The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wales

Living locally we have visited often but food quality is now very poor. On the last three visits we have ordered bacon baps, on the first food was good three rashers of bacon on a fresh buttered bread roll, second visit still three rashers of bacon but on unbuttered toasted brioche bun which was awful, very sweet, third visit still the disgusting toasted unbuttered sweet brioche bun and now only two rashers of bacon. If you now only offer a toasted sweet brioche bun with bacon please detail this on the menu as this is not what is expected when ordering a bacon bap as detailed. Cake is hit and miss, good, not available or stale. Poor selection of cold drinks available. Hot drinks okay. Service is always very slow but not due to lack of staff or queues but due to the strange set up at the counter and lots of talking. Shame about the decline as this used to be very good busy local cafe and we prefer to support local but unless things improve we are unlikely to continue to visit this cafe.

You would not know that this is a M &S cafe, the service is so slow,the manager has two speeds slow & stop. The cake counter has no plates,so customers are using the server plates, tables are left and not cleared or wiped. A very unsatisfactory vist. This needs a deep clean,and staff training.

Great pub in Conwy. Tracy and Ryan run a tight ship with a great community feeling. Very reasonably priced beers and lots of TV’s to watch football and Rugby. Multiple screens with different teams on to suit the crowd. Ideally situated on the main high street in Conwy.

Same people same problem only a matter of time before it all goes off its a shame nice staff have no control who they let in

Man we is goin in dis place an its all posh an tables full of china and cutlery. A creepy guy in a hat cum up an he wittered on and on an wen de food cum he not go away like. We is eatin fast to get out and de bill cums an man we cud ave eated at McDonalds for a month wid wot him chargin us. Avoid dis place as its de pits man, I is warnin all of yous.

Food not hot. Lumps in everything. Service slow. Prices high. Huge gaps between courses. Our coffee was ordered but we had to remind the Staff to bring it to the table. My fellow diner found two hard lumps of carrot at the bottom of the bowl the tepid tomato soup was served in

Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. El café más amable en Pontcanna! Llamamos al nuevo terreno el domingo pasado. El servicio y la comida eran excepcionales! Tom fue excepcional, asegurando que todo nuestro grupo estuviera sentado juntos, era tan complaciente. Todo el personal es genial, pero hay una joven encantadora con el pelo rubio que siempre es tan amable también! ¡No puedo esperar para volver!

Esto parece estar cerrado, qué pena que realmente estaba deseando comer aquí. Otro catering en la calle Fagans no es lo mismo y es como catering en cualquier lugar

Nice little coffee shop, really pretty and cosy inside. However, the food was way overpriced in my opinion. Also not worth the price at all. With the price we paid for avocado and salmon on toast, we expected some good food, at least something that feels like they just made it. But the avocado wasn’t fresh and was more liquid than “smashed”. The rest of the menu looked just as pricy. Very disappointed. Will not go back for food.

We came here on a Sunday morning, plenty of seating, clean but staff was taking to many orders at once which meant there was a large queue of people waiting on drinks, our food was ready before we even received our drinks, so it had already gone cold, food is pre cooked and warmed up.

If you want a massive fight, drug dealing,filth then this is the place for you. By the way make sure you have protective clothing on as when you arrive home you end up smelling like you have been living in the jungle in Peru under a tent & making whacky all day & night.... Please stay away from there. SWP are trying to shut it down.

After a few days camping in a field in Cwympengraig we chanced on Emlyn Hotel. The Bistro was recommended so we gave it a try. I was delighted that the cod was in gluten free batter. It was perfectly cooked and a generous portion. The Lentil and Spinach burger was good, but was a curry flavour. I like curry, but was going more for a classic taste that night and it didn't say that it was a curry burger. Having said that the gluten free roll was excellent and from a local baker and the triple cooked chips were fantastic. My husband had the welsh cake stack with Penderyn Ice cream and maple syrup. He said it was utterly delicious!

Went after work at 5.30. Served by a lad named Lewis. Very helpful and went out of his way to help me. Food was good as usual. Very impressed.

On arrival, I was told I had a room in the wing, going through the entrance, the stench was overwhelming. I had to contact reception as it was very cold in there with the heating only coming on when the timer kicked in which was not for another couple of hours. The Internet also failed to connect. I had hoped for a swim in the pool as advertised on the website but this too was closed. Then there was the issue of the water pressure which made it practically impossible to have a shower, the water hardly trickled out. The wing in my view is just not fit for purpose, it is the worst hotel experience I have had for many years.

We came to this cafe on the recommendation of a friend who comes here regularly on the way to Aberystwyth. We had 2 vegetarian breakfasts which were hot and tasty and a very good portion. We got 3 vege sausages, hash browns, beans, cooked tomatoes, eggs, toast and mushrooms. I altered my brekkie, removing the mushrooms and asking for scrambled egg which they did without any problems. Each brekkie was just £5.50 which we felt was very good value. The server was friendly and the cafe had a nice atmosphere. It is a basic no frills cafe but delivered what we had been told which was very tasty and good value breakfast. We were happy and would definitely go back. Especially at that price!
