10, for 4 kids and 6 adults. Table was ready and waiting for us. The venue was previously the Wellington and has had a huge refurb. The interior is stunning and has a surf theme. The food portions were huge and the food was some of the best many of us have ever had! Staff are lovely and friendly! We will advise every one to eat here! Also reasonably priced. We will be back on our next visit for sure!!

Sunday roast £10.95. Served piping hot. Beef was a little chewy but cut very thick. No complaints with the rest of the food although the gravy was a little too salty. Good size plate !

Wonderful service and food provided for such a good price. It has a lot of various choices to pick from on the menu; I chose the halloumi burger being vegetarian. It was great! The decor was lovely and there was a great atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that the portions were quite big, maybe even too big. The burgers were massive and a lot of chips were provided. Maybe, they could slightly decrease this otherwise there is a lot of food waste. However, for £14.99, it was a great deal :) Will be returning if I visit again.

6 of us booked a table, food was stunning very tasty and, lots of it. Would highly recommend visiting, but book a table as its only a small venue.

Called in for an evening meal. Had the large rack ribs, which were fab and a toffee and banana pavlova. A million tasty calories! Oh and a nice beer too. The burger also looked great and at a reasonable price. Great place to go if you are hungry!

Nice decor and style about this resturant over looking the the bay. Great food with generous portions we had pizza and the curry. Both were excellent. Price is about average for the village. Would recommend

Haven't visited the shop, only the attached cafe/bar, which was good. Reasonable selection of dishes & draught beers, friendly staff, sure we will be returning.

Start it I been there quite a few times over last 30 years, on this visit my first impression was disappointment, inside has totally changed and not what I expected. On plus side food and service were excellent, massive portions and tasted lovely . Would def visit again.

Absolutely recommended for family dining, quaint laidback surfers food paradise. Eating real home cooked meals in a beach hut, hot day, views across the harbour... what more could you ask for?

we booked in for an evening meal in July 19 , we had visited the shop att and thought it looked good for a meal in the dining area , we were not disappointed .The meals we had were great and I advise you go hungry before you go as the portion sizes are massive !its not the usual pub fayre , the menu is interesting and varied , the food is really good too ! the beef pot pie my son had was delicious he said and we all had good comments on the food - too full for desert though .Its not too pricey either , defo worth a visit if you are in Newquay - book first though its quite small inside with not many tables .We will be returning next summer - thanks again guys

We visited twice during our holiday. The service and food were excellent and the portions were huge. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Both times we were given a table by the window with lovely views out to sea and the chance of spotting the dolphins. We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we are in New Quay.

We have been to The Sup Shack twice this year on a B&B basis and would recommend it 100%. The rooms are clean and spacious and very comfortable. The food is excellent. Every meal is delicious and HUGE!!! A B&B with spectacular views. Richard, Dianne and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. See you again very soon.

Had Sunday dinner here for the first time since it was called the wellington. The interior has changed quite a bit but the food and service have retained their high quality. The only difference is your choice of meat now comes served in a giant Yorkshire pud. Would still recommend this to anyone, but booking is a must.

A quirky but very welcoming place which we discovered when looking on line to book Sunday lunch in New Quay. Our choice of roast turkey with stuffing was presented in a large Yorkshire pudding but not drowned in gravy (which came in a separate boat and was delicious). Everything was cooked beautifully and really hot. We were tempted by the array of lovely cakes but had no room for any. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place

Called in for quick lunch and decided to share a pizza. Good atmosphere and choice of eating outside or inside. Very thick pizz, well cooked with delicious toppings.

Called here for food what a experience atmosphere was lovely staff couldn’t do enough and the food was out of this world. Very well presented and quick service nearly fainted when we saw the portion size!!!!! My other half loves his food but even he struggled had to push him up hill lol the food was so well cooked and tasted amazing please try this place you won’t be disappointed.

Visited here for a lunchtime snack during May half term. New Quay was packed but the Sup Shack had a couple of tables free which was perfect for our little group with several young children. The grown ups had delicious home made pizzas and the children had nuggets type things with fantastic chips. Despite being really busy and clearly at the end of lunch the staff were wonderfully friendly, the food great and reasonably priced. A fantastic alternative to the fish and chip shops elsewhere in the town and the bonus being that Dad could enjoy a good pint of Wadsworth 6X!

My boyfriend and I visited The Sup Shack on Saturday afternoon. We were both starving and came across this place by the car park. As we were a bit early for the main menu we were given a choice of Pizza with fries or a Jacket potato. My boyfriend went for the Pizza and he was amazed how tasty and thick the pizza was. I had a lovely jacket potato with coleslaw. We loved the décor and the cleanliness of the place. Everything spotless. We will return hopefully to celebrate my birthday in June.

We were looking for somewhere in New Quay for morning coffee and as this place is right next to the car park and looked appealing from the outside we decided to give it a try. Turns out that they haven't been open long, the previous pub shut at the start of the year. We wanted coffee, tea and cake all of which turned out to be delicious served by a very friendly team. An added bonus was being able to sit in the window and watch dolphins out in the bay. It was a lovely place and I wish them the best of luck.

What a fantastic place! Great selection of delicious cakes; lemon drizzle and tea cakes the size of dinner plates with huge amounts of butter. Great choice of loose leaf teas and coffees. We indulged in all this, plus watched dolphins swimming out in the bay through the window. Bliss!
