A welcome sight after a long walk. Pleased to find this proper village pub open when I stopped by late afternoon. Enjoyed a warm welcome and a couple of well served pints.

Poor menu. I chose the burger with chips. It was so bad I could not eat it. In fact, it was the worst burger I have ever had. McDonald's would have been better. I won't be going there again.

Dined here last week and the food was excellent, good portions and very tasty. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They adhered to the Covid19 regulations and made us feel safe. Will certainly call again and recommend the Pub to our friends

Had gammon (which was very nice) and i had what was supposed to be roasted veg lasagne (the only veggie dish on the menu), well it was possibly the worst lasagne i have ever had - it was full of chopped carrots!!! with one sheet of pasta and cheese on top. Waitress did not seem interested when i told her why i had left the lasagne, we also had to pay for the blooming thing!!! Will definitely not be going back there despite it being fairly local.

Always a very warm welcome from Don & his son Nath who run this community owned village pub. In my opinion the best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland but not the main reason for making an effort to get there. The restaurant is only open on Friday & Saturday nights but serves what might best be described as traditional honest and tasty pub grub. The menu is not huge (unlike the portions) but still has plenty of home cooked choices including Nath’s delicious home made pies, lasagne and a weekly special all accompanied by plenty of hand cut home made chips. The feast doesn’t have to end there as the dessert menu usually includes a selection of home made puds. Enjoy!

We travel through wales a lot and stop at this little cafe for a break and a coffee to recharge and let the children stretch their legs. There is a children's corner for the children to play in.

We were back from a long walk in the local area and were served very quickly for a late lunch on a Sunday. Delicious milkshake and toasted sandwiches, nothing fancy just inexpensive well cooked food.

I'm ashamed to say that we ate here 3 times for lunch in our weeks holiday. It was lovely. Cheery decor, relaxed and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced food, and home made. A gem!

Disappointed with pricing !, bought a coffee and a tea which were ok. Asked for a hot sausage roll £2.50 so again not bad still. Then bought a bag of walkers cheese and onion crisps and was charged £3
