Serves very good coffee and had an excellent sandwich with what I took to be home made coleslaw which was delicious, sounds a daft thing to comment on but it was really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, there's also a little book shop information point and grocery shop. An unexpected surprise find.

We came across Cletwr by accident while on the hunt for a place to stop, and I'm so glad we did. This is a fabulous community shop and cafe supported by a team of volunteers who have created something really special. The coffee and cakes were great, and we then spent some time in their shop that brings together some wonderful Welsh produce. Cletwr is a great example of a community-owned project and we'll be making a point of stopping by to support them when we're next in the area.

Make sure you give this place a visit for a hearty breakfast or light bite. This is a gem of a place, friendly, hard working staff that take pride in what they do. Breakfast was full of flavour using quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. Lovely setting and building design with choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Free cordial for kids and an indoor play area to keep them occupied. Good base for local walks. A credit to the community, well done.

I always think “how hard can it be to do a decent cooked breakfast”, but going on evidence, it’s generally too much hassle for most places. This breakfast tastes like someone cared, a lot. The bacon and sausages are local, and very tasty. The black pudding is oaty and tasty, not the slimey slab most places dish up. Even the hash brown had a little something; a slightly peppery taste. Thick buttery toast. Very much worth a visit! It is sometimes a fine line between acceptable and lovely cooked breakfasts and this is definitely the latter!

A nice, child-friendly cafe with quite a posh farm shop adjoining it. We had the all-day breakfasts and some delicious rocky road, whilst our children enjoyed the play area. My only complaints would be that the waitress flatly refused to swap my fried egg for a scrambled/poached one without charging extra, which seemed a bit mean, and they could have been quicker at clearing the tables between courses. The fact that it is run by the community makes it even more special. The service was quick and very efficient and within minutes we were all tucking into good quality breakfasts which, as an added bonus, were very competitively priced. During the visit one of our group started to feel a bit unwell and the care and concern shown by the young staff was exceptional and cemented our views that this is a special place.

Stopped in on our way to Aberystwyth for a wee stop and a coffee. Had to wait a while for the young man behind the counter, but when they arrived the drinks were good. A nice local establishment.

The old Clettwr Cafe was well known to anyone travelling between north and south Wales on the A487, and it was a great loss when it closed a few years ago. It's great to see it open again. The cafe serves a selection of good basic food - coffee and cakes, a few simple hot dishes at lunchtime, breakfasts at the weekend. They say that most of the food is home-made, and it's very tasty. I recommend the lemon polenta cake! Good value, friendly cafe and well worth a visit when passing.

This was a referal as good Portuguese food. Food not good Owner friendly I would not class this as Portuguese I spoke to him regarding the menu and remarked that we love the food in the Ty Madeira Cardiff he said he knew the owner but the food was nothing like the restaurants we have been to.

First time at the Blue Bell, certainly won't be the last.My 3 friends and I take turns to choose a venue, and although I'm familiar with New Quay this little gem escaped me.The food was amazing, staff were attentive and friendly. We will recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat.Thank you.
