Consistently good service & beer

We ordered two meals and a tea and coffee. Only 9 people in there two of which didn’t eat. 45 min wait for corned beef pie and chips and steak burger. The tea and coffee were served in cups without saucers and nowhere to put the tea bag. Food was ok but nothing special. Nicer places about or similar price. Staff nice enough but they need to work on things. The carpet needs cleaning too.

Despite it's rather gloomy interior (it is a long cafe with restricted light getting in, this is a decent place for a coffee.

Went there for Sunday lunch 😋 very good and tasty.

I had the pleasure of visiting this Costa Coffee shop recently (18/11/24) and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a well-maintained and clean seating area that made me feel right at home. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. The barista who made my coffee (I wish I’d caught their name, they were working around midday) was exceptionally friendly and professional. They took the time to prepare my order with care, and the result was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had from Costa. Perfectly smooth, with just the right balance of flavors. It’s clear that this team takes pride in what they do, and it made my experience all the more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be making a point to visit this location more often. Great job, and thank you for the wonderful service!

I visited today and I met Katie and Mellisa. They were fantastic, great customer service, very polite and friendly. I will definitely come back if I will be in this area and I can highly recommend it. Thx guys Michael

Water babies lessons Had a catch up lesson. The swimming pool Car park is massive and FREE parking for 4 hours no need to add your reg until after the free hours. (Other reviews seem to mention pricey parking but this is not so) Looked massive and clean when came in Starbucks added bonus for a snack after swim The changing rooms are pretty decent with male/female/family separation They had a swimsuit "dryer" it took care of most the water so it was not dripping everywhere. The pool was chilly but warmer then normal pools (probably due to the lessons) Pool looked amazing to relax in for a spa day too. Loads of different options and lanes.

Great range of shops, large car park, Morrisons as well

Came here last November in the evening for a birthday meal and was blown away by the quality of the food, especially for how good the price was! Came back today to try their breakfast menu and it was very tasty for so cheap! Full english as well as continental fun under £10! Debbie was our server as she was brilliant, we've now booked in for breakfast with santa for our little one and are planning to come back to try the carvery!

Hi have been in a couple off times lately to be told that sausages aren’t hot first time was still warm this time was cold lady served me and partner wasn’t very helpful why would you want your customers to buy cold pies etc you are bringing them out way to early I didn’t enjoy my stone sausage wasn’t worth the money i will be telling my friends won’t shopping in there again

We regularly come to The Cliffs and have been doing so for over 15 years. It is usually our go to place to eat. We are not locals, but we are always greeted well both in and out of season. The food is very good for the price, the menu changes seasonally, but you will always find something great to eat. We had the Sunday dinner out of season which was fabulous and we also recently had the lobster, which was a real treat especially as it is local produce - which is much the same for rest of their menu. The restaurant is always very accommodating especially when we have come with younger members of our family. Our dog Mabel is also made very welcome by everyone too, plus there are treats available for purchase which certainly helps. Their entertainment is always good, from open mic nights to the weekly pub quiz, Halloween is also a top time to visit. The bar is well stocked and also has a good range of alcohol free. Nothing pretentious here, you get exactly what a good pub should offer. Josh and the crew are fabulous and always super friendly, we love coming here. It’s a thanks from us!
