not been in here for a very long time and although it looks ok on the surface its ready for a new everything...The beer was good but like everywhere overpriced but we do live in a holiday resort and the locals are expected to pay holiday prices too.(no wonder the pubs trade is dying)Toilets are in need of a full refurb and look as if someone is in the process of attempting to start the process 🤔 Pleasant enough place to enjoy a few beers but feel it could do with an update.

Recently visited here for breakfast with my family. The restaurant is small in terms of space and I can imagine if everyone had a trolley it would be hectic and cramped. Service was really good, couldn’t fault it at all. Food So, my boys and me both ordered the big breakfast, it was lovely presentation and given your in a supermarket cafe the food itself was lovely. My wife had scrambled eggs on toast which she said was lovely, the scrambled eggs didn’t look watery at all. Downside The only downside I have for the cafe is that the branded drinks are expensive, £1.09 for a can of Coke Zero to me is expensive. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back again

Lucky Llangollen to have this bakery - the best seeded loaf around. Can also recommend the white tin loaf and the takeaway sausage buns. Friendly service with a smile.

We went for tea and cake during an afternoon visit. Red flag alert as soon as we arrived as the waitress started to explain to us how busy they had been and that there was only 2 of them in so they were closing the kitchen and they were only light bites available. We ordered 2 pieces of cake and 2 teas. We waited patiently as eventually she brought 2 cups with 2 different saucers plus a stainless steel filthy teapot which had seen better days. The cake arrived and it was really dry to the point of asking the waitress, ‘have you any pouring cream?’ just so we could get it down the red lane! The answer would you believe was “no”. I poured the tea from the teapot and more of it went on the table then in the cup. Finally the bill was an extortionate £14 pounds and 40pence I kid you not. Asked if everything was okay I said “The cake was very dry” she replied, “It’s been in the sun!” Anyway that was our experience and looking at reviews it seems it’s normal .

Very dissapointed with this place. Tables were cleared but had not been wiped down after the previous customers. Food was OK and would have had better burgers and chips from McDonald's, and that says something. Salad in with burger was that old it had dried up 🫣 Was a long wait for food but was informed of this when ordering. Staff hanging around as if they weren't aware of their job start with helping with the long queue the one member of staff had at the till or even giving the tables a wipe down. Sadly we wont be returnuing and we do hope management will sort the issues.

Dear Costa Coffee Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment with an incident that occurred during my visit to one of your branches. My friends and I went in to have lunch, intending to buy food and drinks. However, we were treated unfairly and unprofessionally by staff, which led to us being asked to leave. As soon as we entered, we were told we needed to have food with us, despite the fact that we had planned to purchase items. We explained that we were going to buy food, but before we could do so, a staff member approached us—she had brown hair, was wearing a large cardigan, and appeared to be quite harsh in her manner. Without further explanation, she insisted that we leave. To make matters worse, we observed that other customers, including older individuals, were sitting in the same area without food, yet they were not asked to leave. This made us feel singled out and unfairly treated. What was even more troubling was the behavior of the staff member, who not only asked us to leave but also made disparaging comments about us while we were still in the store. We overheard her talking negatively about us and giving us “stink-eye,” which was both unprofessional and hurtful. Meanwhile, our friends, who had food, were allowed to stay, which only reinforced the feeling of discrimination. This experience was embarrassing and left us feeling disrespected. I have always enjoyed visiting Costa Coffee in the past, but this incident has left me questioning the standards of customer service at your establishment. I would appreciate an explanation of why we were treated in this way and what steps you will take to ensure this does not happen to others in the future. I look forward to your response. Sincerely,Brooke.

Came to visit with my grandchildren after been recommended quite a few times. Whole experience from start to finish was awful. No booking system so you just turn up wait for a table to become free pay for an hour. No communication from staff or noticed advising this. What made it worse a man came along with family of 5 said I work here and was let in right past everyone that had been in the queue. Accept there may be perks for being a staff member but shouldn’t be allowed to jump the queue especially as they did not pay. Noticed the said family eating and drinking their own food bought in when clear notices against this. Young lady said have cleared your table it ready. We ended up wiping it ourselves with baby wipes along with the chairs before we could sit down. Bits of disguarded food all over the dirty floors clearly a slip hazard. Older children playing in the toddlers area wasn’t safe for my granddaughter. Waited 15 mins to be served 2 coffees with no one in front of me. Young staff gave no idea what they are doing. Just stand and stare at you blankly. No management around to delegate duties. We ended up coming out after 35 minutes and won’t be returning !!!
